It's stable now, but there is usually some tension and sometimes pain when I take it too far. Do you think hooping would help or harm my situation?
Hi Ivana, I cannot tell from here really, it would be crazy for me to give my opinion when I think your health care provider probably has seen you and knows what your disc is like and if it can cope with this movement. I would definitely ask the person who is familiar with your disk. One thing for sure is that my mum has exactly the same but she can hula hoop OK and she says it's helped because for years she's been avoiding movements to prevent pain but this mobilised her gently and she feels like she is able to move a lot more now. But always best to ask your health care provider because you don't want to do any harm. Better to be safe than sorry 💗 I hope the answer will be yes and you will be hooping happily 💗
@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper I absolutely agree! This is the main reason for me taking up hula hooping to help my slipped disc and in such a short time I feel a big difference. I know if I continue it will help if not cure it completely. But of course, check with the specialist to be on the safe side🙏🏿

Hello, just yesterday I got a hula hoop. But from watching this video and others, it seems like it's small. Do you think I should purchase a bigger one and use the smaller one for the hands?
Hello Rebekka, my video or other people's videos don't really matter at all if you can keep it up perfectly. It depends on how you feel. If you are able to keep up the hoop that you have and you can do the moves you want to do then it is the perfect hoop. But if it is a struggle, then definitely look into getting a bigger one for waist, hips etc and for hands any Toyshop hoop is great to start with. Eventually you will be able to use one hoop for everything but when we start we usually use a bigger one around the waist and a smaller one around the hands.
@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper Thank you for your reply! I haven't used a hula hoop in years so I definitely struggle with it. But I think you are right. I just sell courses and workouts which help learners get into a great shape and acquire fun cool skills that are great for balance, coordination & confidence ❤️ There are hoops that I normally recommend, they are not mine but I am familiar with them and if I was a beginner, I would buy these: a Hulahoop for a Beginner Adult: US: amzn.to/2U5ijpP “#ad” UK: amzn.to/38EcFjl “#ad” A Hulahoop for a smaller, slimmer , fitter adult or child and for any adult hand hooping moves: US: amzn.to/3Bf27q4 “#ad” UK: amzn.to/2TW05Xp “#ad”
I don’t care for one I have to snap together. Does it make a difference?Amazons looks cheesy. I could never hoop as a child some of my siblings could, they weren’t weighted.
@@cathydemarest3572 when we are kids, we are fitter and smaller… so it is easier for kids to keep up a small toy shop hoop. You could make one for you if you find a toy shop hoop that is larger diameter and you could fill it with sand or rice! That adds weight! And wrap it in some tape - gaffer tape is best but any will do really - the tape adds extra weight, too but improves grip at the same time 👌🏾💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽❤️ you can do it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽❤️❤️❤️

@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper thank you
I’m still struggling I attempt for 10 minutes a day and have been doing it for about 4 days. Any suggestions?
You will be hooping effortlessly soon ♥️ believe in yourself and you're halfway there ♥️ I have an exercise with a charger... May sound crazy but I explain it all in another video and it has helped many, so have a try, please ♥️♥️♥️ ruclips.net/video/yoI3nCmN5E4/видео.html
@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper thank you! I’m not going to give up! I will try the charger trick. X
I need help
What kind of hoop have you got? Is it possible it is too small?
I am still trying to do this. My five year old does a better job than me 😂
😂😂😂 that's good for the confidence of the 5-year-old 😂😂😂 in our house hooping is the only thing I'm better at than my daughter 😂 what a fun cool activity to do together! Keep making epic memories full of laughter ♥️♥️♥️
Yeah I’m a 10 Year Old and my Mom Searched this Because I’m Better than Her with a Huge Hoop xD
@@shazlink35 🤣🤣🤣 you've got to keep her motivated and inspired, keep showing off and encourage her to try and keep up with you. Mums need the inspiration and encouragement, too. They always keep supporting others and put themselves last. Be there for her so you have a super cool fun hobby and skill together. Not a lot of other 10-year-olds can say they do hooping with their mums 😉 well done, both of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can I order a hoop from you?
Thank you, Cathy for your interest 💝 would love to be able to sell hoops but at the moment I am not selling any. I just sell courses and workouts which help learners get into a great shape and acquire fun cool skills that are great for balance, coordination & confidence ❤️
There are hoops that I normally recommend, they are not mine but I am familiar with them and if I was a beginner, I would buy these:
a Hulahoop for a Beginner Adult:
US: amzn.to/2U5ijpP “#ad”
UK: amzn.to/38EcFjl “#ad”
A Hulahoop for a smaller, slimmer , fitter adult or child and for any adult hand hooping moves:
US: amzn.to/3Bf27q4 “#ad”
UK: amzn.to/2TW05Xp “#ad”
I don’t care for one I have to snap together. Does it make a difference?Amazons looks cheesy. I could never hoop as a child some of my siblings could, they weren’t weighted.
@@cathydemarest3572 when we are kids, we are fitter and smaller… so it is easier for kids to keep up a small toy shop hoop. You could make one for you if you find a toy shop hoop that is larger diameter and you could fill it with sand or rice! That adds weight! And wrap it in some tape - gaffer tape is best but any will do really - the tape adds extra weight, too but improves grip at the same time 👌🏾💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽❤️ you can do it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽❤️❤️❤️
@@BeeVargaTheHulahooper I was always a beanstalk as a child and not a overweight senior.Just couldn’t get it, I could balance beam jump rope everything.🧐 Thanks for helping me understand selecting a hoop been wanting to do for years.
It's been one month. Can't do. I surrender.
Maybe your hoop is not big enough? Have you tried a different size?
Tried many times but not able to make it spin 😔😔😔
Maybe your hoop is too small? What size are you using and what size are you? ♥️ Sometimes you try a bigger hoop and boom the magic happens ♥️
❤️
Anyone else in gym class right now 0-0
Have you got access to a hula hoop in your gym? How lucky to have the gym reopen again 💗 enjoy 💗
🙏
Did way better with just with those fews tips...but my 10 yr old is way better than me
Well done! Ow yessss, 10-year-olds are not good for a mama's confidence 😂 I'm lucky, mine is only 5, so I can just about do more than she can but she learnt everything she knows a lot faster than me and it won't be long that she will be better than me... But that's is true joy, when we see our little ones thrive and have confidence and learn new things and succeed 💗 what a wonderful role model you are for letting her witness that mummy is learning, mummy is keeping fit, she is working on her well being with a growth mindset ♥️♥️♥️ keep shining your light for her ♥️♥️♥️
16k people wanted to watch a hula hoop video, wtf 🤷🏾♂️
It's great that people are trying to keep fit and finding ways to entertain themselves and get active even if stuck at home during a lockdown. We are all different with different preferences and facilities ♥️
