I don't think it would be a close fight. Dragon Ball used to be mostly a gag anime, Akira Toriyama made lots of crazy stuff happen just for a joke or two. Remember when Krillin and Jackie Chun (who surprisingly has the same abilities as Roshi, what happened to that guy anyways?) "Only took 0.2 seconds to throw many unsuccessful strikes, play RoShamBo and for Jackie Chun to trick Krillin into looking to the right" Speed (amd everything else) in Dragon Ball is very inconsistent, even worse if we take everything at face value, specially taking the OG Dragon Ball into account.
Master Roshi is definitely stronger but i don't know about him being "The Strongest" there's just too many animes out there, there has to be some character that is an old man that has some broken ability

The image at minute 15:13 does not contradict the interpretation that Bang and Flashy Flash are relative to each other? That is to say, Garou says that if he fights against Bong, Flashy Flash, Blast and Saitama in that order, he can recover part of his power. Since Garou increases his power by fighting against characters that put him in extreme situations, it certainly suggests that the order that Garou gives is based on power.
Yeah but like, they don't have to be magnitudes of times stronger than the former (aside from Blast and Saitama ofc) and Bang has better feats than Bomb so you can argue Garou's scaling isn't the most accurate.
@@jx8903 In fact, Murata has said, if I remember correctly, on two occasions that bomb is stronger than bang. Which I don't think contradicts what was shown in the manga, after all, Bomb fought, being weakened and only in the last attack was it serious. Furthermore, you must see a more or less notable difference so that garou sees the need to evolve.
If you were paying attention to the scene it was because: 1. Garou let his guard down believing metal bat was dead, and 2. Metal Bat gains more strength with the more damage he takes and he was clearly almost dead when he was about to hit Garou. Also Silver Fang is far above Garou at that point in the story.
I just want to say: If the G4 Genos cannot even beat the base form Kabuto but can actually harm Elder Centipede and hold his own for at least few minutes (which means Kabuto is stronger than Elder Centipede); how you can even say that Bang can beat Darkshine, ( since bang and bomb were about to get killed by Elder Centipede despite their ultimate combination and Darkshine can actually beat Carnage Mode Kabuto) let alone Flashy flash?
