I'm a weirdo who generally doesn't enjoy collabs between RUclipsrs. I loved seeing John from Only in Japan on this video. You guys have really similar energy. It works. If you're spending more time in Japan, I'd love to see more of this.
I love how Mikey never overdoes the enjoyment reactions like some other food travel channels. Some times its like watching people have an O over every food they try.

MP B Yes but that wasn't really a mandatory quarantine, it was just his choice to isolate himself. He quaratined in Seattle once there was serious action over COVID and quarantine was recommended and encouraged and sometimes required by governments globally.

I would advise maybe postponing your trip to Hawaii. They are trying to implement social distancing and are temporarily closing a lot of restaurants and eateries. And a lot of locals don’t appreciate people coming to Hawaii to “escape” the coronavirus because it puts a lot of our elderly at risk.
I think if he posts a video at this time about stuffing his face in Hawaii while people all over the world are in lockdown and watching death tolls rise everyday.... well heck, that would be the epitome of callousness.
Going could be a better way, fewer people ... use your brain ... it could be the best of your life ... peace

As a healthcare provider, I very much appreciate you choosing to self isolate. Right now we are doing the best we can with very limited resources. The best strategy to contain the virus at this time is for everyone to stay inside as much as possible to reduce the spread.
With the world in a state of chaos, it makes you appreciate all the more when you eat yummy, delicious food no matter what kind they are. Enjoy and cherish your meals everyone.

Nobi Public House is amazing! The smokey flavor on their banh mi is INCREDIBLE...Agreed Brinav!! On that note, Id also recommend Roostar Vietnamese Grill (2 locations) Their food is great and customer service is unparalleled.

Yeah also that 7-Eleven meal is nicer than most of the meals I usually have at home.
My family has always had boiled eggs chopped in our tuna fish salad, along with Mayo, celery, onions and seasonings (and sometimes pickle relish if your feeling it). I thought that it was commonplace to make it that way, but after seeing this video maybe it's not. But it's my favorite way to make it, Simply Delicious. I think is very unique having the tuna salad as one sandwich and then the egg as another sandwich and eating them together... eating it my way cuts out the middleman... LOL!

I'd just substitute evoo and fresh lemon juice for mayo, but it sounds really delicious. Olives are delicious in tuna salad too. I really want some right now. 😊

Bring some toilet paper home with you, It's a little crazy in the Pacific Northwest.
Our walmart has nothing but tp but if we run out then we have other means to keep our booty clean. Growing up poor you learn a few things and hopefully it sticks with you.

Japan's side streets/alleys in Tokyo are amazing! I'm not always a fan of large cities, but Tokyo's layout does it right. So many people think the Shibuya area is all skycrapers or highrises, but about a 15 minute walk from the famous Shibyua-Crossing and it becomes residental real quick, with some amazing restuarants and cemetaries.
We're in the middle of the pandemic and you're sharing cake and ice cream with your buddy on the side of the road. Your a brave man.

People are acting like maniacs here in the UK. I work in a supermarket, our shelves are empty & customers are shouting at us like it's our fault. I have anxiety & depression & I'm so stressed at the moment. But I'm so thankful for your video Mikey. You never fail to cheer me up!
Sorry to hear that. The situation with customers yelling at and blaming staff at supermarkets and pharmacies is a big problem in Japan too and workers are getting really stressed out. You're not alone. Some of the most aggressive people are those who want to resell the stuff online.
