how do you switch to vr? i open steam vr and it doesnt load on the pico, it launches but not on my vr, and it doesnt recognize my vr or my controllers. how do you fix this?
Thanks for the video! I'm actually thinking about these cloud services for quite some time, as I'm also not PCVR-ready. I guess the experience depends much on the latency to the nearest server you're connected to, but I'll ask it anyway - how was your experience? Any major lags, or unplayable games? I guess the most sensitive one would be Beat Saber, right? I was also researching PlutoSphere, which is providing the same services - have you maybe tried that one, or plan to try it?
but whats the point not taking advantage of your gpu in case youv'e got powerful one? i would say wifi is good only for watching movies when you have a powerful gaming pc.. and btw if you can answer that >.. i know there is an option connecting the pico 4 wired through usb c cable.. in that case it is using your gpu or still powered by the adreno chip? thx for the review
Idk how shadow is still living after that databreach. But I don't need it. Have a gaming PC and cable. And my wifi is already crashing while trying to locally host steam vr. But I was just wondering if it's in any way possible
That's a good question, I did have quite a bit of latency but I believe it's because it's recommended to connect the laptop and the headset with the cable to internet. Haven't tried that yet, but like I said, if it's over wifi, you can expect quite a lot of latency. It also depends on your wifi router and internet provider as well though.

misleading title. A powerful PC is required just not your own. So the title should have read, "How to play PCVR on Pico 4 using Shadow PC"

Yes, but I think you still need a basic laptop.

Does PCVR Games support the controllers?
It does yes, but it'll show you Quest 2 controllers when you're playing.
It would be great if you tried it again with Shadow VR. is supposed to be an alternative to virtual desktop. best regards

I think you do yes, Pico 4 has an app of it's own but from what I saw it's not that good. I recommend Virtual Desktop. That's what I used.
bonelab work on pico 4?
I think Bonelab is exclusive to Quest 2 so it's not working on Pico 4.

If you mean if you can use it straight on your laptop, you can if you. have a VR ready gpu. If you mean if you can use it with shadow, yes you can.
