Thank you, Scott, for the great Little River Band requests, they are great songs, I actually grew up listening to The Little River Band, I am a huge fan. I'm wondering if I did the Buy me a cup of coffee requests right.

Definitely have to listen to the album version because there was a shortened radio version. We had a really good album rock station in Birmingham in the 70s that always played the album version.
When I was very young, I happened to show up at a ticketron outlet at the mall to buy Ted Nugent tickets just as they were opening up the orchestra pit for ticket sales at a Little River Band/Ambrosia concert that night because all the regular seats had sold out. My gf at the time loved Ambrosia, so I bought two seats dead center right in front of the front row, on the very day of the show. It turned out to be one of the best concerts I ever went to.
I’ve been asking every reactor I watch to do this song. Thx Scott for footing the bill! This was the first song Americans heard from LRB… and paved the way for them here. To me and my friends in that era, we called them the Aussie Doobie Brothers - lots of band members, great musicianship, great vocals and harmonies… and a kind of country rock feeling. I saw them live in the late 70’s or 1980. And they could all sing, and were just about recording-perfect live! Like the Doobs, Hall&Oates, and Kansas… they were worth 10x the cost of a ticket (which then was less than 10 bucks) to see live!
Thank you for this song. My brother passed away exactly two years ago, and he’s the one who introduced us to this band. Every time I hear LRB, I think of him. He’s saying hello to us ❤

Beeb Birtles, one of the founding members of LRB, was in a band called Zoot in the late 60s-early 70s. One of his band mates was Rick Springfield, who moved to America around '70 or '71, before Birtles helped form the LRB. One of Zoot's most memorable songs was a heavy version of the Beatles' Eleanor Rigby.
My very first concert in '77 when I was 13. They were opening for Boz Skaggs and they opened with this song. It's my favorite LRB song, it was sooo great! Boz was good too!
Holey Rock n Rolla! That was fantastic! I remember the band and their hits Reminiscing and Lady. But this must be new to me. I am blown away. Absolutely grateful to NickNLex and their awesome supporters.
What an introduction to LRB! A classic song of Graeme Goble's repertoire from 1972 while he was in the group 'Mississippi'. As it happens the group was changed to Little River Band because it was more a 'local' thing and the name cones from a town not far from Geelong in Victoria. This song has fantastic guitar work from Rick Formosa with Glenn Shorrock's gentle vocals underpinned by the great harmonies of Beeb Birtles, Graeme Goble and Derek Pellucci. Similarities with CSN and the Doobies may be made but I think LRB are unique in the world of Australian folk-rock music. Thanks for playing.
I first heard this song in Germany when I was stationed there in 75 in the army. I have several other albums that I explored, they're worth investigating I think you'll find him classy
Wow Nick and Lex this was such a joy to see you both react to this amazing song… thanks so much!!! Of course the vocals are stellar but for me the guitar work was out of this world. The way the guitarist played riffs throughout the whole song and doing clap backs at the vocal runs was plain musical art!!!❤❤❤
I saw these guys in 1983 in rural Alabama in the middle of a pasture performing on a flatbed trailer! If that sounds ridiculous, it was! I know they had several hits, but I don’t think they were ever given the accolades they were due! Certainly a top ten all time in my humble opinion!
Love the LRB. Saw them in the UK back in the late 70's. Awesome. Look forward to hearing more reactions from you on the LRB! What a voice Glen Shorock and those harmonies 😊 Check out their track Lonesome Loser
I´m 61, but have to confess, I heard this first in the late 80s. But since then, it´s top three of my all time favorites. Thanks for reacting and greetings from Munich
Saw L.R.B. on a sun baked September afternoon at a minor league baseball park as the middle act along with Heart and Bob Welch. They looked like some guys just jumped on stage from the audience. Very casual. Even though I was only 12 at the time I remember it well. The lead guitar player was a tall guy wearing glasses. He had the best tone, before I knew about tone. The lead singer had a great voice and good repor with the crowd. Even though it was the day I fell in love with Heart, it was also the day I became a fan of The Little River Band. Side note: not long after this show, one of the local TV stations would play their song 'Shut Down, Turn Off' at the end of the broadcast day.✌️
Hello, the guitar player playing all the leads and solo is Ric Formosa. There is an interview with him on RUclips and he explained that he had the flu and when they recorded this song, it was done on one take. He said if he did it right the first time he could go home because he was sick....... Wow... right?
Sadly the original members have been legally blocked from performing under the Little River Band name because they no longer control the trademark after it was sold off in the late 1990s
The original band members all came up with the idea that Little River Band lives on, with or without it's members. They are the ones that came up with the idea that if you left you couldn't perform the songs, or as Little River Band.
That is really sad and very tragic! I've heard of other artists going through this as well! Irene Cara comes to mind, although she did some sort of compensation, but obviously not the amount she was actually due! Lou Grahm, the former lead singer of Foreigner getting back stabbed by the bloody bastard Mick Jones, unfortunately among many other examples! Can you disclose details on LRB's sad situation! Only if you're willing to! Thanks and have a good one!
it was secretly bought off, not sold, by international ex band members when they realised that the founders of the band had not put a legal hold on the name. There was plenty of petty excuses used and the idiot and probably corrupt US judge actively allowed the theft of the Intellectual Property of the three founders. They only managed to get one thing out of it, the traitors could only play music that had their name in the credits which was a massive kick to them since it forbid them from playing over 3/4 of the groups songs. Those musicans were good, but they were nowhere remotely in the same league as Gobel, Birtles and Shorrock. The name LRB is now reguarded as trash and no one will go anywhere near it. They also burnt a lot of bridges in Australia at the betrayal and blatant theft. No other aussie musician will have anything to do with them anymore. They got themselves Blacklisted. All the while the three founders are now known as B.S.G. and play ALL their songs under the new band name that they put a legal lock on.
Beeb Birtles lived around the corner from us when I was growing up here in Melbourne. We go through Little River on our way to Geelong to see our grandchildren. Very connected to this band! Graham Goble did a lot of work with our GOAT John Farnham ( who also was lead singer for LRB in the early 80s when Glen Shorrock stepped back for a bit!) Thanks for the love!
Had this album when it was first out when I was a teenager and played it in my backyard "shed" that was turned into a neighborhood gathering spot among friends. And this LRB was blaring our nights of fun times. This was the stuff!
A “real” masterpiece. Every element, every section, every note….impeccable. A delight in every respect. This song will never be irrelevant. When try,y great music is played, this piece must be included. Thank you for reminding us of what genius sounds like. 🙏🎸🎶😎🇨🇦
It was the first song I ever heard of this band, and it was the best song, IMHO of the Little River Band and all, in 1976 ! Just ProgRock of a real Master class !!!
@DFreela . If you're hoping to hear "this particular song, sounding this particular way" in August,..... You'll be sadly disappointed..... Unless the "USA Little River Band" has managed to find 3 men who sound exactly like "Birtles, Shorrock, Gobles" did in July 2003 when this particular recording was made. Search RUclips for "Full Circle It's A Long Way There" to watch and listen to magic !!!
One of the best bands ever great many pieces they wrote and performed ....I call them the aussie EAGLES awesome harmonies and structure great live as well ...having seen both bands live several times ...as good as it gets ....you guys have an awesome show 👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯🇺🇲☮️♥️
Riccardo Formosa was born in Rome, but spent his formative years in Montreal, Canada. In 1974 he emigrated to Australia where he found employment as a commercial music arranger and studio musician. Formosa was also a founding member of the Little River Band, for whom he wrote studio arrangements and played lead guitar on tours and two successful albums in 1975-76. Formosa commenced a Bachelor of Music degree in 1979 at the NSW State Conservatorium of Music, studying under Martin Wesley-Smith and Don Banks, but abandoned the course the following year. He continued his studies privately with Richard Toop before returning to Italy in 1982 as the recipient of an Australia Council Fellowship. He was awarded a further Fellowship in 1983, which allowed him to continue his studies with Franco Donatoni at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome (from whence he graduated with distinction) and at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. While in Siena he also took the opportunity to attend Franco Ferrara's masterclasses in conducting. Formosa has continued to work as an arranger, conductor and studio musician for recordings, radio and television. He became Artistic Director of Melbourne New Music, an organisation run by the Victorian College of the Arts and the Victorian Arts Studio, on his return to Australia in 1983, and was composer-in-residence with Musica Viva in 1986. Formosa's compositions were selected to represent Australia at the four ISCM World Music Days held in Canada, Holland, Hungary and West Germany between 1984 and 1987, and also at the 1984 Paris International Composers' Rostrum, the 1986 Gaudeamus International Music Festival in Amsterdam and the Buffalo New Music Festival in the USA in 1989. His music has been performed by such ensembles as the Gaudeamus Quartet, the Tokyo City Philharmonic, the Hungarian Radio Orchestra, and the Seymour Group. In 1988 Riccardo Formosa was the winner of the John Bishop Memorial Prize, other awards including the Gold Lion Award from the Cannes Advertising Festival and the Mobius Award (Chicago) for the original music score for 'Best International Television Commercial' in 1991, and many Australian FACTS and Art Directors' Club awards for original music in Media and Advertising. best unknown guitarist
Thanks so much for the extended bio on Ric. He is just unbelievable on this. After nearly 50 years listening to this song God knows how many times, I still shake my head at his lead playing. Just amazing.
I have been watching your reactions for a while now and I love the way you want to concentrate on the music rather than watching a video (even though there are some great videos that need to be seen, especially live versions) but watching your excitement and enthusiasm to listen to essentially what is often close to my record collection, my youth, my life, almost brings a tear on how much you are getting to know and appreciate fantastic music from the 60s, 70's and 80's. Not that there hasn't been great music from to 90's until now, just not enough of it to stop me needing to go back to the music of my youth. Watching you two is like watching two kids in a candy store as there are so many yummy choices you hardly know where to start because you want to try all the good ones. Enjoy the ride because it's a long way there to where you're going before you've had your fill.
The original LRB were an amazing band with great pedigrees. Singer Glenn Shorrock had been in The Twighlights and Axiom (Axiom had a big hits here in Australia with A Little Ray Of Sunshine and Arkansas Grass, vocals were shared with Brian Cadd). Beep Birtles had been in Zoot along with Daryl Cotton and Rick Springfield (Rick moved to the US and did tv as well as had a big hit with Jessie's Girl). Graham Gobbles and Beep were in a band called Mississippi who had a brilliant song called Kings of the World. If you listen to it, you will hear the kind of harmonies LRB became famous for.
Ric Formosa the lead guitarist revealed in an interview that the guitar solo was one take. He was sick and wanted to go home. That’s how good they were.
Been a big fan of LRB for many years and this fabulous song just highlights their greatness and strength in-depth. I always give a special mention to the phenomenal lead guitar work of Ric Formosa who just never seems to get the credit he deserves.
Seen them open up for Seals & Crofts in '91. In Devon, PA. It's about 15 miles from Philadelphia. It was a little circular center, that had a center circle stage that rotated. But they were just as good S&C.Oh & yes, they did play this song. awesome show
LRB was my first live concert I ever attended way back in 1978 (I was 17 and yeah I’m old) and I remember this song like it was yesterday. my reaction was just like yours
It was a great venue. Torn down in '96 or '97. Real shame. Held close to 3,000 and in the round with a rotating stage. Saw so many concerts there ranging from Rock to Jazz to Fusion to Prog to Country to Big Band. Northwest of Philly just outside of Valley Forge National Park in PA. It was a 15 to 20 minute drive from where I lived back then. Right next to a 'Steak and Ale' restaurant (remember that chain?). They'd let us park in their rear parking area, have dinner, walk right next door to the show (where alcohol was served) and then walk back over to the restaurant for a night cap and a snack or not. Was really an entertainment venue for adults. Here's a setlist from a concert 3 days later also in PA (Harrisburg) which would have been pretty much the same setlist that I heard/saw performed at Valley Forge, PA.. www.setlist.fm/setlist/little-river-band/1992/club-met-harrisburg-pa-5bcaab50.html 1.Happy Anniversary 2.It's a Long Way There 3.Take It Easy on Me 4.Man on Your Mind 5.Soul Searching 6.Reminiscing 7.Baby Come Back 8.The Bottom Line 9.Parallel Lines 10.Lonesome Loser 11.The Night Owls 12.Help Is on Its Way Encore: 13.Cool Change 14.The Wanderer (Dion cover) 15.Lady
@@paul-Ess There were 5 phases of the LRB. I saw the 4th phase...Troll. Go back and crawl under your rock. 1987-1998: Shorrock's return After Farnham's departure, Little River Band were in limbo until July 1987 when Pellicci and Shorrock returned at the request of Irving Azoff, the head of MCA Records, who wanted the band on his label.[52] The reformed group signed new management with Geoffrey Schuhkraft and Paul Palmer, who assisted the line-up of Goble, Housden, Nelson, Pellicci and Shorrock in establishing a holding company, We Two Pty. Ltd, with all members as directors in equal share.[44][53] Former manager Glenn Wheatley signed away rights to the band's name to the new company on 12 May 1988.[54][55][56] In July 1988, Pellicci described the group's previous two albums: "It was an overstatement to say the response to No Reins and Playing to Win was lukewarm - there was no response at all."[57] The revamped group with keyboardist James Roche[58] (Jamie Paddle)[59] performed at the opening of World Expo 88 in Brisbane on 30 April. They were joined by the Eagles' Glenn Frey, who also accompanied them that year on tour.[60] The group released their tenth studio album, Monsoon, in May 1988, which peaked at No. 9 on the Kent Music Report.[18] It was co-produced by Boylan and Goble.[3] The Canberra Times' Lisa Wallace was disappointed by its lack of innovation despite showing technical skills.[61] Its lead single, "Love Is a Bridge", co-written by Goble and Housden was released in April and peaked at No. 7 on the Kent Music Report.[18] It was their second highest charting single in the Australian market,[2] and a moderate Adult Contemporary radio hit in the US. In 1989 the group recorded "Listen to Your Heart", written by Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg, for the film soundtrack of The Karate Kid Part III.[citation needed] The eleventh studio album, Get Lucky, was released in April 1990. It was their last charting album in Australia and made the top 60.[62] Mike Boehm of the Los Angeles Times caught their gig in May, where "[Shorrock] was stiff and seemed stuck for words between songs. But he knew what to do when the music started, singing in a comfortably husky voice that resembled Phil Collins in tone and easy pop appeal. [Nelson], the group's Californian, generated more heat in his two lead vocal turns. The three-part harmonies behind Shorrock were exemplary, although the Crosby, Stills & Nash parallels were unmistakable. Lead guitarist [Housden] reinforced the emphasis on melody with his clean, lyrical lines."[63] MCA released a compilation album, Worldwide Love, of tracks from the previous two LPs on their Curb Records imprint in June 1991. Both Get Lucky and Worldwide Love peaked in the top 40 on the Swiss Hitparade;[64] with the latter also appearing on the Ö3 Austria Top 40.[65] Goble had ceased touring with the group in 1989 and left altogether by 1992,[2] as well as resigning from We Two.[66] Peter Beckett (ex-Player) joined in 1989 to take Goble's place. The group went through a series of keyboard players, including Tony Sciuto (1990-1992, 1993-1997) and Richard Bryant (1992-1993, ex-the Doobie Brothers).[3] In September 1992, Nelson's daughter was killed in a traffic collision in San Diego while he was on tour with the band in Europe.[67] Nelson immediately returned home and Hal Tupaea substituted on bass guitar for the New Zealand dates of the band's tour in November 1993.[3][68][69]: 200-201 Little River Band subsequently took a break until Nelson's return in 1994 and embarked on a four-and-a-half month 20th anniversary US tour in 1995.[69]: 211-212 [68] Shorrock left again in 1996: he was offered the option to buy out the remaining members of We Two Pty. Ltd.[70] He took a one-third share of the monetary value of the company as he did not want to commit to the band's US touring schedule. Shorrock was replaced on lead vocals by Melbourne singer Steve Wade (ex-Dolphin Street).[2][3] Nelson also left in 1996 and Tupaea returned on bass guitar.[3] This line-up lasted until late 1997, when everyone, except Housden and Wade, started to leave, including Pellicci, who left again that December.[2][3][4] The departure of all original directors left Housden as the sole owner of We Two Pty Ltd and the Little River Band's name and trademarks.
Yep, an absolute classic that has everything. Ric Formosa the lead guitarist was Canadian. One of the greatest lead guitar performances of all time, and as has been mentioned, he had a bad cold, did it in one take then went home to bed! These guys were great musicians. Long live LRB.
I was gonna say the same thing. Ric Formosa is (I think) a Canadian/Italian/Australian. Anyway he’s a fantastic guitarist and made a great contribution to LRB.
Hey Guys! If Reminiscing is the only song you’ve heard of ….well then you Really have to delve into more! They’ve got quite a few awesome songs! LRB along with America, Ambrosia, Steely Dan…All Excellent Feel Good, Easy Listening Bands! Throw them on in a mix and tool around-cruising, cleaning, cookout, party, yard work..and smile and groove!❤
Absolutely love this. Agreed that as their first album it's a brilliant here we are! None of the original members are in the band. There are no Australians in the band touring atm.
SCOTT! That was the 1st song I heard from them that got radio airplay in 1976! I was shocked when they went from that sound to the top40 hits afterwards
The man playing the guitar in this song is Rick Formosa. He was only with the band for a short time. Fabulous guitar player - one of the best well certainly in Australia.
Ric Formosa all leads, and guitar solo had the flu at the time and did this is one take according to him. There's a RUclips interview with him where he talks about recording this.

In my opinion this is LRB's best song.
100%.
I agree! It’s a masterpiece imo
Does this tune give you chills ? It's such a great roadtrip tune. I graduated from high school in 1975. I still have the OG vinyl LP.
yep in the car from broken hill to wilcannia in 50 degree celcius heat with lrb & the heater on.
Ricardo Formosa. Absolute gun guitarist. Next level
One of the greatest lead performances ever I reckon. And he did it with a cold and went home to bed straight after. Amazing.
I believe this is one of the best songs written .I have been listening to this record since I bought it in 1975 .

Glen Fry of the Eagles called The Little River Band the number 1 harmonizing band on earth and he performed with LRB

Saw these guys do this in 1978 I was 16 years old. Won the tickets off our radio station, epic...
Also Lex as beautiful as ever
I found the name of the three founding member who are touring now as well, Birtles, Sherrock and Goble.
Yep, and Glenn Shorrock still says “we’re not the Little River Band, but we bloody well sound like them”… 😂
I first heard this song in Germany when I was stationed there in 75 in the army.
The best thing they've ever done in my opinion. CSN influence.
I saw these guys in 1983 in rural Alabama in the middle of a pasture performing on a flatbed trailer! If that sounds ridiculous, it was! I know they had several hits, but I don’t think they were ever given the accolades they were due! Certainly a top ten all time in my humble opinion!
A lot of the guitar Work reminded me of Atlanta rhythm section
YES!!! It was in my head but couldn't place the Sound! Good Call!!
Side note: not long after this show, one of the local TV stations would play their song 'Shut Down, Turn Off' at the end of the broadcast day.✌️
I SAW THE SAME TOUR IN VANCOUVER IN AUG. '79!
Sometimes you make decisions that are influenced by a poor mental state at the time. Burn out comes to mind.
Yeah they made a huge mistake and realize this now to an ex member
Glenn Frey of the Eagles once said that LRB was the best vocal band in Rock !!!
He actually jammed with them at one time
Wow I’ve never heard this longer version! Absolutely fantastic! Thanks!
Great, great harmonies, guitar playing and drumming. One of my all- time favorite songs! So glad you got around to reacting to it.
The 70s 80s were Magical 👍🏴
This is the Best!!! So glad you guys got to this one! LRB has many great hits.
A “real” masterpiece. Every element, every section, every note….impeccable. A delight in every respect. This song will never be irrelevant. When try,y great music is played, this piece must be included. Thank you for reminding us of what genius sounds like. 🙏🎸🎶😎🇨🇦
I'm late to this party.
I've been wanting and hoping you two would react to this song.
It's awesome.
Thx to Scott for suggesting it.
Finally ❤
Perfection
It was the first song I ever heard of this band, and it was the best song, IMHO of the Little River Band and all, in 1976 ! Just ProgRock of a real Master class !!!
My favorite Little River band song. Just bought tickets yesterday to their August concert in Canandaigua, NY
They are simply a cover band nowadays. I don’t think there are any aussies left in it.
You just wasted your $$$$$ on a bunch of imposters
Not a single original member in it. None of the people who created and recorded this music.
This song definitely got a ton of radio play when it came out.
Best of the Little River Band.
We danced a lot to this in a club in a little town in Germany in the early 80s. A great song!
Little River Band...One of the if not most wonderful Aussie bands ever.
One of my favorite songs of all time ... I lived close to "Little River" when the Little River Band first came out. Amazing musicians!!
Saw them in concert in the mid 90's. They didn't miss a beat, amazing.
Thank you so much for your support. It means so much!!
Awesome reactions guys... Thank you for the appreciation of this song, and the band itself.....
Cheerio from Down Under 🌺🙏🏽
An incredible song, excellent reaction 😊😊😊
Such a heart felt reaction guys. 'Just another' classic Aussie band from the 1970's. Cheers from Sydney, AU.
Thanks for this. I forgot how good this song is. Saw them live around 81. They don't disappoint.
G'day guys👋 ..you have so many more exceptional tracks from LRB to get emersed in 👍👍👍
✌️🇦🇺
One of the GOAT songs!
Hehe, you guys are so in sync, very cute❤
Yes, how awesome was that. He's an absolute legend guitar player. Amazing solos in this song.
Fantastic band, great song after great song!
But they were just as good S&C.Oh & yes, they did play this song. awesome show
Just went for a walk with Toby the dog here in Portugal at sunset. 3 kilometres isn't quite a long way but the song was timely.
So good. Amazing. Best song imo.
My very fav LRB tune. Thanks!
Great harmonies, killer guitar work. Just a fabulous group.
LRB was my first live concert I ever attended way back in 1978 (I was 17 and yeah I’m old) and I remember this song like it was yesterday. my reaction was just like yours
Rick Beato the famous RUclipsr rated LRB in his top 10 harmonizing bands of all-time!
If Lex were my daughter, I would be so proud. She understands music. Don't let her go, Nick; you will regret it.
And now for the greatest number of guitar riffs and solos... Just brilliant!
such a great song from true musicians
I saw the River Band on August 22, 1992 at the Valley Forge Music Fair. They opened for Electric Light Orchestra II. Great show.
Sounds like a hell of a concert.

There were 5 phases of the LRB. I saw the 4th phase...Troll. Go back and crawl under your rock.
1987-1998: Shorrock's return
After Farnham's departure, Little River Band were in limbo until July 1987 when Pellicci and Shorrock returned at the request of Irving Azoff, the head of MCA Records, who wanted the band on his label.[52] The reformed group signed new management with Geoffrey Schuhkraft and Paul Palmer, who assisted the line-up of Goble, Housden, Nelson, Pellicci and Shorrock in establishing a holding company, We Two Pty. Ltd, with all members as directors in equal share.[44][53] Former manager Glenn Wheatley signed away rights to the band's name to the new company on 12 May 1988.[54][55][56]
In July 1988, Pellicci described the group's previous two albums: "It was an overstatement to say the response to No Reins and Playing to Win was lukewarm - there was no response at all."[57] The revamped group with keyboardist James Roche[58] (Jamie Paddle)[59] performed at the opening of World Expo 88 in Brisbane on 30 April. They were joined by the Eagles' Glenn Frey, who also accompanied them that year on tour.[60]
The group released their tenth studio album, Monsoon, in May 1988, which peaked at No.
In 1989 the group recorded "Listen to Your Heart", written by Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg, for the film soundtrack of The Karate Kid Part III.[citation needed]
The eleventh studio album, Get Lucky, was released in April 1990. Lead guitarist [Housden] reinforced the emphasis on melody with his clean, lyrical lines."[63]
MCA released a compilation album, Worldwide Love, of tracks from the previous two LPs on their Curb Records imprint in June 1991. The group went through a series of keyboard players, including Tony Sciuto (1990-1992, 1993-1997) and Richard Bryant (1992-1993, ex-the Doobie Brothers).[3]
In September 1992, Nelson's daughter was killed in a traffic collision in San Diego while he was on tour with the band in Europe.[67] Nelson immediately returned home and Hal Tupaea substituted on bass guitar for the New Zealand dates of the band's tour in November 1993.[3][68][69]: 200-201 Little River Band subsequently took a break until Nelson's return in 1994 and embarked on a four-and-a-half month 20th anniversary US tour in 1995.[69]: 211-212 [68]
Shorrock left again in 1996: he was offered the option to buy out the remaining members of We Two Pty.
@@bmac1205 YOU SEEN THE FAKE BAND CLOWN!
Welcome to one of my favorite bands of all time. Have almost everything they recorded .
LRB was once of my favourite bands from the 70's. I would characterize them as silky smooth and sublime. Good choice!
Reminising, Light of day, It's a long way home, 3 great great songs, I can't wait until you guys check out more.
I was so lucky to be able to sing with Little River Band 20 years ago.... I remember it like it happened yesterday 😊
20 years ago was the current version..not the classic lineup
Hey Guys! If Reminiscing is the only song you’ve heard of ….well then you Really have to delve into more! They’ve got quite a few awesome songs! LRB along with America, Ambrosia, Steely Dan…All
Excellent Feel Good, Easy Listening Bands! Throw them on in a mix and tool around-cruising, cleaning, cookout, party, yard work..and smile and groove!❤
Rick Formosa on guitar
Absolutely love this. Agreed that as their first album it's a brilliant here we are!
None of the original members are in the band. There are no Australians in the band touring atm.
SCOTT! That was the 1st song I heard from them that got radio airplay in 1976! I was shocked when they went from that sound to the top40 hits afterwards
Thank You from Australia..!!
The man playing the guitar in this song is Rick Formosa. He was only with the band for a short time. Fabulous guitar player - one of the best well certainly in Australia.
Loved this when it came out. Saw them live, excellent!
Little River band came on the scene when I was a senior!! I had this 8 track and wore it out!! Loved them!!❤❤❤❤
Ric Formosa all leads, and guitar solo had the flu at the time and did this is one take according to him. There's a RUclips interview with him where he talks about recording this.
