Also- from a guy that doesn’t eat raw fish, doesn’t drink coffee or eat broccoli and most importantly, doesn’t drink alcohol (much less a beer) - I cannot hold his opinions in a high regard.
Flew on the SINGAPORE-LA-SINGAPORE 15 hours nonstop premium economy in Nov 2018 and did the "Booked the Cook" meals. It was so scrumptious and your meals came up much earlier than the regular trolley. Highly recommended! Also, the stewards addressed you by your name and remembered your drinks preference. Talk about premium service. When I landed in LA and was having a burger near the airport, one of the friendly SIA staff actually came over and said hello. Blew my mind away. It was clearly not a case of hello and goodbye at the gates. Very impressed with the SIA staff service. Thumbs up!
It's not one of the best airlines in the world for no reason. SIA is always at the top few. It comes at a price tho, but it'll make every penny spent worth it.
@TTVer9 For short transits, the cheaper flights are not too bad, just gotta put up with the couple of hours. For long flights, most international airline prices are similar. Your last two sentences perfectly describes what you're paying for, which doesn't exist on cheap flights. I've never flown with AA, but I've been hearing bad reviews about them most of the time.
Actually, I take Singapore Airlines regularly, and there are generally about a hundred business class folks per plane, not to mention that there are multiple planes. I'm not sure what the frequency is for each airport, but even the South Africa one has two a day.
Awesome vid Mikey! Around 2005-2007 I took a singapore airlines nonstop flight from new york to singapore, which actually held the world record for longest nonstop flight ever at the time. Service and food were both amazing! Haven't had the chance to fly singapore airlines since then but hopefully I get another opportunity soon!
this guys has like 4 channels all with over 500k subs and is still not spoiled and flys preminum or regular economy( not in this video but others) quite often.... RESPECT!

Pretty much agree. SQ is by far the best airlines company. On my 8-hours flight DXB-SG i actually was sick (over fatigued myself) but the foods kinda healed me up that i even braved up myself to drank a glass of white wine there 🤣 When i told the ground crew that i was sick and my ears are over sensitive to air pressure, they move me to the front line seat with more leg room so that i could sleep better without crunching up. And oh, i was in economy class 🤣 Good job with this video, Mike!

We Singaporeans may be rather pessimistic when it comes to many things from our homeland, but there's definitely pride when people praise Singapore Airlines, and our delicious hawker food. :)
Mike ! Some places and things you have to visit in London. Bang Bang Oriental city. It’s a Singapore style hawker Centre in the far flung suburbs of North London. You get there on the tube. Amazing choice, excellent Malay food, Chinese dumplings, four seasons roast duck... The list goes on. You have to eat Turkish food when you visit London. Google the best in Green Lanes and get a platter with Lamb Ribs etc. The German Kurdish and Turkish community have mastered the Berliner Doner Kebab but the London community have the Ockabasi (BBQ) skills. Often told that it rivals Istanbul. Some good Fish & Chips in London are seashell Lisson Grove, Toffs or The Golden Hind. Roti King in Euston does amazing Malay food. Cramped though. You have to get a traditional pub Sunday Lunch. Also a Full English Breakfast. Sams in Bethnal Green is a good example of an actual workers joint. Cheap and genuine. E pellici is alright but more of a tourist destination. 😄👍
Funny how everyone thinks the uk ends at London, first of all fish and chips are by far the best in the north, any sort of Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine is better in the north of England too, I have a lot of qfamily that live down south and whenever they come back north they gorge themselves on food that they’ve missed.
nuckinfuts s I’m a Londoner but wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone the best Fish & Chips are up North and on the coasts. More importantly Mike was saying he was visiting London, not Guildford, Hastings, Leeds, Edinburgh etc. Just London, so being born in the city gave him some tips.

Changi Village Nasi Lemak is one of the simplest, but it's also one of the best nasi lemak ever in Singapore.
Malaysia nasi lemak : hold my sambal
They have to carry less fuel on this flight so they can bring enough food for Mike Chen.

You have to eat Turkish food when you visit London. Google the best in Green Lanes and get a platter with Lamb Ribs etc. The German Kurdish and Turkish community have mastered the Berliner Doner Kebab but the London community have the Ockabasi (BBQ) skills. Often told that it rivals Istanbul.
Some good Fish & Chips in London are seashell Lisson Grove, Toffs or The Golden Hind.
Roti King in Euston does amazing Malay food. Cramped though.
You have to get a traditional pub Sunday Lunch.
Also a Full English Breakfast. Sams in Bethnal Green is a good example of an actual workers joint. Cheap and genuine. E pellici is alright but more of a tourist destination.

Funny how everyone thinks the uk ends at London, first of all fish and chips are by far the best in the north, any sort of Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine is better in the north of England too, I have a lot of qfamily that live down south and whenever they come back north they gorge themselves on food that they’ve missed.

I’m a Londoner but wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone the best Fish & Chips are up North and on the coasts. More importantly Mike was saying he was visiting London, not Guildford, Hastings, Leeds, Edinburgh etc. Just London, so being born in the city gave him some tips.
