I am so glad that I can watch this video 🎥 in peace✌🏿knowing you came out ok cause if I didn't know that I would be on pins and needles😱😱Continuously in my Prayers🙏🏿🙏🏿My guy Ty😘😘
Yay! So happy to see this video come out!! Was waiting to see that you made it through surgery ok👌 Sending lottsa hugz & healing energy for a speedy recovery 🙏💫 Much 💚 & Stay Lifted ✌
Only came across your reaction videos lately and found you to be quite the character (an indirect way of a Brit saying they like you lol). Not sure if anyone had explained this to you, but I would recommend staying away from any food or drink that is gassy as it can be pretty painful and uncomfortable for quite a few weeks after you've had the op (my auntie went through the same process and made that mistake). One other thing is that you'll start feeling quite full rather quickly, and a really good way to combat bloating is to spend 30 seconds on each mouthful of food. Best of luck with your journey; the bypass honestly works wonders for those who put in the effort so fingers crossed for you!
You have inspired me to take control over my health. Today is my day 1 of forever taking care of myself and my health. Thank you Sir for motivating all of us and especially for motivating me. Much love, respect, and healing your way. ❤
@ I’m the kitchen with Gina Young, WELL HELLO DEAR , hey Gina it’s funny how WE ALL JUST KNOW& LOVE A GOOD HEARTED PERSON 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽 TY IS SUCH A WONDERFUL, JOYFUL, Kind hearted person. Getting control of your weight is getting control of your life. That is a brave and courageous step you took. You are on the way to a great rest of your life. Wishing you all the best Love from the Bahamas 🇧🇸.
So glad you had great nurses! _Especially_ at night! That makes suuuuuch a huge difference. I had to spend like 2 weeks in the hospital when I was 17, due to a blood clot 4 inches away from my heart, 6 inches from my brain and when you're stuck in bed 24/7, and have to be supine your ENTIRE time, having a good, scratch that... GREAT bed, makes all the difference! You don't realize how much hospital beds REALLY suck, until you have to be in one for days on end. In regards to nurses, I _still_ remember that uhhhmazing nurses I had, even 20+years later. They make ALLLLL the difference!!! Take Care!!! 💝
Awww we had our Bypasses on the same day and time!!!!! Happy 6 months post op to us! I am down 100lbs. They sent me home same day just a few hrs after surgery (had to do walk, use bathroom and answer questions)
Glad your up on your research of what you can and cant have. The food staff wasn't on their job. Shows that your taking this new journey very seriously. Wishing much success. Namaste 💗🦋
Congrats on ur new journey.. I had it done 3 years ago… the first months was hell I’m not gone lie but I got thru it and u can too…but u gone love the results… I lost 120 pounds and still maintaining…u can do it!!! ☺️😊
🎉on your procedure I’m having my first video visit tomorrow which is Monday kind of scared, but is it true that they require you to lose some weight before getting the procedure done? Also, how long does it take to have the procedure? I know there are steps. Some people had to wait eight months !!
I am just now seeing your journey before and after your Surgery.,,, you did an amazing job. Great tips I needed that I am having the Sleeve Surgery soon.
For starters… Thank you soo much for your thoroughness and actually showing your progress with saying an actual date. I LOVE YOUR ENERGY and you made it look soo easy… thank you for this video ❤️
I did my sleeve surgery in 2018 I lost 200 pounds for me. When I was on the liquid diet I had to eat soup and it was good. I’m doing another surgery to lose even more weight. It’s called a doodle switch. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 get better soon I love ur videos
Good luck everything will be okay I'll keep you in my prayers today I had the gastric bypass surgery 10 years ago it's going to be a change especially since you like to cook all that yummy food but you got this your health is more important🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
You're doing amazing! This helps me more than you will ever know! My surgery is in October. I just had my 2nd office visit (my Insurance requires 3), I've had my nutritionist appt, and my bloodwork done. I still need to see the psychiatrist for an eval and the cardiologist for clearance and then October baby! Thank you for sharing your journey!
How did you get on? I'm just beginning my journey in the uk. Because of the nhs it could take up to 2 years to get to surgery but hopefully not that long. It will be worth it
@tywanasmith7494 I am 2 years 2 m9nths out. I've lost a total of 200 lbs and am at my goal weight. I'm having a tummy tuck and breast reduction in the late Spring. Oh my gosh, it has changed my whole life for the better. My only regret is that I didn't do it years sooner. I'm 58 years old today. Please think long and hard on this. I highly encourage everyone with a significant amount of weight to lose to go for it!! It really has made me a brand new person. I couldn't be happier. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you! Best of luck, prayers and blessings to you!!
I just started watching your cooking videos. I just had my surgery on 07/31/23 and my procedure was at 7:30AM. 😄So far I feel good. Most of the discomfort comes from the gas. Can’t wait to see my results overtime.
The fact that you actually were able to walk after such a major surgery is absolutely amazing. I actually backed out of my surgery because they said I would need to stay in the hospital for 1 wk and I was still trying to get over my surgery to remove fibroid tumors and hysterectomy. I was done because they said 2 days and it turned out to 5 and yeah the warm broth was my diet for 4 days the 5 day they said lose oatmeal and the dietician was a master at the lose oatmeal.
We’re on this journey with you. I’ve seen your 103 pound success and I was in tears. We believe in you. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Keep up the good work babe. You are awesome smooches. 🥰
I really appreciate you creating this playlist. I just started the journey. I have my initial consultation with my surgeon next month. Your videos have helped me get a general idea of what to expect. Congrats on your journey and continued success.
Good early morning, Ty! I’m praying for your healing ❤️🩹 and speedy recovery. Congrats 🎉 on your weight loss journey.💜 I had the Gastric Sleeve in 2014.✅

I follow you on TT and you just popped up on my research and am legit crying lmao my surgery’s on Tuesday. I was going THRU it with nerves and anxiety but you gave me new hope. Thank you Ty 🙏🏻
your doing amazing! i was sick as a dog in the hospital!! i had to stay 4 days ,i had hernia repair, lap band removal and bypass, wow you are doing great post op!
I'm embarking on my weight loss journey, which includes rny bypass surgery next month. It's surreal to me atp....thank you for documenting your journey. I appreciate this.
@Anthony Dunlap Overall, I'm pleased. I wish I would've gotten the procedure sooner. I'm down 66 lbs. Most of my joint pain is gone. I can actually walk around the mall now without having to take a break every 15 minutes. Atp the biggest challenges for me are remembering to take my vitamins daily & tuning into my body's signals regarding fullness, sugar, & physical activity.
@Anthony Dunlap Yes. Pre-op I was a desserts kinda girl. Now, not so much. The biggest thing for me is not liking cheesecake anymore...it used to be my fav dessert. And meats taste very, ummmm meaty. It's difficult for me to eat. The chewiness of it. I'll never stop eating pizza, but the oiliness of it is super off-putting now.
@MoniqueTheeNerd I love Cheesecake !!!! Where you surprised at the fast weight loss , I have my procedure in 39 days ... Also on your liquid diet where you allowed to eat sugar free jello and sugar free pudding ?
Hello Ty, congratulations you did it !!!!! Yesss Hontyyy your well on your way to a new LIFE STYLE LIVING! I’m glad all went well and is going well for you Ty 💙 Ty the hardest part is over now.
