2024 Acura Integra Type-S // Suspension & Shifter Upgrades

- In this episode of this series, we will first be installing a turbo blanket from PRL to reduce Intake Air Temperature. Then we moved on installing new adjustable rear suspension from RV6 to dialed in our alignment. Following with an adjustable short shifter from @hybridracing and we finished off with a new strut bar from SiriMoto CF Front strut bar.

Yo guys nice stuff ! My 1 car was an Acura Integra GSR, so have a soft spot for Acura but i fall in the AWD in VW Golf R, and im jalouse cuz to change the shifter its undo from the bottom of the body. So exhaust, driveshaft and heat shield have to come off. Big job. Undoing from the top like you do in the video the engineering is pretty good ! A1 for Honda !

Great content as always. Quick question as I am interested in swapping out the l-shaped leather trim piece that wraps around the glove box to the shifter console from black to red if I can get ahold of the part. My question is does that piece just snap out and snap in with ease? No risk of ruining the area?
Love seeing that beautifully machined shifter, but I would be dropping french fries down the hole. (JK - french fries are not allowed in my Type R, haha)

Comparison reasons for why
I wanted to ask. I know this generation has a valve on the exhaust. But I have the FK8 and am looking to some similar down low tone sound from my exhaust but not loud like aftermarket ones. I have the AWE touring but I prefer this nice tone instead. Anything done ? does the car have stock exhaust? I currently do have a MAP downpipe and PRL frontpipe and many more mods lol but looking for something like this for exhaust sounds. Basically that doesn't kill me with noice when trying to chill driving lol

My son has a 2023 Integra Type S and has had a problem with rattle noises. He has had it in the dealer a few times, but a couple still seems to be there. Have you had any luck repairing the rattle noises....and where were they located?
Why in the test drive is the gear shift knob different? I thought y’all replaced it in the video?
If I left my shift boot off, it would be full of filthy bric-a-brac within days. 😂

turbo blanket, I understand why but doesn't it worn out the turbo faster so isn't it better to not to covered for longevity?
No. Turbo blankets generally don't have that problem. Actual header and exhaust wrap does. In part because it's soaked in water when wrapping, and also in part of how it's applied tight leaving no room for moisture to escape.
They're gonna have to send me the bigger bracket because it's touching my AC Line.😮
