The Chimera Ant Arc and Yorknew City Arc are in my opinion two of the best arcs in all of shounen, and the Succession War arc in the HxH manga combines the best parts of both. I really can’t wait for it to be adapted into the anime and see it finished because I feel like it genuinely has a chance to surpass both if it does.

I agree with homeboy ^^^. I started with the manga first after a friend of mine told me it's his favorite anime. I worked two jobs at the time so I felt like I didn't have enough time to watch the anime so I decided to read it. I got to the animated arc so I couldn't talk to my friend about it that much anymore. Since you like Kurapica so much I guarantee you're gonna like it. Just be prepared to read a lot. My bad for the paragraph but I really enjoy listening to stuff about anime that I like.
