- In this episode of this series, we will be installing the all-new Hybrid Racing Short Shifter Assembly, step-by-step from start to finish to help with your project. Then we installed Boomba Racing recirculating bypass valve and finished off with a set of Acura Genuine Accessory Mud Guard Set to further protect our project car.

Great video. Really enticed by the feel of the hybrid shifter. I just wish they had a setting to retain the oem throw length.
I enjoy shifting and the extra length matches with Honda’s intended rev hang going up gears by shifting slower waiting for rpm to drop.

I think he meant to say fully recirculating BPV. Vent to Atmosphere BPVs is what gives you the whoosh noise off throttle.
Love the short shifter. Mike do you think it's worthwhile to install an oil separator?
With our setup, I don't believe it's necessary yet

i would use the stock shift boot if possible for OEM look or something after market shift boot
OEM fits...not sure why they left it off
are you not able to use the same shift boot again?
Is that boomba bov compatible with a stock turbo and tuning ?

With an open intake, it will be much more noticeable
so just asking, what are the downsides to the short shifter?
The shifter does have a “tighter” feel between gears. We personally love that but one size doesn’t fit all
how much lighter?
Weight is about the same but the key advantage points are the feel, the shorter throw and fully adjustable.
