There's more to it really. According to the manga which never aired, Jack truly found a new perspective for life after all of this. Having grown through all the hardships and after deciding to take on a different life, he even wondered how Aku created his seven daughters and even tried to do the same for himself by the simplest of methods because he just could not let go of Ashi. Using Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice, he planned on creating the perfect little girls...

@Juuwio wrong. You seem to forget something called "The butterfly effect". The further back in time you go, the more catastrophic the effects could be. Jack is literally transported back thousands of years, if not possibly millions. Do you know how much shit happens in just a year, let alone thousands? All it takes is one ancestor from the previous timeline NOT meeting their original spouse and generations of people never are born. It's called basic biology, which with how the western world has gone, I'll understand if you've never heard of it. Biology tells us that out DNA is coded from random selection of our parents DNA. Your mom might have said something like a previous boyfriend might have been your dad instead of your dad, but that's not how biology works. Without the EXACT two people who made you, you wouldn't be around, period.

Killing aku in the future and not the past is essentially willfully damning his parents and everyone else in his original time going forward for however long till he is originally dropped off. Jack isn’t that type of person, as we’ve seen many times over.
@@Wolf-bz6kq In the samurai jack the video game, there is alternate ending where Ashi does not cease to exist and gets to have a happy ending with jack.
Man, I'm almost 32 and this brought me back. Such beautiful and expressive characters and stories. A definitve work of true art and narrative.
After all these years...…after all these years. I finally know how it ends. Thanks for making this video.
My childhood hero summarized in 21 minutes. I remember the very first time Cartoon Network premiered the show. Thank you for taking the time to do this❤

Life is an endless series of trainwrecks with only brief, commercial-like breaks of happiness.

20:32 "WHAT you're back already??" - Aku
Is it just me or this material and story are perfect for a SAMURAI JACK MOVIE?
God damn that is beautiful. As a kid watching it in the early 2000s I never seem to be able to watch it perfectly in order. I would bounce around out of context and maybe only watched a season or two before giving up but I’ve been thinking about it for the last 15 years and I’m glad there’s some closure here with this video.
He was, He is, He will be my favorite childhood real hero. I watched every episode of samurai Jack but I still here .... thank you for this video.

I am so happy I learned how it ended today … such a masterpiece
I’m 27. When I was 8 I loved this show. I tried to rewatch it recently but I don’t have the patience anymore. I work so much that I don’t have the time either. So happy to see how my hero’s story ended. Amazing.
Dang, that was an awesome tale. I watched Jack younger, a few episodes at the time. But never guessed it was that deep. Wow.
Thank you for making this and exploring explaining and showing everything so clearly and in detail. The nostalgia is so real
The way you casually differentiated Egypt and Africa. Legendary 🥲
I loved Samauri Jack, watched it with my kids as they were growing up. I never saw the final season. Thank you.
season 5 is the best yowww.... i fall in love again with this story. Argh. Every shot was beautifully planned, and story telling is simple and superb, and the ending.... ARGH the final frame T_T Tearssssssss oh tears.
