    It is a good vid Darl. I took up hooping during lock down in March but bought my first hoop in April or May - I live in Australia. I have gotten up to 353 hoops & I didn't feel very well after but I am hooping every night. I usually stop at 200 hoops whilst watching tv. I want to be able to hoop subconsciously whilst concentrating on cooking programs LOL

      😂😂😂 same here, I'm addicted to baking programmes since we started baking with my toddler. The worst thing about it is I'm not just watching but baking it all, too 😂 never had so much cake and cookies 😂😂😂😂😂
      Well done! Hooping every night is dedication! Little and often is perfect and I hope it makes you feel like you had an energising toning massage as well as a workout ♥️ I hope you shall carry on and this will be something you shall enjoying for many years ♥️

    Excellent tutorials. I couldn't even hula hoop as a child, but after 10 days of practice, I finally cracked the technique!! Thank you so much. Posture was key.

      Wow, well done! Especially awesome if never could do it as a child! Often the biggest obstacles we have are in the head. Most people don't believe they can so they give up trying. If you've never been able to do it but still carried on and conquered it then it's even bigger an achievement in itself! I hope you're smiling proud and it feels amazing as it massages you and give you a workout and makes you play and dance 💗💗💗 have lots and lots of fun 💗💗💗

      You're amazing! I want to be hooping when I'm in my 50s, too ♥️ I bet you're fitter and having a better giggle than any younger people ♥️ I find that the older I get the more I enjoy it, the more Hooping benefits me and the less I care about what others think but the more fun I claim! Keep up the hooping please for many years ♥️ sending you lots of love from Latvia ♥️

    Thank you so much for these tips! I've found some good beginner videos, but by far your beginner tutorial is the best. :D 💛
    The charger cord really helped me troubleshoot just how much effort I need to give in order to get the hoop moving consistently. It seems so simple of a trick, but brilliant!

      Thank you, Natasha! Indeed, it can be surprising about the amount of energy that needs to go into the move... when we first look at hula hoopers it looks so effortless but it's deceiving 🤣 at least this way everyone can see that hooping is in fact a very very good exercise for getting fit.
      Have lots of fun and enjoy discovering all the amazing incredible things your body and mind can do for you 🧡🧡🧡 happy hooping ❤️

      Desigual is the brand of the dress, had to check as I didn't know. I only buy second hand clothes so it was in the 30cents sale at the local Humana thrift store. Probably it is easy to find online.

      You can do it, Melissa, I know you can. It took me a while to figure it out, too and I was feeling low watching others just pick it up and spin it effortlessly immediately.... BUT funny enough, those who never struggled and it stayed up easy for them are not even hula hooping or learning moves... I was struggling from the beginning and I'm so used to things being hard I just kept going and check me out... It felt like such a huge achievement to be able to keep it up that I just never stopped 🤣 I hope your hoop journey will be similar and you will never stop 😉 it's a fun and healthy addiction 💖💖💖 you can do it 💖

      Good luck, Sabrina with finding a bigger Hoop and well done for researching it. Most people try a hoop and if it doesn't stay up they immediately decide they cannot do it and give up for life... But you are here learning and researching. Keep up your enthusiasm and believe me you can do it once you have the right hoop ♥️ it is amazing fun ♥️♥️♥️

    Thank you! I like the charger trick. Mine isn’t bouncing, no matter how hard I try. What exercises can I do to improve?

    • @BeeVargaTheHulahooper
      @BeeVargaTheHulahooper  3 года назад

      You can do it! Sorry, just seen this, not sure why RUclips hid it from me. I recommend going for something a bit bigger and heavier then. A charger is small and lightweight so it takes more effort to bounce it. If you use something like a soft toy or a bag of socks or something, that makes it a bit bigger and heavier which makes it easier. That is why when people use a very weighted hula hoop ( which are getting very popular for some reason ) they are actually not working harder... they are making it easier. So more weight makes the bouncing easier. Experiment with different items of different weight and once a heavier thing helped you figure out the technique, you will be able to do it with a lighter object easily. It is just the initial figuring out that is a challenge, after that it is a walk in the park.

    Are there many male hoppers 🤔 I remember sometime back, I flattened my stomach with just daily hooping. I think it is time to get back to it 😂

    • @BeeVargaTheHulahooper
      @BeeVargaTheHulahooper  11 месяцев назад +1

      There are male hoopers! They are pretty good! Usually they are better than women 🤪 whenever I'd done community & circus events and people came to try hooping with me: more men managed to do the tricks and were even better at waist hooping than ladies!
      If your stomach needs flattening definitely dust off your hoop and have a happy wiggle. You can absolutely do it and it will feel awesome to get back into it 💗 ready, steady, go! 💪💗💋

      @lt5550 hooping guys are busy because hooping turns them into shredded chick-magnets and they are having too much fun 😂 this online content creation malarkey is no fun, to make tutorials you have to sit and work at a desk staring at a computer too long. Only broke single mums like me are desperate enough to do stuff like this 😂😂 if I could do what I want to do, I wouldn't be spending my life at a desk either 😂 enjoy all the fun and adventures waiting for you with hooping and never worry about other guys, they are probably not worried about any of us either 😂 discover your own style, experience the amazing strength & overall fitness gains, play & enjoy your skills whenever you can 💗💗💗

    Will i lose the hips i do have?

    All i want is for that lower belly fat to be gone

      You will gain muscle on your glutes. So you will probably end up with a bigger but super firm bottom but your waist will shrink, your tummy skin will get firm and toned. Hooping is perfect for an hourglass physique so after 3 Children you will look just like new. You will also feel just like new 😂 it will be fun and doable around kids. I love hooping even more since I'm a mum because my daughter is thinking I'm playing with her when all I'm doing really is working out 😂 but we are both happy and winning 💪💪💪 I hope you go for it and hoop together and have lots of fun ♥️

      Sabrina, I looked on Etsy and there are lots in the US! So not sure which seller is nearer to you but if you search for a 25mm HDPE hoop I would go for a 40" diameter one or something like that. If you get in touch with the seller they surely will be interested in getting back to you and you can tell them about your size and fitness level and they should be able to advise. I think 25mm HDPE is brill because that is what we use around the waist for fitness. Polypro hoops are very popular but they are for hand moves mostly or for skinny young people.... I am not any of those LOL so I use 25mm HDPE and that is what I recommend if you want to spin it around your core mostly and not on your hands. I just looked and there are a lot of US sellers and you can choose colours and even have options for travel hoops which are collapsible or just non-collapsible ordinary hoops. I use non-collapsible - but they suit me fine, I don't fly much just hoop in the kitchen or garden... if you travel a lot, a collapsible hoop is better for you.
