I was born left handed but later in my childhood was forced to be a righty, currently now trying to practice being a left again! G903 does seem tempting but atm too expensive for me so i settled on my old handy logi pebble mouse for now until i can afford it as my blackweb mouse isnt cutting it for me. Biggest problem i struggle with is my aim and movement coordination, but otherwise this video was great! switched from a IJKL layout to your OKL; layout and had some improvement, thank you!
after 4 months im leftie but i have mouse on right hand and i feel so better when i have mouse on my left hand but i cant aim nor movement, what did u do to improve that i would reallty appreciate it
I’m a lefty but I use my right hand to hold my mouse since with my left I go insane on key adjustment, I’m actually good at both hands but, better with my left since i recently tried using my right for fun.
This vid inspired me to go lefty cuz its my own dominant hand been playing right handed for years but felt like switching it was tough at first but after while i stuck it
Been playing right handed my whole life but im left handed never really noticed tell i seen someone use a left handed mouse and now ive decided to try and go left to see if anything crazy happens my aim with my right hand is already really good its the one thing my friends say when i play games is my aim is crazy so we will see if my left hand aim is crazy as well
Thanks for the talk and vibes man. I recently bought the razer naga left edition off eBay since the retail price is so high. It has 12 thumb buttons for the left hand which is great for the gAme I play Final fantasy XIV the mmorpg with a free trial including the next two expansions at the moment. Just wanted to comment. Easy peasy leftie Brutha
Yo, im using the g903 as well, switchted from the kone aimo... best decision i ever made. Another advice i can give is: if you are too used to using wasd, get a tkl, 65% or even 60% keyboard, so you can move it further away from your mouse to increase the distance between your hands. That greatly improves comfort and you get a ton of extra space for aiming or movement, depending on what kind of games you play
I don't personally know of one but theres got to be something out there. I could be wrong but I'm sure I remember a program that lets you remap keys to other key functions. I never used it and I don't remember the name but I came across a video where someone used it when I was trying to set up a twitch stream a while ago. Sorry I haven't been much help, I'll let you know if I find anything :)
I use my mouse with my left hand, and play with wasd. I hit space with the bottom of my palm. Also it's nice to see people use AMD cards, we are a small community after all.
So do you shoot with the right button of the mouse? (With index finger) and ADS with the left button? (Middle finger), just like a mirrors right handed player?
@@JackDarbs Bro I was just trying that out before I watched your video!!! Which led me to search for your video to see if anyone does that (shooting with index finger ass a leftie) I think I know the reason why, the same reason why Kobe Bryant releases the ball last on his index finger but I wanna hear from your perspective! I've been gaming and practicing shooting with my middle finger and I've been missing out! So much more precise with the index finger!
And did you make this switch recently? Did it impact your day to day life of using the computer since you had to switch them? I'm afraid I will have to relearn alot of things, MOBA Games like Dota 2 for example. Also in this current age what mouse are you using? Thanks for replying!
@@JR-zc9vq @JR I'll be honest bro ive never thought about it that in depth before 😂 I'll have to do some research on the Kobe Bryant part as I'm not too familiar with him aside from the well known things. You could be on to something though mate! It is so much easier after making the switch I couldn't go back. I made the switch quite a while ago well over a year now, maybe 2 I don't really remember. it didn't take too long to get used to it, I did accidentally click the wrong button for a while but it just felt more natural than using my middle finger after a while. Even in my normal use of a pc it just became natural after using it that way for a while, a few mis-clicks still but I forgot I even used it the other way after a while. I haven't played a moba in years so I can't say for certain but you will probably have to learn again to some extent but the mouse keys are quite similar in layout only reversed so they would be familiar so I would think it would be easier to learn again. I'm still using the same mouse I was using in this video the Logiteh G903 Lightspeed. It's hands down my favourite mouse it fits my hand perfectly. Your welcome! Thank you for commenting! Have a good day! :)
@@JackDarbs haha yeah he has this thing called the index finger release, not sure if it’s actually a thing but it does makes sense since in a relaxed position when you point the index finger is the straightest. And you do usually point with your index finger so maybe the hand eye coordination of finding targets might be easier. Been struggling to get used to it. Not sure if it works but hopefully this helps to increase my ceiling! Only time and practice can tell. :)
You're welcome! I'm glad to have helped. I spent 10+ years playing my pc with my mouse configured for a right hander and using the normal WASD controls on a keyboard which favour a right handed user. So I'm glad I've helped you out and I hope you find it more comfortable to game or work using these tips :)
hey bro i m a left handed but i play with my right hand on my mouse and sometimes i feel pretty weak aiming (i think i cant move my hand in every direction i want) so what do you recommend? should i switch?
Hey man, yeah I personally would recommend to anyone to use your dominant hand to control a mouse. If your used to playing right handed though it will take a bit of getting used to but it will start to feel more natural once you've gotten used to using your left hand. Let me know how you get on bro 👍
It's not too late don't worry! I've never used a viper ultimate so I cannot speak for that mouse, but I've used my g903 lightspeed for about a year now and it is the most comfortable mouse I have ever held, so I personally would recommend the g903 but if your still unsure It wouldn't hurt to ask reddit to see what other people reccommend. If you don't have a reddit account I would be more than happy to make a post on your behalf :) thanks for the comment!
@@JackDarbs I’ve watched reviews on the g903 and heard it had double clicking issues , which the viper doesn’t exactly have because of the newer switches . I’ll have to check Reddit for sure

I am left handed and I play roblox so I can't change the way I move in roblox but I'm learning to play with my right hand and I've learned how to play call of duty and some other shooting games with my left hand on my mouse
Doesn't hurt to try it out. I started, and it feels extremely alien, but in my head it makes sense to get used to it as I'm left handed and the precision I'd need seems like something my left hand would be good at

You have to use your pinky for spacebar lol
I do, I can safely say my right hand pinky is now the most shredded part of my body lol
