Merry Christmas Bee!! I am so grateful for your video instruction. It was exactly what I needed when I got my first hula hoop at age 70. Now, at 71 I enjoy my daily hooping session more than ever. Best regards, Mr. Joel

How amazing you are, Mr. Joel! Many times people younger than me think they are too old to even try hooping! Or they try half-heartedly and give up! Even to try is a huge achievement at any age but especially so at 70! I hope you will be surprised lots about how magnificent your body can feel and how much fitter you can still become and let your curiosity and joy to play brighten your days every day and put a spring in your steps for many many years to come 🙏🏾💖🫶🏼 merry Christmas 🎄 & happy new abundant & energetic year to You ❤️❤️❤️

I love these videos because they also feel like a mini biology lesson. I think when we understand what our bodies are doing during exercise, it amplifies the results. Thank you, Bee 🐝 I'll try this with three hoops to make it intense!

Thank you, Gorgeous Xandra 💗 too often I hear people focus on the calories or their fat and how dizzy they get or how hard it is... but at the end of the day: we need to focus on all the things that keep us going... we cannot ever feel victorious if we are focusing on all the things we are bad at and struggling with...
for me when I get dizzy it makes me excited because I then know that I stimulated my vestibular system... working all day at a desk delivers zero stimulation and if i carry on for days and years with zero stimulation: of course it all goes out the window... but when I play and do the things that challenge me, I almost feel like it is a massive check mark off my to do list: I got a little dizzy ✅ I got sweaty & out of breath ✅ I wobbled as I was trying to balance ✅ got stretched and mobilised ✅
the more we understand the body the more we appreciate it and respect it and look after it. The more excited we get about all the epic changes we can achieve 💫 keep shining brigth and pushing yourself every time, you're awesome! 3 hoops is epic! can even do 2 around the waist 1 overhead... or using a step or yoga block for elevation to step up and down, too ⚡️

I’ve watched a random handful of your videos...and I have only one regret...I didn’t find you sooner. I’m in my 50s and 2 granddaughters. The “scale” has been my enemy for a few years and I’m so inspired by your insane talents that your humor is equally as inspiring, so smart, kind and positive. Best biology class I’ve ever had lol. I’m sure I will be a member soon. A few days until my correct hoop gets here and kicks my weighted hoop to the side. I’m starting to record my transformation. I believe it’s going to happen

Gorgeous! You really made my day 🙏 thank you for such a meaningful & lovely comment 💋😚
50s sounds perfect, hooping can get you started off nice and gently and you will just keep getting stronger, more flexible and you will be amazed how far you can get! It's not really like other workouts or sports. This is more about knowing your body, being patient, paying attention. The older we are the better we are at these things!
✨️wow! if you have 2 granddaughters you will be the most fun gran I can ever imagine! Seriously! How wild that would have been if your and my grannies were hooping! We would have such magical memories and skills! You're an excellent role model! 👏
If you hang out with me long enough you will soon forget about the scales... hooping somehow teaches us to love ourselves and get confident and notice + appreciate our gifts! We all have something marvellous about us. While some are stronger, others are more coordinated, others more flexible, some more creative and playful. You will discover all your gifts and they will make you fall madly in love with every single pound of you! You will grow stunning firm lean muscles which devour all your calories and tone up your gorgeous skin. You have all this coming, it was meant to be. You had to come this far to now discover hooping and receive all this inspiration at the perfect time! Hooping came to my life at the perfect time, too. I was always overweight, unfit and had zero confidence and I had to live like that to know what that feels like and celebrate every single day when I feel deserving and whole and lovable. Had to be a little broken to value what I have now. When we take things for granted and when things come easy, we tend to not know their value... now you will achieve beyond your imagination and you will wildly celebrate it all 💖 your shiny new chapter is full of joy, laughter, play, wellness, learning... it is all unfolding for you, you deserve it 🙏💋😚

Thank you so much, Pat for leaving a comment and for always being so kind 💖 I think we can so easily switch the focus during a workout and that helps with the rest of the day and our whole life... we can focus on all the things we dislike and that don't look good... or we can choose to focus on learning about it, learning to appreciate it, learning to respect it and that will improve our performance and mood... that changes our habits and that changes what we look and feel like. I don't want to waste too much time giving entire anatomy lessons when people come to me to sweat or learn hooping but sprinkling bits in there I think is exactly the guidance our brain needs to wander to helpful places. At the end of the day we all workout to feel good about ourselves, we are all trying our best. Let's make exercise and learning into a happy place together ❤️ editing module 32 of Exotic all day today and I'm so excited 😊 I know you will enjoy it, it's super challenging but it has so many regressions and progressions that I know it will guide you to achieve fun epic stunts you never dared even dreaming about. You are picking up über awesome skills & fitness 💖💖💖 I hope you're feeling chuffed about how far you've come and excited about all that you can conquer 👌💪🏆✨️

Thank you ❤️ I'm learning 💪 we both are! Some may not care about the body that much and those who just keep staring at calories they burnt and fat they want to get rid of: they will not like my style anyway. Those who are curious about their bodies and want to stop fighting it but ready to make friends and tame every little body part while getting fit: they are my tribe. Took me a while to learn that most will not enjoy the way I workout because they don't want to understand physiology, they just want to count repetitions or number of tricks. Those who are ready for a full body and mind transformation will be having a party with me. They sculpt a physique with epic proportions, they learn fun moves that make them feel irresistible and they will not be insecure worrying about how many tricks they can or cannot do, constantly comparing themselves... With me it's never about number of calories or tricks or comparison: it's about getting and feeling smoking hot & confident, noticing + celebrating our own growth and improvements. The hoop is just the perfect tool for that 👌🪄💖 hope you had an epic Easter 💖💖💖 lots of love 💋💋💋

You really made my day with your words!
When I started hooping, I never enjoyed exercising - I believed I am not ever going to get good at it and I didn’t enjoy hanging out with serious people who are all about suffering & focusing on everything that is wrong about me… what part of me was fat and how slow I am & how non-existent my flexibility or strength was… I already knew… that is why I should have done something about it all but it felt like the vibe is Bee-repellent… it’s all about reminding me that I suck!
So I took a long time to start hooping at all - I honestly took months before I ordered my first hoop and I had all these voices from the past echo in my head… that I’m fat and it’s cute that I try but I never will be good at anything physical…
When I finally got my first hoop I instantly forgot it all - as I kept trying to spin it, when it dropped I felt like I’m playing. It didn’t feel like the voices from the past telling me that I’m hopeless… it felt like a game & fun & curiosity & discoveries. The hoop dropping somehow felt like genuine feedback! Not judgement & criticism like the voices were!!! Instead the hoop was: guidance, play, information how I should move and what I can fix! My posture got better, my glutes started growing, my back was not hurting me anymore, my knees felt relieved & my lung capacity improved & my skin firmed up! It taught me to focus on all the things I can achieve, all the excitement & joy! Then when I was starting to teach I remembered how I felt & what helped me & it makes my content a little too cuddly and too encouraging… because I became the voice I needed when I was a beginner! I hope it helps you stay inspired & feel amazing & focus on all the helpful uplifting thoughts 🫶🏼💖💋💋💋

Unfortunately I cannot see what you’re doing but I have a ball and sock trick to help with oomph if that is what’s missing- usually that is the problem. The lack of momentum generated. It happens very very often that there’s not enough power. Try this video of mine, in there I show you how to bounce a ball on your tummy
CANNOT KEEP UP A HULA HOOP? TRY THIS!
      ruclips.net/video/RqSDjCTEjoI/видео.html
If you are good at bouncing the ball, then try your hoop again a few times. If still not happening, I would go on Etsy and look up an HDPE hoop - people make hoops of all sizes there and it is possible to find a 40” or 42” hoop. That I would try only if the ball trick didn’t work. The diameter of the hoop is very important. These weighted hoops can be heavy but not a helpful size… the 40” hoop may look ridiculously huge… but it will stay up! Not sure what is the diameter of the hoop that you’re using but if it is smaller, it almost doesn’t matter how heavy it is, it will be still hard for a beginner. Do check the ball trick in the video I pasted above and give it a go, Darling. You probably can do it really soon just need to trick your nervous system. You’ll be awesome 🫶🏼❤️🙌💋

Thanks for sharing your progress 🏆
Focus on your stance and make sure your feet are grounded. Gently shift your weight to guide the hoop in the direction you want. It might feel a bit awkward at first, but with practice, you'll build up that muscle memory.
And most importantly, have patience with yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day, and mastering a new skill takes time. Keep at it, stay positive, and you'll definitely see improvement. You're doing great, keep shining!" 🌟🌀

I am sure you can find something that will bring you joy and help you achieve your goals while costing the amount that you are willing to spend on a workout equipment. Have a lot of fun getting fit & I hope you find exactly what you’re looking for 🙏🏾
I think all hoops are cheap really. Cheaper than a pole for pole dance or an aerial hoop or a pair of running shoes. Hoops are usually quite cheap compared to most fitness equipment.

I appreciate your feedback and I’m very sorry I am too fast - it is hard to make sure that all the different ages and fitness levels and hooping skills who click will get exactly the pace they desire or what meets their level. But that is the beauty of RUclips, if you prefer you can always click away and find a creator you prefer with better content. I apologise about the inconvenience my pace may have caused, I did not mean to upset anyone by sharing free tutorials and workouts. It was a lot of investment to buy the tech and software and licences and the last thing I wanted was to cause upset with it all. I’m very sorry.
