nen fights are much more rock paper scissors or case by case. for instance uvogin has incredible aura and one of the stronger enhancers that has been shown but gets bodied by kurapika due to the fact that kurapika is a specialist when his eyes turn scarlet. but yea thats why the show is so great
It’s a very clear theme of the series there is a ton of power scaling in hxh but the writer, I’d argue it’s one of the most clear popular shonens in terms of a power hierarchy
It's rare for me to agree with power ranking tier list for my favorite series and honestly I agree with everything except Ging which is just because we have no info on him. Also THANK YOU for putting Netero above the royal guards, you can argue he wouldn't be able to damage them but even then he just ties them at worst, he'll slap them into the horizon and get away, none of them surpass his speed to damage him in any way

Tbh Shoot might be on par with Hisoka levels of agility and speed. Faster with his ultimate technique. So top tier PT members like Freitan, Hisoka and Chrollo.
In chrollo's case, in his fight against hisoka, a lot of h x h fans forget one important aspect of chrollo and nen in general. That being that chrollo is a specialist, meaning that he doesn't have access to any enhancement, like at all. Mean while, hisoka, being a transmuter, has access to enhancement, which explains why, whenever hisoka got up close to chrollo, he was the superior fighter.

Chrollo’s skill with enhancement was still enough to block full on punches from Silva Zoldyck, and come out from a flurry of punches from Zeno unscathed
Absolutely. The only chain restricted to the Phantom Troupe is chain jail - he can use judgement chain and steal chain/stealth dolphin, for example, on everyone, and both are instant wins (as judgement chain enforces a condition determined by Kurapika and steal chain enforces zetsu after the hatsu of the victim is stolen). And Emperor Time proved to be pretty effective against Uvo, as he was able to hang for a bit on hand to hand combat with one of the best enhancers of the series and heal his broken arm within seconds (due to the buff on enhancement from Emperor Time). And Kurapika is also one of the most intelligent characters. Imo he would win with relative ease against Knuckles, for example.

Beyond has to be guaranteed top 5 I think. There’s only one character in the series who’s been to the Dark continent twice. That’s his father Issac. Beyond has been once and wants to go back again. They are built different.
I think with Skill Chain and Stealth Dolphin, in addition to the stat buffs to 100% proficiency with Emperor Time, Kurapika would fall somewhere in the Zoldycks/Hisoka/Chrollo range

Adult Gon isnt beating Netero simply bcs he doesnt have enough experience or durability to tank his buddha like Meruem did, and he only managed to do that bcs of his extreme durability.
Honestly adult Gon is so hard to rank, because his only showing was a no diff fight. To me the way he *outclassed* Pitou, especially speedwise looked was an even more impressive combat fest than either Netero or Meruem have displayed. Also Meruem fought Netero with the handicap of not wanting to kill him, while his thoughts implied that he he could have ended it at every moment otherwise. I believe there is a good chance that adult Gon can overwhelme Netero by stats alone, maybe even speedblitz him.

At least, Netero was capable of sealing his wounds. Gon is basically an OP version of Uvogin. You also talked about Netero not doing damage to Pitou, again, another weak argument. It does Sound strange but when the raw stats are that lopsided can you really rule it out? 4) I don‘t really care if you have Netero beating Gon, my point is it is very much a close call in Neteros favour and possibly an easy stomp in Gons favour, so I know how I would rank them.
I think Zeno is stronger than Hisoka, Chrollo and Silva. Only by the simple fact that Netero brought and hired Zeno out of all the Zoldyick family and out of all the phantom troupe to fight the greatest fight and opponent of his life(chimera ant arc), with the fate of the verse on the line Netero who most likely knows the depth and strength of each member of the Z family, Netero also most likely knows the depth of the troupe as well, because he already knows the ability and power of Hisoka and didn't even view Hisoka as a threat before the ant arc, the reason why this is extremely glaring is because pre ant arc Netero is vastly weaker than warmed up Netero who was ready to fight the royal guard and the king himself, considering that Hisoka is extremely relative to Chrollo as well, with a slight edge to Hisoka imo. My vote would definitely go Zeno convincingly.
I'm actually impressed at how Kurapika got outed by Knuckle given that he was smacking Uvogin physically before going 100%, and managed to kill both him, Paku and put Chrollo into trouble, all of this after 6 months of learning and training Nen. Dude was already in par with the 14th place so early in the show only by the Emperor Time enhancement boost, and with the newly acquired Steal Chain (a great upgrade over Chain Jail) and Stealth Dolphin, he can disarm any opponent he faces.
Tbh Kurapika SHOULD be on the list but I could not for the life of me decided WHERE on the list. Could he have beaten Uvogin if not for the fact Uvogin is a troupe member? Should he be above Morel? These questions made me question how to explain him in a ranking video. There will be an in-depth Kurapika video next week
Kurapika should be on this list but he’s in no way shape or form on par with Uvogin when it comes to fighting non troop members. We have never seen him outclass any high caliber fighter even in the succession war

I don't think there is any way Adult Gon is stronger than Netero if we were to put them against one another, it's not just the gap in intelligence and analytical skill between Meruem and Gon (which is huge to begin with) that would prevent Gon from beating Netero, it's just that Gon doesn't have nearly as much durability as Meruem. Meruem is a litteral tank, Gon's anatomy isn't remotely similar. Gon might never figure out how to break Netero's defenses first of all but also even if he was as smart as Meruem he would have died long before Meruem started to feel the dullest aches of pain from Netero's strikes in their face-off.
I think that’s a decent point in a 1v1 but generally speaking gon is still way above him in terms of physical abilities which I think is enough for him to be higher

Same way God speed Killua can't just execute every human fighter just because he's quicker than them, characters who have much higher aura are literally harder to pierce. Thousands of hits from Netero's statue and all his aura couldn't cause serious damage to Meruem. Gon would simply outlast Netero since Gon and Meruem aren't far enough away, durability wise, for Netero to be able to kill him.

Nothing points to that I'm 100% sure, Adult Gon has 0 durability feat he actually has the opposite by having his arm cut off by Pitou (even if willingly) and Meruem isn't just durable because of nen but because of his chimera ants king anatomy. Also on the "outlast" Netero, in what way? Meruem didn't outlast Netero, he pierced his defences, they have pointed at the fact that Netero's stamina is off the chart (because of his training mostly) so it was probably the only outcome and adult Gon doesn't come close to matching the intellect of the king.
Good video! Razor is probably the weirdest character when comparing him to others, so an honorable mention is definitely fitting for him alongside the Zodiacs imo. It depends on how much you think Razor being in charge of all of the emissive systems on Greed Island (or at the very least "most spells" as Chapter 145 put it) nerfed his abilities, what with creating the Nen Devils for the volleyball game alone significantly nerfing him before fusing the Devils back into himself. He could be absolutely insane if you highball him, but I highly doubt we'll be seeing much of him again if at all to really know lmao. Just a minor point for the Chrollo section that doesn't really change too much, but it should be noted that the 'Ben's Knife' Chrollo used wasn't really comparable to a normal/"standard" poison knife that he just infused Nen into as you implied a couple times during that section. Each knife was noted to be a masterpiece in design, had Silva himself note how the knife must be good if it could cut him, and had Post-Mortem Nen that could be sensed by Gon and Killua, after all.
Kurapika is being underestimated here. The only chain restricted to the Phantom Troupe is Chain Jail. He can use, for example, Judgement Chain and Steal Chain on everyone, and both are instant win conditions. Ofc is not that easy to hit the target, but Kurapika is one of the most intelligent characters on the series, and he's shown himself to be pretty tricky with the set up for his chains. Also Emperor Time is quite busted, as he was able to hang with Uvo, a beast enhancer, for a bit while being a specialist (furthest away from enhancing). Also his enhancing buffed by ET showed to make his Holy Chain really effective aswell, since he healed a shattered arm in seconds. He would win without much trouble against Knuckles imo, and could fight with every character of the top 15 (Killua godspeed is quite tricky, cause I think Killua would assassinate him in seconds lol)
You lost me when you put Killua above Feitan. Not only does it not make sense, it wouldn't even be realistic within the way Togashi writes the story. Killua at his peak should be 17th. There's literally nothing Killua could do against Feitan, Morel, or Kite. They all outlast his godspeed ability and deal with what's remaining fairly easily. His power is efficient and great at aiding his survival, but it's not the greatest offensive ability and definitely not enough to handle intelligent nen users like those three before him specifically.
Togashi has in no way indicated Killua is weaker than Feitan by the Chimera Ant Arc. He rips through Officer Ants with his bare hands, way more efficiently and easily than the other troupe members do, and with Godspeed rips literal chunks out of Pouf’s body. He’d blitz Feitan so bad he can’t see, do serious damage with every single attack, and by the time Godspeed runs out, Feitan will not look good assuming he’s even alive. From there Killua could just stop all of Feitan’s attacks with lightning bolts that can paralyze Royal Guards. Feitan’s intellect is also wildly overrated. He has never won a battle using his intelligence, Killua has

@@Professor_Fiction I’d agree if half the top tiers, and a significant number of mid tier fighters can accidentally counter Killua by taking time to explain their technique, over analyzing and strategizing to fight Killua, and using techniques that don’t require movement, or require standing still entirely. Morel hard counters Killua since most of his fights consist of him staying in a single spot and analyzing his opponents. Same with kite who most the time just picks a weapon and stands still to find an opening. And if both of them are able to counter whirlwind effortlessly, and Feiten is equal to them (by your list’s interpretation) then he’d by category be above Killua just by association. And it makes sense for a multitude of reasons. He doesn’t counter the same way the other 2 do, but he should have superior stats to Killua when it comes to nen combat. Since he has more nen experience and training, realistically speaking, he has higher aura quantity, and likely output. Meaning that his nen defenses > Killua’s nen offense, because they’re both transmuters with only 80% proficiency in enhancement, which as explained by biscuit in GI, means the offense would be ineffective. Even assuming that just means his hits do half the damage, it wouldn’t be enough to instantly beat him, and it would just deal damage. And as damage accumulated on Feiten, pain packer becomes stronger. And there’s 0 argument that Killua would survive being hit by rising sun, and likely any other pain packer variants.
Pretty good list but I always thought of Morel as higher than the troupe and Hisoka. I think he deserves closer to the top 10. His nen ability is unbelievably versatile, he defeated multiple Royal Guard-amped Squadron Leaders, and all while he was running on fumes after doing weeks worth of hit and run reconnaissance for Netero in the NGL. Dude is an absolute menace.
My gut says Kite should be higher but man’s just got too many unknowns in his arsenal and not many feats, I would be curious to know how big a boost nen gave to the ants physicals as, Zazan pushed Feitan to at bare minimum mid diff (I’d argue high personally) meanwhile Kite one shot Yunji, like even with nen I can’t see Yunji giving Kite anywhere close to the trouble Zazan gave Feitan, and given just how strong Pitou is I find it hard to believe that someone scaling to just above a squadron ant with nen would be enough make them that excited But again that’s just my gut feeling that Kite and Feitan should not be comparable I ain’t got any actual feats to back it up 😅 Also love how Uvo above Feitan is being preached never understood why so many people thought Feitan was stronger just bizarre to em Overall very solid list
found your channel recently and im loving your videos. curious to where you think base gon scales also adult gons speed is really underrated. he could perception blitz pitou who was able to follow netero's movements plus gons supposed to have bottomless potential so itd make no sense for netero to be faster than him when he reaches his full potential.

@@Professor_Fiction when gon evaded him the first time they looked around for a bit which would imply they didn't see where he went. we do know the compressed time thing happens to gon. when he speaks to killua the narrator describes the scene in a similar way as when netero blitzed pitou. except they said there wasn't enough time to blink in the gon example while the narrator described the netero scene as a blink of an eye.
I’d say Razor is definitely above Knuckle, doesn’t Greed Island run on his Nen? If so he’s pretty much never at 100% and seemed pretty confident on confronting the Phantom Troupe plus he’s got that energy blast which seem pretty destructive.
Unfortunately for Kite, at the time of his feats the Squadron Leaders hadn’t learned how to use Nen yet, meaning those leaders should be weaker than Zazan, Cheetu and peak Leol for example
Excellent ranking, almost exactly how I'd rank them. My only objection is I think Kurapika should've made the list. The only ability he has that can only be used against Troupe members is Chain Jail. Even without that, I'd still say he's comfortably within the top half of the list. Physically, he was on par with 50% Uvogin with the Scarlet Eyes, and kept pace with him even at 100% in terms of speed. He was also confident threatening one of the Zodiac's and said he'd have no problem killing him if he had to. Combine that with his extremely deep pool of abilities, I think he'd rank above Chrollo and Hisoka.
Hey Professor Fiction, could you do a video on who could be “Nen Masters”? And we know the concept is real since Togashi has confirmed 7 of them. I think this is a topic worthy video, every time I see HxH videos I think “how Hisoka could be a master Nen User” because of after his Heaven’s Arena fight against Chrollo, he had access to a post mortem ability, which unlike other post mortem nen users he knew about it, and just going against Chrollo head to head is a big deal. It would make sense because he has a simple ability and he’s proven his masterful technique (in this context not saying this exactly makes him a master nen user). It’s interesting to note Chrollo wasn’t considered a master nen user by Togashi, but I think it’s because he PURELY doesn’t own his own style. It’s also interesting how Adult Gon is considered a master nen user over the latter. Anyway, hoping this turns into a video, and Hisoka is on the list because I feel like next time Hisoka needs to use a large amount of his power he will have more and more masterful than ever. Or we will see him use it on Dark Continent enemies.
In no particular order, I think this list is a pretty objective list. The only things that I could find arguable are the bottom characters and maybe characters that didn’t make it in but pretty much everyone who should’ve been in here is in here.

I think Knuckle was stronger than normal Gon(aside from rage boost) so he’d unfortunately not be on the list but he’d probably crack the top 30 for sure

Even if there is some Nen user out there stronger than Netero, we just don’t know who that is, it COULD be Ging, it COULD be Maha, it COULD be some dude we’ve never seen before

Saying Ging is top 5 doesn’t put Ging above Netero. Netero never said “I’m not top 5 anymore” he just said “I’m not the strongest anymore” but we don’t know who Netero rates above him. This is before Netero trains to get back into shape, and Knov says later Netero is underestimating himself. I personally theorize Netero was lying because he secretly wanted Meruem to be born to be the fighter of his dream, which explains why he was so relaxed during the Chimera Ant Arc. Ok ummm Illumi put a nen needle in Killuas head that forced him to flee if he couldn’t win. To keep him safe. He didn’t “teach” it to him. Nothing to do with ilumi doing the same for himself. Doesn’t really change the outcome of hisoka vs Illumi, but an important distinction in terms of plot has character. It’s kind of part of killuas journey. So it’s important to get that correct.

Decent list tbh. Everybody seems to be in the tier that they fit best in. However I don’t understand how Hisoka got ranked so high. He’s physically superior to chrollo. And? That’s not necessarily impressive. Do you really think he’d beat zeno? Someone just as smart if not smarter with more experience. Same goes with Silva. Especially if Hisoka thinks illumi is a good fight. I literally just cannot see Hisoka beating zeno whatsoever. Hisoka nd illumi at the bottom of that tier with zeno chrollo nd Silva at top. Also kil seems to lack ap feats so he’d be a bit lower on the list for me. Other than that good job
Hisoka’s feats are against a more serious, and stronger Chrollo than the one who fought Silva. The feats Hisoka has in that fight are just better than what Zeno did. Zeno only ever fought a half serious, not bloodlusted and 0 prep Chrollo, while Chrollo was trying as hard as he possibly could to defeat Hisoka. Hisoka’s ability to no sell attacks from Chrollo and tagging him and drawing blood with simple attacks is much better than Zeno or Silva who only drew blood with a small cut to the cheek, and otherwise Chrollo blocked or dodged absolutely every attack, even in 2 on 1. And I think Hisoka’s feats of intelligence are at least on a comparable level

He was trying to capture their abilities, that doesn’t imply that he wasn’t fighting seriously, just that he wasn’t bloodlusted. And also keep in mind zeno and Silva were fighting cautiously from the beginning too. Zeno was using that time to analyze chrollo. Silva even notes to be cautious, and it’s a part of their nature to only make moves that gurantee victory. Like literally once they made up their mind to kill him they just ragdoll him. It’s disingenuous to say in the beginning they were going all out nd he was going half speed. There’s absolutely no way that statement u mentioned was saying chrollo is above both zeno and Silva together. He even admits a simple Ko punch from zeno is too much for his defenses. The only thing chrollo actually does in this battle is scratch Silva. Like the only thing lol
imo I think Zeno would beat Chrollo because the zoldycks only consider a 90% chance to win winning odds while 50/50 is a losing battle. Plus, the strongest hunter being Netero went to Zeno to help beat Meruem when he could have gone to any other hunter.
I believe you wildly undererstimate Morel. He has an amazing hatsu and arguably the highest fight IQ outside of Chrollo, Hisoka or Netero. Killua above Kite or Feitan is really strange but above Morel is just plain wrong, especially because Morels ability matches up really well against speedsters and baseline Killua should be absolutely no match for either of the three, but especially Morel, who is kind of known as a statchecker.
Killua is way above the Troupe at this point. He just speed blitzes them to death. None of them can react to him on Godspeed and he'll just rip their hearts out Killua vs Pouf's clone is an accurate example of what it would be like for anyone on the troupes level to fight him The only reason Youpi survived was cause his aura output is so huge that it negated most of the damage
For half the troupe we don‘t even know their abilities. Every hint we get for Nobunagas abilities suggests to me that their is a good chance he could react to speedsters. Same with Feitan. Sphinx and Franclin unclear, since we don‘t know if they have an any other Hatsu but okay, there is a good chance they don‘t. Machi clearly has a very versatile ability and the way the story is written, constantly emphasising nen experience and clever applications, I am certain, that she would find a way to counter Killiua. Same with Chrollo. Also let‘s not forget, that it is basically confirmed that Killua in the CA Arc still is nowhere near the top Hunters in terms auta quantity so there is a good chance, that even if they don‘t have a counter hatsu ready, they could just outlast his godspeed. And that is all just in case he gets the jump on them. How about if they are the ones attacking? Good chance Killua couldn‘t survive an attack by any of them except maybe Shizuko. Na man, if anything godspeed allows Killua to fight on somewhat even footing with the average member of the troupe, not outclassing anyone an probably still being significantly disadvantaged against the top fighters.
Fair position, I think Gon vs Netero is a good debate, it just depends on what your idea of “stronger” is. In my head, I think Gon just has a much much better chance of beating Meruem, so it’s like a rock paper scissors matchup

At the insane speed Netero fights with 100-type GB, Gon will not have a split second to even think of charging JJK. It's constantly stated that Gon's JJK puts himself in a vulnerable position due to the charging time and the sudden discharge of aura. Don't even try to say Gon can match Netero and Meruem in speed. You'll lose a lot of credibility. So, if Netero has a balanced ability in terms and attack and DEFENSE and is also FASTER THAN GON, how's Gon gonna win? Break it down logically and not with feelings.

Listen gang the fact u don’t understand that kurapika isn’t someone only strong against the phantom is insane. Read as much as you like the only nen condition he had for the troupe was chain jail. His raw nen and enhancement was CLOWNING on 50% UVO 50! And he has been stated to have gotten stronger and learned more about nen. He can heal quickly. Steal hatsu powers and nen, and judgement chain is legit a one shot. If he hits it he just has to say kill yourself and if they don’t they die anyway.
I didn’t say he’s only strong against the Phantom Troupe I just said ranking him is difficult. Uvogin is literally just straight up physically stronger than Kurapika is. Also if Judgement Chain was that good in a fight what’s the point of having Chain Jail?

Bruh you have to rank kurapika. Especially because you said you’re taking into consideration all the way up until Ch.400 which by then Kurapika has a ton of new abilities, which aren’t only applicable to the spiders. Kurapika is elite at this point, top 10 easily.

It’s the Yuyu Hakusho guide, Hxh section. I’m mainly using the guide as supporting evidence it’s not my main source, which I think is the safest way to use it. This is why I didn’t want to rank Biscuit despite her high stats, it’s just not consistent
The biggest eye disagree of here is Killua being so high. At least in raw strength. I do believe he could speed blitz most people, but most is not all. Adult Gone see I personally would put them on the level of the RG at least. Because I do not think that Pitou was talking about his raw power or even his abilities. I believe she was talking about his resolve and determination. That’s what scared her. She was caught frozen by that which is what allowed her to be killed. I believe he’s a bit lower than the RG. If not at least on an equal playing field I don’t think he’s stronger than any of the three of them. And I certainly don’t think he’s a match for Isaac at all. con how zero hand forced kill to run the Frick away and he didn’t do that for his friend. I think that says something in terms of power at least.
I agree with most of the list, but there it's a problem. Hunters fights will be a russian gunshot, most of the time. Each one of them can kill others at the smallest mistake. That's the interesting part. Knov can one shot absolute ANYONE if he gets them. That's just an example, but all are deadly on their own, and there isn't "that invincible" thing. Anything can go down, somehow. The ones that lives are the ones that pay attention. Humbleness it's a key.
That’s why I prefaced at the start, for the most part it’s possible for many of these characters to win against each other depending on the circumstances, being higher just means you are probably overall a bit better
Don Freecs has the best feat in the series by a comical margin, surviving in the dark continent for hundreds of years when Netero gave up after like a week or something and there's bigger threats than the Chimera ants there from the very little that the V5 Nations know about it. He has to be #1

kurapika should definently be in here, hes insanely strong right now. hes one of the smartest people in the entire series which is what makes him so strong, hes only 19 and put a complete standstill by himself in the succession war, this list honestly needs alot of fixing because how is kite below killua? and you put uvogin in the number 14 while kurapika beat him when he just learned nen after 6 months and killed pakunoda and also gave chrollo problems. and is much stronger than he was back then and would absolutely mop the floor with uvogin right now. and with how killua is right now after chimera ant he wouldnt even be able to beat uvogin but kurapika isnt in the top 20 as of now? also feitan below killua , knuckle in the top 20 but not kurpika. list needs alot of fixing , id put kurapika around 12th as of now. emperor time just makes him broken. also him being able to have chrollos ability (dolphin chain) but worse while also having emperors time and his other chains makes him absolutely busted. i think hes the strongest of the 4 mcs , if someone is stronger than kurapika then they are are absolutely busted usually. these are the only characters i would put above kurapika as of now from my memory: chrollo (he would beat him in a 1v1), hisoka , illumi, silva and zeno , the guards , netero and beyond , ging , adult gon if you wanna count him , and thats honestly it. there is probably some stronger ones that we havent seen yet like pariston but as of now id put him only behind these characters. very maybe stronger than illumi but need to see more of him in this arc to truly assess that. also one more thing i want to quickly note, people always mix this up with kurapika but he is not any weaker against normal people than against the troupe!!! he only loses 1 chain which is the judgement chain he can use everything else completely fine.
How can gon be higher than netero ? Gon can't get close to netero since netero can almost stop time and gon doesn't have the brain of meruem. He will get clap until his power boost end. In fact, he's not as durable as base meruem since he lost an arm to pitou (even though she was boosted by her death). There is no way he can handle netero's cannon specially the 0. Adult gon is peak enhancement. But netero was peak enhancement + a nen power way more developed than a simple jajanken + the ability to slow time. Even past his prime he still have slow time and his nen ability. Adult gon has only a basic use of nen.
Bruh Gon has arguably the best speedshowing in the whole series, the way he handled Pitou. Plus Meruem deliberatly didn‘t go all in because he couldn‘t kill Netero, pretty much claiming that it could be a short affair if he would try to kill him. There is a really, really good chance, that Gon could just speedblitz Netero.
There Is absolutely no chance that gon was faster than meruem. At best he is close. I remind you that the translation he is as strong as the king is false. In the manga she say he might put His claws on the king meaning she see him as a treat the same way she saw netero as a treat in the air. So he can't be faster. Now meruem didn't want to kill netero but it was still hard to get close specially the first time. Gon doesn't have the brain of meruem he would never get close not a single time

Also Netero doesn‘t slow down time, people witnessing his speed experience time compression which illustrates just how fast Neteros Guanyin is but would happen for every object/character of similar speed. Curiously when Gon first vanished After Pitous attack they didn’t realize Gon moved at all, which would be a far, far, far more impressive showing, which I won’t take for face value because it happens right in the middle of Gons transformation, where it i hard to tell what is really happening and what is for reader/viewer enjoyment. All I am saying is that we barely have an idea how powerful Netero is and because Gon murdered Pitou with zero diff, we have no idea by how much Gon outclasses them. What we do know for a fact that the only creature that witnessed both, saw Gon as much more powerful. So in conclusion, there is definetly more than „no chance“ that Gon beats Netero and possibly even a very high probability, depending on what feats you consider.

Also it would be very fair to say, that considering that high tier ants outdo them both in pretty much any other physical characteristic, Pitous perception should be a lot faster than Neteros and especially Zenos. 2) Tha would be true if the game was „get close to Netero“ but it wasn‘t. Meruem injuring Netero in a not lethal way or straight killing him are very different questions. Imagine Meruem had to rule out every attack, that might kill Netero, how many could that be? He pretty much had to rule out any attack on head and torso and also attacks where he could accidentally hit these parts, so lets say that already accounts for more than 50% of opportunities. Then there are an infinte amount of other possibilities Meruem might have ruled because he deemed them to dangerous, because as you explained he recognizes much more details and possibilities than any human. So that alone cuts the opportunities in 4 (very generously might I add) if not much, much more. 3) The next point is pretty much your head canon only, because nothing suggests, that Netero would physically be anywhere close to Pitou (in fact everybody that saw them both agreed, that Pitou outclasses him) and the only reason why you could have him above Pitou is his Nen proficiency. Now that alone should tell you, that statwise Gon absolutely, positivly outclasses Netero, since Gon absolutely no diffed them. Also yes, thats how Hatsus work, they are usually not an expression of „Just one affinity“ but something more. Guess what, Gons Jajanken also isn‘t pure enhancement. kurapika is not losing to killua. If kurapika has emperor time i see no way in him losing. He was with no effort beating uvogin and remember the only abilty kurapika can only use on troope members is chainjail and even without chain jail he was mid diffing uvogin. emperor time is really broken he can heal whenever he can steal abilties like chrollo. 100% enhancment is really broken. I would put kurapika higen then uvogin but lower then silva and kick out the guy in the 20 place forgot his name
Kurapika should be below illumi, kite and maybe razor I dont't think killua can beat Kite and the troupe's top tiers, and gon should be above Knuckle, he got a upgrade in the palace invasion according to killua Also hisoka can't beat Zeno and Silva, since he got his fingers obliterated by a nerfed Razor(he is weaker when using his 14 devils)

Context surrounds that fight, Chrollo literally admits he’s never tried as hard in any battle before that, than he did on Hisoka. He used more abilities on Hisoka than anyone ever before, he cherry picked the exact location for his plan to work, and he developed a whole new ability just for this battle. In Yorknew Chrollo fought the Zoldycks 2 on 1, had 0 prep, couldn’t select the exact location, and was not trying to kill them the entire time. He was trying to steal their abilities, and only used one stolen power of his own, yet Hisoka showed much better feats of hand to hand despite all that

I really hate powerscaling in hxh. There is a lack of fights, different ways characters can win. But this just makes me love the series more

nen fights are much more rock paper scissors or case by case. for instance uvogin has incredible aura and one of the stronger enhancers that has been shown but gets bodied by kurapika due to the fact that kurapika is a specialist when his eyes turn scarlet. but yea thats why the show is so great

It's rare for me to agree with power ranking tier list for my favorite series and honestly I agree with everything except Ging which is just because we have no info on him. Also THANK YOU for putting Netero above the royal guards, you can argue he wouldn't be able to damage them but even then he just ties them at worst, he'll slap them into the horizon and get away, none of them surpass his speed to damage him in any way

In chrollo's case, in his fight against hisoka, a lot of h x h fans forget one important aspect of chrollo and nen in general. That being that chrollo is a specialist, meaning that he doesn't have access to any enhancement, like at all. Mean while, hisoka, being a transmuter, has access to enhancement, which explains why, whenever hisoka got up close to chrollo, he was the superior fighter.

That's not true. Specialists have a weird spread of nen affinity percentages. Some could be 80% and some could be 40% in enhancement.

The only chain restricted to the Phantom Troupe is chain jail - he can use judgement chain and steal chain/stealth dolphin, for example, on everyone, and both are instant wins (as judgement chain enforces a condition determined by Kurapika and steal chain enforces zetsu after the hatsu of the victim is stolen). And Emperor Time proved to be pretty effective against Uvo, as he was able to hang for a bit on hand to hand combat with one of the best enhancers of the series and heal his broken arm within seconds (due to the buff on enhancement from Emperor Time). And Kurapika is also one of the most intelligent characters. Imo he would win with relative ease against Knuckles, for example.

Beyond has to be guaranteed top 5 I think. There’s only one character in the series who’s been to the Dark continent twice. That’s his father Issac. Beyond has been once and wants to go back again. They are built different.
I think with Skill Chain and Stealth Dolphin, in addition to the stat buffs to 100% proficiency with Emperor Time, Kurapika would fall somewhere in the Zoldycks/Hisoka/Chrollo range

Adult Gon isnt beating Netero simply bcs he doesnt have enough experience or durability to tank his buddha like Meruem did, and he only managed to do that bcs of his extreme durability.
Experience matter very little like with Meruem, his physical stats should be enough.
Honestly adult Gon is so hard to rank, because his only showing was a no diff fight. To me the way he *outclassed* Pitou, especially speedwise looked was an even more impressive combat fest than either Netero or Meruem have displayed. Also Meruem fought Netero with the handicap of not wanting to kill him, while his thoughts implied that he he could have ended it at every moment otherwise. I believe there is a good chance that adult Gon can overwhelme Netero by stats alone, maybe even speedblitz him.

You clearly don't understand how fast the fight between Netero and Meruem was. And the argument of Meruem not wanting to kill Netero is weak AF. Meruem went all out against Netero and Netero was still able to block his OP attacks. Everything is not about attack especially in HxH. Defense is also very crucial...and we know Gon doesn't have solid defensive moves in his arsenal. With that said, if Netero uses his 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva which is perfectly balanced in attack and defense, what's Gon gonna do? 😂 Remember he got his arm chopped off and was bleeding. At least, Netero was capable of sealing his wounds. Gon is basically an OP version of Uvogin.
You also talked about Netero not doing damage to Pitou, again, another weak argument. Netero had no intention of fighting Pitou and had already predetermined the matchups. His attack was to push Pitou as far back as possible.

2) How is that working out in your head? Do you imagine Meruem going 100% against Netero to go through his defense and then taking a second to look for an opportunity for not lethal force? Of course not, Meruem would have to rule out every possiblity of death before even attempting to break through, that could mean ruling out more than 80% of opportunities that Meruem saw, that result in the death of Netero, again, we do not know exactly, we just know Meruem considered it a massive handicap.
3) The only time we see Gon get injured it is by post mortem nen of a royal guard, do you realise how hard that is to quantify in the first place? The way post mortem nen is described it would not shock me if Pitou was boosted by the factor 4 or more, which again could mean that attack could have even killed Meruem. Again we do know nothing. Also it is very possible that Gon could have avoided the attack if he deemed it necessary, he just didn‘t because Pitou was already dead.
4) Also why do you imagine Gon and Netero fighting the same way as Netero and Meruem, when we have never seen two similar fights. The King and Meruem played a game, they both enjoyed the challenge, thats one big reason why that fight even happend that way. We have no idea how a fight between Gon and Netero could go, how do you know Gon wouldn‘t use his emission hatsu? How do you know Gon couldn‘t just throw out en so powerful it incapacitates Netero? It does Sound strange but when the raw stats are that lopsided can you really rule it out?
4) I don‘t really care if you have Netero beating Gon, my point is it is very much a close call in Neteros favour and possibly an easy stomp in Gons favour, so I know how I would rank them.

Thank you for placing Netero above the royal gaurds. There are so many fans who for some reason think Netero is weaker than the royal gaurds.
I think Zeno is stronger than Hisoka, Chrollo and Silva. Only by the simple fact that Netero brought and hired Zeno out of all the Zoldyick family and out of all the phantom troupe to fight the greatest fight and opponent of his life(chimera ant arc), with the fate of the verse on the line Netero who most likely knows the depth and strength of each member of the Z family, Netero also most likely knows the depth of the troupe as well, because he already knows the ability and power of Hisoka and didn't even view Hisoka as a threat before the ant arc, the reason why this is extremely glaring is because pre ant arc Netero is vastly weaker than warmed up Netero who was ready to fight the royal guard and the king himself, considering that Hisoka is extremely relative to Chrollo as well, with a slight edge to Hisoka imo. My vote would definitely go Zeno convincingly.

I'm actually impressed at how Kurapika got outed by Knuckle given that he was smacking Uvogin physically before going 100%, and managed to kill both him, Paku and put Chrollo into trouble, all of this after 6 months of learning and training Nen.
Dude was already in par with the 14th place so early in the show only by the Emperor Time enhancement boost, and with the newly acquired Steal Chain (a great upgrade over Chain Jail) and Stealth Dolphin, he can disarm any opponent he faces.
Tbh Kurapika SHOULD be on the list but I could not for the life of me decided WHERE on the list. Could he have beaten Uvogin if not for the fact Uvogin is a troupe member? Should he be above Morel? These questions made me question how to explain him in a ranking video. There will be an in-depth Kurapika video next week
Kurapika should be on this list but he’s in no way shape or form on par with Uvogin when it comes to fighting non troop members. We have never seen him outclass any high caliber fighter even in the succession war

I don't think there is any way Adult Gon is stronger than Netero if we were to put them against one another, it's not just the gap in intelligence and analytical skill between Meruem and Gon (which is huge to begin with) that would prevent Gon from beating Netero, it's just that Gon doesn't have nearly as much durability as Meruem.
Meruem is a litteral tank, Gon's anatomy isn't remotely similar.
Gon might never figure out how to break Netero's defenses first of all but also even if he was as smart as Meruem he would have died long before Meruem started to feel the dullest aches of pain from Netero's strikes in their face-off.

Same way God speed Killua can't just execute every human fighter just because he's quicker than them, characters who have much higher aura are literally harder to pierce. Thousands of hits from Netero's statue and all his aura couldn't cause serious damage to Meruem. Gon would simply outlast Netero since Gon and Meruem aren't far enough away, durability wise, for Netero to be able to kill him.

Nothing points to that I'm 100% sure, Adult Gon has 0 durability feat he actually has the opposite by having his arm cut off by Pitou (even if willingly) and Meruem isn't just durable because of nen but because of his chimera ants king anatomy. Also on the "outlast" Netero, in what way? Meruem didn't outlast Netero, he pierced his defences, they have pointed at the fact that Netero's stamina is off the chart (because of his training mostly) so it was probably the only outcome and adult Gon doesn't come close to matching the intellect of the king.

Razor is probably the weirdest character when comparing him to others, so an honorable mention is definitely fitting for him alongside the Zodiacs imo. It depends on how much you think Razor being in charge of all of the emissive systems on Greed Island (or at the very least "most spells" as Chapter 145 put it) nerfed his abilities, what with creating the Nen Devils for the volleyball game alone significantly nerfing him before fusing the Devils back into himself. He could be absolutely insane if you highball him, but I highly doubt we'll be seeing much of him again if at all to really know lmao.
Just a minor point for the Chrollo section that doesn't really change too much, but it should be noted that the 'Ben's Knife' Chrollo used wasn't really comparable to a normal/"standard" poison knife that he just infused Nen into as you implied a couple times during that section. Each knife was noted to be a masterpiece in design, had Silva himself note how the knife must be good if it could cut him, and had Post-Mortem Nen that could be sensed by Gon and Killua, after all.

Kurapika is being underestimated here. The only chain restricted to the Phantom Troupe is Chain Jail. He can use, for example, Judgement Chain and Steal Chain on everyone, and both are instant win conditions. Ofc is not that easy to hit the target, but Kurapika is one of the most intelligent characters on the series, and he's shown himself to be pretty tricky with the set up for his chains. Also Emperor Time is quite busted, as he was able to hang with Uvo, a beast enhancer, for a bit while being a specialist (furthest away from enhancing). Also his enhancing buffed by ET showed to make his Holy Chain really effective aswell, since he healed a shattered arm in seconds. He would win without much trouble against Knuckles imo, and could fight with every character of the top 15 (Killua godspeed is quite tricky, cause I think Killua would assassinate him in seconds lol)
You lost me when you put Killua above Feitan. Not only does it not make sense, it wouldn't even be realistic within the way Togashi writes the story. Killua at his peak should be 17th. There's literally nothing Killua could do against Feitan, Morel, or Kite. They all outlast his godspeed ability and deal with what's remaining fairly easily. His power is efficient and great at aiding his survival, but it's not the greatest offensive ability and definitely not enough to handle intelligent nen users like those three before him specifically.
Killua is already physically pretty close to feitan, if he landed a hundred hits on him before Feitan could defend himself, he's fucked.
Togashi has in no way indicated Killua is weaker than Feitan by the Chimera Ant Arc. He rips through Officer Ants with his bare hands, way more efficiently and easily than the other troupe members do, and with Godspeed rips literal chunks out of Pouf’s body. He’d blitz Feitan so bad he can’t see, do serious damage with every single attack, and by the time Godspeed runs out, Feitan will not look good assuming he’s even alive. From there Killua could just stop all of Feitan’s attacks with lightning bolts that can paralyze Royal Guards. Feitan’s intellect is also wildly overrated. I’d agree if half the top tiers, and a significant number of mid tier fighters can accidentally counter Killua by taking time to explain their technique, over analyzing and strategizing to fight Killua, and using techniques that don’t require movement, or require standing still entirely. Morel hard counters Killua since most of his fights consist of him staying in a single spot and analyzing his opponents. Same with kite who most the time just picks a weapon and stands still to find an opening. And if both of them are able to counter whirlwind effortlessly, and Feiten is equal to them (by your list’s interpretation) then he’d by category be above Killua just by association. And it makes sense for a multitude of reasons.
He doesn’t counter the same way the other 2 do, but he should have superior stats to Killua when it comes to nen combat. Since he has more nen experience and training, realistically speaking, he has higher aura quantity, and likely output. Meaning that his nen defenses > Killua’s nen offense, because they’re both transmuters with only 80% proficiency in enhancement, which as explained by biscuit in GI, means the offense would be ineffective. Even assuming that just means his hits do half the damage, it wouldn’t be enough to instantly beat him, and it would just deal damage. And as damage accumulated on Feiten, pain packer becomes stronger. And there’s 0 argument that Killua would survive being hit by rising sun, and likely any other pain packer variants.

Pretty good list but I always thought of Morel as higher than the troupe and Hisoka. I think he deserves closer to the top 10.
His nen ability is unbelievably versatile, he defeated multiple Royal Guard-amped Squadron Leaders, and all while he was running on fumes after doing weeks worth of hit and run reconnaissance for Netero in the NGL. Dude is an absolute menace.
My gut says Kite should be higher but man’s just got too many unknowns in his arsenal and not many feats, I would be curious to know how big a boost nen gave to the ants physicals as, Zazan pushed Feitan to at bare minimum mid diff (I’d argue high personally) meanwhile Kite one shot Yunji, like even with nen I can’t see Yunji giving Kite anywhere close to the trouble Zazan gave Feitan, and given just how strong Pitou is I find it hard to believe that someone scaling to just above a squadron ant with nen would be enough make them that excited
But again that’s just my gut feeling that Kite and Feitan should not be comparable I ain’t got any actual feats to back it up 😅

we do know the compressed time thing happens to gon. when he speaks to killua the narrator describes the scene in a similar way as when netero blitzed pitou. except they said there wasn't enough time to blink in the gon example while the narrator described the netero scene as a blink of an eye.
I’d say Razor is definitely above Knuckle, doesn’t Greed Island run on his Nen? If so he’s pretty much never at 100% and seemed pretty confident on confronting the Phantom Troupe plus he’s got that energy blast which seem pretty destructive.

Excellent ranking, almost exactly how I'd rank them. My only objection is I think Kurapika should've made the list. The only ability he has that can only be used against Troupe members is Chain Jail. Even without that, I'd still say he's comfortably within the top half of the list. Physically, he was on par with 50% Uvogin with the Scarlet Eyes, and kept pace with him even at 100% in terms of speed. He was also confident threatening one of the Zodiac's and said he'd have no problem killing him if he had to. Combine that with his extremely deep pool of abilities, I think he'd rank above Chrollo and Hisoka.
Hey Professor Fiction, could you do a video on who could be “Nen Masters”? And we know the concept is real since Togashi has confirmed 7 of them.
I think this is a topic worthy video, every time I see HxH videos I think “how Hisoka could be a master Nen User” because of after his Heaven’s Arena fight against Chrollo, he had access to a post mortem ability, which unlike other post mortem nen users he knew about it, and just going against Chrollo head to head is a big deal. It would make sense because he has a simple ability and he’s proven his masterful technique (in this context not saying this exactly makes him a master nen user).
It’s interesting to note Chrollo wasn’t considered a master nen user by Togashi, but I think it’s because he PURELY doesn’t own his own style.
It’s also interesting how Adult Gon is considered a master nen user over the latter.
Anyway, hoping this turns into a video, and Hisoka is on the list because I feel like next time Hisoka needs to use a large amount of his power he will have more and more masterful than ever. Or we will see him use it on Dark Continent enemies.
In no particular order, I think this list is a pretty objective list. The only things that I could find arguable are the bottom characters and maybe characters that didn’t make it in but pretty much everyone who should’ve been in here is in here.

Saying Ging is top 5 doesn’t put Ging above Netero. Netero never said “I’m not top 5 anymore” he just said “I’m not the strongest anymore” but we don’t know who Netero rates above him. This is before Netero trains to get back into shape, and Knov says later Netero is underestimating himself. I personally theorize Netero was lying because he secretly wanted Meruem to be born to be the fighter of his dream, which explains why he was so relaxed during the Chimera Ant Arc. Nothing to do with ilumi doing the same for himself. Doesn’t really change the outcome of hisoka vs Illumi, but an important distinction in terms of plot has character. It’s kind of part of killuas journey. So it’s important to get that correct.

Hisoka’s feats are against a more serious, and stronger Chrollo than the one who fought Silva. The feats Hisoka has in that fight are just better than what Zeno did. Zeno only ever fought a half serious, not bloodlusted and 0 prep Chrollo, while Chrollo was trying as hard as he possibly could to defeat Hisoka. Hisoka’s ability to no sell attacks from Chrollo and tagging him and drawing blood with simple attacks is much better than Zeno or Silva who only drew blood with a small cut to the cheek, and otherwise Chrollo blocked or dodged absolutely every attack, even in 2 on 1. And I think Hisoka’s feats of intelligence are at least on a comparable level

And also keep in mind zeno and Silva were fighting cautiously from the beginning too. Zeno was using that time to analyze chrollo. Silva even notes to be cautious, and it’s a part of their nature to only make moves that gurantee victory. Like literally once they made up their mind to kill him they just ragdoll him. It’s disingenuous to say in the beginning they were going all out nd he was going half speed.
There’s absolutely no way that statement u mentioned was saying chrollo is above both zeno and Silva together. He even admits a simple Ko punch from zeno is too much for his defenses. The only thing chrollo actually does in this battle is scratch Silva. Like the only thing lol

imo I think Zeno would beat Chrollo because the zoldycks only consider a 90% chance to win winning odds while 50/50 is a losing battle. Plus, the strongest hunter being Netero went to Zeno to help beat Meruem when he could have gone to any other hunter.

I believe you wildly undererstimate Morel. He has an amazing hatsu and arguably the highest fight IQ outside of Chrollo, Hisoka or Netero. Killua above Kite or Feitan is really strange but above Morel is just plain wrong, especially because Morels ability matches up really well against speedsters and baseline Killua should be absolutely no match for either of the three, but especially Morel, who is kind of known as a statchecker.

For half the troupe we don‘t even know their abilities. Every hint we get for Nobunagas abilities suggests to me that their is a good chance he could react to speedsters. Same with Feitan. Sphinx and Franclin unclear, since we don‘t know if they have an any other Hatsu but okay, there is a good chance they don‘t. Machi clearly has a very versatile ability and the way the story is written, constantly emphasising nen experience and clever applications, I am certain, that she would find a way to counter Killiua. Same with Chrollo. Also let‘s not forget, that it is basically confirmed that Killua in the CA Arc still is nowhere near the top Hunters in terms auta quantity so there is a good chance, that even if they don‘t have a counter hatsu ready, they could just outlast his godspeed. And that is all just in case he gets the jump on them. How about if they are the ones attacking? Good chance Killua couldn‘t survive an attack by any of them except maybe Shizuko. Na man, if anything godspeed allows Killua to fight on somewhat even footing with the average member of the troupe, not outclassing anyone an probably still being significantly disadvantaged against the top fighters.
What about Botobai Gigante and Pariston? Not even honorable mention?

Listen gang the fact u don’t understand that kurapika isn’t someone only strong against the phantom is insane. Read as much as you like the only nen condition he had for the troupe was chain jail. His raw nen and enhancement was CLOWNING on 50% UVO 50! And he has been stated to have gotten stronger and learned more about nen. He can heal quickly. Steal hatsu powers and nen, and judgement chain is legit a one shot. If he hits it he just has to say kill yourself and if they don’t they die anyway.
I didn’t say he’s only strong against the Phantom Troupe I just said ranking him is difficult. Uvogin is literally just straight up physically stronger than Kurapika is. Also if Judgement Chain was that good in a fight what’s the point of having Chain Jail?

The biggest eye disagree of here is Killua being so high. At least in raw strength. I do believe he could speed blitz most people, but most is not all.
Adult Gone see I personally would put them on the level of the RG at least. Because I do not think that Pitou was talking about his raw power or even his abilities. I believe she was talking about his resolve and determination. That’s what scared her. She was caught frozen by that which is what allowed her to be killed. I believe he’s a bit lower than the RG. If not at least on an equal playing field I don’t think he’s stronger than any of the three of them. And I certainly don’t think he’s a match for Isaac at all. con how zero hand forced kill to run the Frick away and he didn’t do that for his friend. I think that says something in terms of power at least.
I agree with most of the list, but there it's a problem.
Hunters fights will be a russian gunshot, most of the time. Each one of them can kill others at the smallest mistake. That's the interesting part.
Knov can one shot absolute ANYONE if he gets them. That's just an example, but all are deadly on their own, and there isn't "that invincible" thing. Anything can go down, somehow. The ones that lives are the ones that pay attention. Humbleness it's a key.
That’s why I prefaced at the start, for the most part it’s possible for many of these characters to win against each other depending on the circumstances, being higher just means you are probably overall a bit better

emperor time just makes him broken. also him being able to have chrollos ability (dolphin chain) but worse while also having emperors time and his other chains makes him absolutely busted. i think hes the strongest of the 4 mcs , if someone is stronger than kurapika then they are are absolutely busted usually. these are the only characters i would put above kurapika as of now from my memory:
chrollo (he would beat him in a 1v1), hisoka , illumi, silva and zeno , the guards , netero and beyond , ging , adult gon if you wanna count him , and thats honestly it. there is probably some stronger ones that we havent seen yet like pariston but as of now id put him only behind these characters. very maybe stronger than illumi but need to see more of him in this arc to truly assess that.
also one more thing i want to quickly note, people always mix this up with kurapika but he is not any weaker against normal people than against the troupe!!! he only loses 1 chain which is the judgement chain he can use everything else completely fine.
How can gon be higher than netero ? Gon can't get close to netero since netero can almost stop time and gon doesn't have the brain of meruem. He will get clap until his power boost end. In fact, he's not as durable as base meruem since he lost an arm to pitou (even though she was boosted by her death). There is no way he can handle netero's cannon specially the 0.
Adult gon is peak enhancement. But netero was peak enhancement + a nen power way more developed than a simple jajanken + the ability to slow time. Even past his prime he still have slow time and his nen ability. Adult gon has only a basic use of nen.
Bruh Gon has arguably the best speedshowing in the whole series, the way he handled Pitou. Plus Meruem deliberatly didn‘t go all in because he couldn‘t kill Netero, pretty much claiming that it could be a short affair if he would try to kill him. There is a really, really good chance, that Gon could just speedblitz Netero.
There Is absolutely no chance that gon was faster than meruem. At best he is close. I remind you that the translation he is as strong as the king is false. In the manga she say he might put His claws on the king meaning she see him as a treat the same way she saw netero as a treat in the air. So he can't be faster.
Now meruem didn't want to kill netero but it was still hard to get close specially the first time. Gon doesn't have the brain of meruem he would never get close not a single time
@@djamelbenamara6748 Uhm, the saying doesn‘t in any way mean, he is weaker than the king either, from what we know it could range from „there is a one in a million chance Gon could put a scratch on Meruem“ to „if Meruem and Gon ever met the King would die“ and the answer is probably somewhere in between. What we do know is that when Pitou saw Netero they were at the very best mildly concerned but when they witnessed Gons transformation, they were completely frightenend. Also Pitou was in no way knowledgeble about what Gon had become, if we keep in mind that Meruem definetly outclasses them, Pitou probably couldn‘t accuratly asses the King either. I don‘t really get why you are bringing up a throwaway line from a character that has no way of accuratly assesing the power of Gon as hard facts. We have seen both Netero and Gon outspeeding Pitou I just said, that Gons outspeed seemed a lot more impressive (Pitou was a lot more amped up, the distance was much shorter, Gon seemed to have put in minimal in efford, in the anime not even showing aura activation). Plus Gon actually has a Hatsu, even an Emission hatsu, so the fight could be a lot different than Netero vs Meruem, plus Gon wouldn‘t show any restraint, plus we do not know if Meruem couldn‘t have broken Neteros defense much earlier if he could have gone for lethal attacks, which seems very, very likely to me. Also Netero doesn‘t slow down time, people witnessing his speed experience time compression which illustrates just how fast Neteros Guanyin is but would happen for every object/character of similar speed. Curiously when Gon first vanished After Pitous attack they didn’t realize Gon moved at all, which would be a far, far, far more impressive showing, which I won’t take for face value because it happens right in the middle of Gons transformation, where it i hard to tell what is really happening and what is for reader/viewer enjoyment. All I am saying is that we barely have an idea how powerful Netero is and because Gon murdered Pitou with zero diff, we have no idea by how much Gon outclasses them. What we do know for a fact that the only creature that witnessed both, saw Gon as much more powerful. So in conclusion, there is definetly more than „no chance“ that Gon beats Netero and possibly even a very high probability, depending on what feats you consider.

My point is gon is weaker than netero prime and even netero old. Gon is peak enhancement but with basic hatsu netero developed his hatsu in a way where he is no longer just enhancement and there is nothing in the manga that shows that gon is faster than meruem and faster than time slow by netero. But EVERYTHING in the manga shows that EVERYONE even meruem who is incredibly fast is very slow once netero activate his hatsu. And gon doesn't have meruem durability so netero kill him fast
@@djamelbenamara6748 1) That wasn‘t really a speed feat, since it is quite literally stated, that Meruem used the moment Netero and Zeno were distracted by Dr. Blythe to walk past them, so a speed feat was at best implied. Also it would be very fair to say, that considering that high tier ants outdo them both in pretty much any other physical characteristic, Pitous perception should be a lot faster than Neteros and especially Zenos.
2) Tha would be true if the game was „get close to Netero“ but it wasn‘t. Meruem injuring Netero in a not lethal way or straight killing him are very different questions. Imagine Meruem had to rule out every attack, that might kill Netero, how many could that be? He pretty much had to rule out any attack on head and torso and also attacks where he could accidentally hit these parts, so lets say that already accounts for more than 50% of opportunities. Then there are an infinte amount of other possibilities Meruem might have ruled because he deemed them to dangerous, because as you explained he recognizes much more details and possibilities than any human. So that alone cuts the opportunities in 4 (very generously might I add) if not much, much more.
3) The next point is pretty much your head canon only, because nothing suggests, that Netero would physically be anywhere close to Pitou (in fact everybody that saw them both agreed, that Pitou outclasses him) and the only reason why you could have him above Pitou is his Nen proficiency. Now that alone should tell you, that statwise Gon absolutely, positivly outclasses Netero, since Gon absolutely no diffed them. Also yes, thats how Hatsus work, they are usually not an expression of „Just one affinity“ but something more. Guess what, Gons Jajanken also isn‘t pure enhancement. Also, again Netero DOESN‘T SLOW TIME! The time compression is merely an expression of him being relatively superior to Pitou, a feat that Gon probably surpassed.
Netero > gon. Meruem only overcame Meruem because his intelligence. Not to mention gon is using borrowed power so Netero winning is all the more certain.
Your mistaken. Meruem didnt want to kill Netero and was trying not to. Gon punched a hole through post mortem nen Pitou whereas Netero used his nen ability yet she was unscathed. I think it is pretty obvious.

kurapika is not losing to killua. If kurapika has emperor time i see no way in him losing. He was with no effort beating uvogin and remember the only abilty kurapika can only use on troope members is chainjail and even without chain jail he was mid diffing uvogin. emperor time is really broken he can heal whenever he can steal abilties like chrollo. 100% enhancment is really broken. I would put kurapika higen then uvogin but lower then silva and kick out the guy in the 20 place forgot his name

Context surrounds that fight, Chrollo literally admits he’s never tried as hard in any battle before that, than he did on Hisoka. He used more abilities on Hisoka than anyone ever before, he cherry picked the exact location for his plan to work, and he developed a whole new ability just for this battle. In Yorknew Chrollo fought the Zoldycks 2 on 1, had 0 prep, couldn’t select the exact location, and was not trying to kill them the entire time. He was trying to steal their abilities, and only used one stolen power of his own, yet Hisoka showed much better feats of hand to hand despite all that
@@Professor_Fiction Yes Chrollo used more abilities than he's ever had to before but part of that is because he wanted to style on Hisoka. For example if Chrollo had used the benz knife vs Hisoka the fight wouldn't have lasted long at all.
