Feel free to show as many Rainbows🌈 as you want Dan!😂 Lord knows I'll be all eyes and ears! 😍🤩
Best fish in the Business.I can’t wait to use my $100.00 gift card!
Those blue ribbon and blue lapis tetras sure are pretty! And those super blues 😍 Wow!! I loooooove blue fish!
That thumbnail is hilarious 🤣
I’ve kept the ‘Ocelot’ as low end brackish, due to the even less reliable info back then, and they did well as a group for 4-5 years.
Amazing video. Great job! Thanks Dan.
Thank you, I love the tours! However, since I’m a new-ish hobbyist, some b-roll of each fish once they’re mature and fully colored would be super helpful. (And fun!) Just a suggestion, you’re awesome Dan!!! 🐟
Saving the best for past (plecos). Very nice L046 👍
LOL at the Gobi's playing tug o war with bloodworms.
Love these tours! Thank you Dan!
Those look very familiar!
Thanks for your help.gettong to us, Scottie!
Lovely
Amazing stiphodons
Nice fish, Nice Tour.. Thanks Dan+Crew!!
Another great fishroom tour. They all look happy, healthy and well fed.
I want them all!!! Really, really thrilled I was able to grab some of the pseudomugil mellis!!!
Love those half beaks! So many gorgeous fish. Drool…
Very interesting
I was thinking it might be an option in the future if this happens again to you to test the salinity of the bag water they come to you in.
Reason i say this is from experience when i was keeping marine fish years n years ago, some pet shops here in Australia store their marine fish in either full normal salinity saltwater and some in very low salinity in order to deal with diseases, but would never tell the customer... So knowing the salinity they were in helped me adjust the quarantine tank to match and then over a week or two slowly increase the salinity to match my tank parameters..
Thanks for the suggestion, Daniel.
I have those gobies in freshwater for the last month, so I can't really tell you much. so far, I haven't seen any issues, and they seem to get along with other fish. I had them in with a fahaka while quarantining, and they left each other alone.
Those plecos are looking great Dan 😁
Had a great time watching these gorgeous fishes. Thanks bro.
Awesome!!!
Uhgg, I check daily for the mellis, but I missed them :( Nice tour
Yes keep on the gobies!!!!!!! I need to order again
Nice video, great editing StephenP!
So tell me about those rainbow striped filters you have everywhere ?
U should put pics of them as adults on the screen...
Love the thumbnail! RFOL
Very nice.
Real cool collection. How large so the halfbeak get max?
From what i read they live in fresh and spawn their larval fry in brackish river deltas in s.e. asia ... i kept some for around 18 months in freshwater but it was mildly alkaline and tds of 300... at 18 months of keeping them, they started dying over the next 3 months or so...but they dont live over 4 years anyhow from what i was told.
but i dont know anything for sure, so id also love to hear what you learn.... did you find out @dansfish?
Thanks for the info, Alex. I still don't know anything definitive about them being from fresh vs. brackish. Nice to know they were okay for at least 18 months. If there was a scientific description I could dig into, I might be able to pinpoint their actual natural range and habitat, but nothing like that has appeared so far.
Nice
Hi, believe the mega oranges get orange throughout the body vs just the fins of the normal orange. Seen some listed on another fish website with a full orange body.
So sad i missed out on those Mugilogobius adeia ... apparently if you have a snail problem those lil gobies can handle it well.
Awesome video. It's time to make more kittens
👍🏻👍🏻
Any plans on getting some Chili Rasboras in?
The true freshwater bumblebee goby is the brachygobius xanthomelas and if I remember correctly the brackish common sold are brachygobius doriae. I believe the one you have is similar to the xanthomelas which can be kept in freshwater but it is conflicting since not much is known about the ocelot so I can not guarantee 100%.
I’m curious what the physical differences between the two species of Brachygobius are? I couldn’t see them well enough to tell how they differ.
Are there any specific things of note with keeping those black gobies? Would they do well in a semi aggressive community with other gudgeons/gobies like mogurnda?
Hi Dan...are you the 🇨🇦 cory breeder😍?
I'd love to claim that title, but I have never set foot in Canada in my life. I do like maple syrup, but I'm not sure that is enough of a qualification for a citizenship claim :)
I told Stephen to buy those M. picta because I enjoy making Stephen spend money. You’re welcome. 😆
Nice video and nice fish! Only comment: when pronouncing scientific names "ch" is always pronounced like a "k" so "kill-atherina" not "chill-atherina". Sorry to be "that guy"! Cheers!
Please read my comment, Gobies are territorial fish, don't put males with other males in the same tank and all Gobi you have is freshwater
