I got more exercise leaning over to pick the hoop up 100 times than I got from any 3 second hoop session. This is impossible.

I cant find the link for the larger beginner hoop
I got my big hoop. It's about 3 inches over my belly button and has a good weight to it. I followed the guidelines to buying your 1st hoop. I tried all the tricks, spinning it both ways, rocking back and forth, side to side, feet apart and together, arms out and up, tight clothes, loose clothes, no clothes, with and w/out shoes. Nothing works. I had to save up to get my hoop and can't afford to just buy another one to make a giant 1 (can't fit a giant one inside my practice room anyway). My heart hurts. I keep tearing up. I want to hoop, but it's not working. I've watched videos, read articles, and practiced. Please help.

How do I know if I've gotten the right size hoop pls? I've got same hoop as you, pink & grey but I still can't get the hoop to stay up?
The simple answer is you know you got the right size when you can keep it up. You may need a different hoop size, probably larger. How big is your hoop?
I was wondering why I could hula hoop anymore. I was a champ when I was younger I could do it for hours walk with it kneel down and get up. And I tried with the small one now and it wasn’t doing anything lol
