Hello I got type 2 diabetes and fatty liver...The liver is getting better and the Ac1 now at 5.4 controlled....My endocrinologist suggested to become vegan I am 50/50 so far...I am doind a Keto diet...lost a lot of water and some fat...got weaker in the gym somewhat...My goal is to loose fat and be healthier.. perhaps get some strength back...You feel your vertical plan could be a better choice over Keto? You mention that insulin resistance can cause high triglycerides. Can high triglycerides cause insulin resistance? I've proven with bloodwork that raw milk intake raises my triglycerides tremendously. Eliminating milk drops them to normal levels (but I love milk so I'm still drinking it). I also show some markers for insulin resistance. Could a drop in triglycerides (eliminating milk) help restore insulin sensitivity? Thanks again Stan!
I read that high tris do not cause insulin only the other way around. I just discovered my tris have been high due to insulin resistance and that was only discovered upon doing an A1C test (fasting glucose was normal but in high 90s). My nutritionist just said cut carbs, especially in the morning. Even a banana in the morning is too high in carbs for me. Fill up on proteins first.
There is a study that showed that women who ate red meat instead of fish or chicken over the period of the study had lower serum triglyceride levels. They also tended to consume more calories (from red meat) without it showing in their waist line. For women serum triglyceride tends to be more dangerous for them.

My reflux doesn't burn it just affects my vocal cords(more of a vapor). I don't eat anything 3 hours before bed it helps a lot.

I'm curious, if I'm cracking out double splits. Do you think the ten minutes walks are still a good idea? Or is it too much cardio.
