Thanks for the tour. I think Dan is beaming with joy. 😁 Those masked brichardi caught my eye. That 1000 gallon with natural sunlight. . . . I'm dreaming. . . dreaming

Those mascara barbs looked so cool in the 1000 gallon! And I've always been a huge fan of those tilapia. Perfect combo of spangles and red fins!

What a wonderful hatchery. You can tell he definitely into his fish when you no how to say those names. WOW. FABULOUS set up and I want to see it all.
Thanks for sharing this with all of us in the fish community. I'm like a little kid and want them all. Lol

This was a treat. Thanks John for allowing the tour. Beautiful fish and I especially like the vertical spawning caves. I also think I'll try the catfish breeding set up minus the pot, for my cherry barbs. I have the marbles but never thought to have a mesh over a container under them to get the eggs instead of waiting for the eggs to hatch and fry to just swim out.
Thanks Dan for showcasing John's hatchery for us.

At 13:30 the Tanganyikan Tilapia are definitely very nice. I’ve kept Buttikoferi Tilapia, and side note I used to breed the regular Pseudotropheus greshakei (Metriaclima greshakei) Thx Dan, I love seeing other fish collections like this!!

I had the Rhampochromis macrophthalmus some years ago . Fairly easy to spawn but stripping the females to take out the young was not easy. She thrashed nonstop. The young were fairly large and grew quickly.

      Wrong channel for you then.
I hate seeing dogs on leash. They need to run on hiking trails and swim in ponds and rivers. But I don’t needlessly haunt the doggy channels to voice my displeasure.
