It's incomprehensible "lefty logic" - it only makes sense if you religiously believe logic is a tool of oppressive tyrranical patriarchy and good people should shun it. But basic justification is that USA is ethnically diverse, and it's #1 country. Just this, nothing else. No reflection given to either other reasons that might explain US, or situation of other countries that are shitholes because they are diverse. Simply a logic fallacy. Actually, it just might be #1 argument in history in category of encompassing multiple logic fallacies,
My take: post WW2 Nazi regime, racism and discrimination = evil. It's colored our culture and media. Therefore, any anti-diversity is apparent to Naziism.
@Kvothe Windrunner Theirs is not even a neutral stance on this, left is actually hostlile to diversity of thought, opinion, or even racial diversity in non-white regions.
Let's be fair to the left. They use "diversity" as a shorthand for "fairness," which we can all agree is a good thing. Problem is, they then treat "fairness" as if it were identical to "equality of outcome." This is not only impossible, but also undesirable. We can all agree that any organisation - a university or a large corporation - ought to have _some_ representatives of each minority or "section" of the population (women are _not_ a minority, except in the boardroom and the science lab): if there are none, that would smell suspiciously like discrimination. But to demand that each minority be represented in the same proportion as in the population at large is simply illogical, for a large number of reasons, most of which Dr. Peterson has pointed out on innumerable occasions. But the lefties just don't listen. I'll leave you to work out why.
A very good explanation of Peterson's (And Camille Paglia's) observation of ancient female symbology as nature or chaos, I heard Paglia say it first back in the 90s but Peterson's hierarchy ideas seem to bring the both clearer, AND at the same time make us seem that much more human. We're a balance between chaos and order. And I mean human as a species that comes from and still is part of the eco-system we evolved in.
I used to think that a woman is associated with chaos because she's the party that brings life to our world. I didn't associate it with natural selection, which is more indirectly connected. But then you have an interesting dynamic with the child involved. The feminine maternal aspect brings them order, sheltering them from the chaos, while the masculine paternal role calls out the Heroic aspect to challenge the chaos.
@@t3hsourcey I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I wouldn't call evolution indirect. Both Paglia and Peterson apply evolution to their premise's, most other do not. and to not include evolution when you're talking about animal behavior is missing the largest piece of the puzzle. My point is we're a product of our environment.
Probs the reason you understood Peterson better was because Paglia focuses on the daemonic nature of the feminine. Plus her explosive rhetoric goes all over the place (not that it's wrong, she manages to condense her tangents and weave them together at the end).
@@nelsonhernandez3259 Actually their two ideas flow very well to one another. Paglia's first book looked at art and sexuality down through time, the mystery of birth, ovulation cycles, lunar cycles PMS, made women seem mysterious and more a part of nature than the men trying to conquer nature. Paglia's book tracked art from prehistoric times forward, and elucidated on her ideas on the balance between men's struggle with nature. Peterson's hierarchies, natural occuring sorting between members of a group or tribe struggling for survival make far more logical sense than anything Athropology has yet theorized.
Jordan and Christina..it goes without saying they are amazing. But Danielle..wrote one of my favorite books that I happened upon by chance when I was 13 or 14. “What our mothers know”. Excellent book.
That was a delightful, and yet quite different from the conversation than I've seen with Jordan. I can't exactly put my finger on what makes it different, but I like it.
It's the equivalent of women-led brunch pep talk. It looks (at least for men) boring and superfluous. What you 'feel' different is the female-led focus on a conversation : simple, dynamic, ever-changing and empathy-driven, not hyperfocused or intellectually driven. It's more social rather than formal.
Nelson Hernandez MajesticDemonLord That must be it : it's more empathy driven Whereas the feminazis that interviewed him in the past despised him, so they had zero empathy towards him.
What a refreshing change. I've been waiting so long for a woman (and we get two) to sit down with JBP and have a friendly and understanding conversation that this interview literally brought me to tears. Thank you!
32:37 Danielle Crittenden: "When I was reading your book... There is nothing about it that is anti-female." Well, that's a refreshing comment. Peterson is actually not being called a sexist.
So far this has been one of the more exciting interviews for Prof. Jordan Peterson ... also a lot of respect for Christina Hoff Sommers for taking on this interview. A very balanced and beautiful interview and opened minded take on the relations on women and men
"also a lot of respect for Christina Hoff Sommers for taking on this interview"' I'm curious what makes you say that because I've seen enough of both of them to know this was going to be downright masterbatory for the both of them.
I was referring to the fact that P.J. is a target to a lot of people and C.H. also been the target of some harassment (some found on youtube during debates or speeches), and still they to go out and fight (through open discourse and dialog) for sanity and expose to all the lunacy of some people /organizations of questionable ideas and dangerous ideology. Here I was more respectful with C.H. because she is going in again and makes herself a target for harassment after some heat has died down to some degree. And indeed the interview was "masterbatory for the both of them" but I hope I made my previous statement more clear above.
I’ve been listening to Jordan for about 3 in a half maybe 4 years now. Ima black man jus pointing out since it seems the perception is only angry white men and women support him. I can say without a doubt between lectures and his book I’m currently reading he’s one of the few man that impacted my life in a positive way. Really cool to see him discussing with Christina to love her to
You can tell that these women are fascinated by what Dr. Peterson is saying. Because they didn't assume that whatever he's saying about them is insulting or condescending, they could listen, understand and realize the beauty of his words.
I did not want that to end. So great to see a COVERSATION... Instead of him being accustered and attacked. I'll be looking into the interviewer's too. It's difficult to find honest, well adjusted people, so when you find them, hold on for dear life.
The fascinating thing to watch in this video is how Christina responds when Jordan turns his legs away from her and towards Danielle. Her interruptions during the interview and fluttering display of feminine charm/aggression towards Danielle is a primal delight. Perhaps she's competing for the attention of the most dominant male.
1:04:51- Christina brings attention to herself, then accuses Danielle that she won't admit to being addicted to her cell phone and Danielle pushes back with her own observation. Also, 1:09:55 is a nice moment. too.
The US Army has this policy about if she has been drinking then she can't consent. The policy has been in place for nearly 20 years. I have always found this to be preposterous. Also it really seems to only really apply to women who have been drinking and not men.
I don't think need is the right word. But personally, I've found that women have enhanced my life immeasurably. Even the women a man should hate the most : a bankrupting ex-wife, has paid you the ultimate compliment if they've had your children.
I love that this wasn't "Jordan Peterson gets misunderstood again." I'm not even far in the video, but can tell these sensible women know how to properly record a conv in a wonderful way. Marvelous. .

I came here to listen to JP but came away with incredible respect for these two mature, intelligent, thoughtful and delightful women... I'm going to follow them now too. Thanks for expanding my group of thinkers to follow! :)
1:05:20 Our workplace held a survey last month and I was the only person under the age of 30 (I'm 28, born in 1990) who said they would rather talk on the phone than talk through text. Like, 14 other people between 20 and 30 (and even a few 30+ year olds) said they would rather text someone than talk on the phone.
This is the most enjoyable video I could ever see today. You two great people plus my favourite uncle JBP... all is right in the world today :-) Thanks.
LOVED this interview. These women are like members of the Babysitter's Club (Dating myself a bit lol) that grew up to get PHD's. Look how at ease the good doctor is and he actually was able to get into the real meat and potatoes of his life and philosophy. OUTSTANDING.
I'm going to remember that parenting technique. I've witnessed, first hand, what happens to children who don't learn how to regulate their emotions. It turns into them having terrible anger issues and having temper tantrums as an adult. Growing up I had to ask my parents for multiple Gameboys for Christmas. I remember one year, specifically, my mom asked me what I wanted and I asked for a Gameboy. She said "Didn't I just get you one last year?" to which I replied "Yeah, and my brother broke it." I've never, once, broken my own electronics, I've always had others break mine.
Christina Hoff tested, flirted and tried to sway JP. Hoff totally wanted to jump his bone. The invite to teach her pet was the best flirtatious inuendo of them all.. JP was both aware and careful in his words and body language. Good job man. Good job!

But the lefties just don't listen. I'll leave you to work out why.
It's negative lol
Am I the only person who thinks that Sommers has a gorgeous voice?
No. She speaks in a intelligent yet almost seductive way
Now that you mention it...
She' one of those women who just smashes right through the wall and stays hot for life.
I've just watched this on channel "Jordan B Peterson", glad you made english subtitles to this!
I'm from Poland and with subtitles I understand more.
Thank you so much for this! This is so helpful.
This is my favorite Jordan Peterson interview
mine too... this one, and the one with Dr Oz
I've been looking forward to a conversation between Jordan & Christina for some time. This did not disappoint.
Jordan's talk with Camille was excellent.
"Are you under control yet?" ... "RRRR NO NOT YET ... ARRRRR!" haha. This video should be seen more. More stories about children. More laughs. ;)
I’ve watched more Jordan Peterson vids than most. Having said that, this is one of the best discussions out there.
These women are angels. And as always dr JP is 👌
So
Much love ❤️
Jordan and Christina..it goes without saying they are amazing.
But Danielle..wrote one of my favorite books that I happened upon by chance when I was 13 or 14. “What our mothers know”. Excellent book.
That was a delightful, and yet quite different from the conversation than I've seen with Jordan.
I can't exactly put my finger on what makes it different, but I like it.
He's not treated like the enemy in the room and he doesn't have to be defensive.
He's relaxed and the ladies are sweet
It's one of the few times he's talking with Ladies who aren't bat-shit raving Feminazis
Nelson Hernandez
MajesticDemonLord
That must be it : it's more empathy driven
Whereas the feminazis that interviewed him in the past despised him, so they had zero empathy towards him.
Dr Jordan Peterson is the inverted Dr Gregory House
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
So true.
I think Jordan is better at this tho... Simply because House has plot armour sometimes, no other reason.
Yeah...
These are ideas worth spreading!
What a refreshing change. I've been waiting so long for a woman (and we get two) to sit down with JBP and have a friendly and understanding conversation that this interview literally brought me to tears. Thank you!
The best discussion of Doc. Finally a very cultured hosted, actually willing to listen to what he is to say
One of the best interviews to JP, what a pleasure, thank you ❤️
32:37 Danielle Crittenden: "When I was reading your book... There is nothing about it that is anti-female." Well, that's a refreshing comment. Peterson is actually not being called a sexist.
This has been one of the best I've seen in a while from Jordan. Different questions and information, and the women were a pleasure to listen to.
So far this has been one of the more exciting interviews for Prof. Jordan Peterson ... also a lot of respect for Christina Hoff Sommers for taking on this interview. A very balanced and beautiful interview and opened minded take on the relations on women and men
"also a lot of respect for Christina Hoff Sommers for taking on this interview"'
I'm curious what makes you say that because I've seen enough of both of them to know this was going to be downright masterbatory for the both of them.
Very much enjoyed this.
Great video. Three intelligent adults talking. Such a refreshing change from 'attack journalism', or people just rehearsing an ideological position.
Really cool to see him discussing with Christina to love her to
Great discussion and so refreshing.
Such a refreshing and informative conversation. Man I loved this
Christina Sommers came to my university, Brandeis. Absolutely wonderful woman. Disrespectfully mocked by my colleagues in the Q&A.
My internet parents are finally together
Go back to Mexico they should have never abandoned you at the border !
Great comment!
I feel you
@@foreverseethe no likes yet, brother? :(
@@bingosantamonica I was trolling. I'll leave it up though. No hate bro.
You can tell that these women are fascinated by what Dr. Peterson is saying. Because they didn't assume that whatever he's saying about them is insulting or condescending, they could listen, understand and realize the beauty of his words.
Interesting discussion between three adults with some life experience. Time well spent watching.
JBP is on fire. ....with an extremely riveting conversation with sir Roger Scruton and now this....#Canada's brand ambassador.
I did not want that to end. So great to see a COVERSATION... Instead of him being accustered and attacked. I'll be looking into the interviewer's too.
It's difficult to find honest, well adjusted people, so when you find them, hold on for dear life.
Remarkable discussion. I had to stop multiple times and take notes.
Good eye ;)
Can you add the time display when this happens🙏
1:04:51- Christina brings attention to herself, then accuses Danielle that she won't admit to being addicted to her cell phone and Danielle pushes back with her own observation. Also, 1:09:55 is a nice moment. too.
peak youtube comment!!!!
Whaaa...?
What a joy it is to listen to this. Mery Christmas everyone.
This was a refreshingly fun interview to watch of Jordan Peterson.
This was so pleasant.
The US Army has this policy about if she has been drinking then she can't consent. The policy has been in place for nearly 20 years.
I have always found this to be preposterous.
Also it really seems to only really apply to women who have been drinking and not men.
Best JBP interview in a while
1:09:45 😂😂 Christina Hoff Sommers has quite a quick witted sense of humour.
Delightful talk!
All this proves is that women need men and men need women. So choose wisely and treat kindly.
Marvelous. .
Amazing talk!! I didn't expect to find Peterson ideas on mating, birth control pill, dating and Tinder but finally! Beggins aprox 1:03:43. Tinder 1:0543
everyone, give this video thumbs up, so people get to know this interview and see jp and feminist women talk in this wonderful manner with each other! 🍀
I really enjoyed this interview. Been wanting to see Sommers and Peterson talk for a while now.
Just a amazing interview an lovely to hear these people talk:)!
Fabulous conversation. Just bloody brilliant.
This channel should have more subs. I tagget this on my ”watch later” this morning and now 13 hours later this has just 500 views.
Did you mean views?
Love this, Christina Sommers is very easy on the eyes to boot.
So refreshing to have a light-hearted yet not dumb-down conversation. Too often (not that I don't love them too) JP's debate are either highly intellectual or agenda driven conflicts. This is just charming.
This was such a treat, one of the best conversations ive seen to date.
This is 90 minutes of pure gold - on so many levels!
I wish there's a reference list every time Jordan speaks, so that I could also read his sources and cite them for others. Lol!
I love this conversation!!
Fantastic. Can't watch enough of Christina and Jordan.
So refreshing to see J|BP communicating with cooperative hosts.
I came here to listen to JP but came away with incredible respect for these two mature, intelligent, thoughtful and delightful women... I'm going to follow them now too. Thanks for expanding my group of thinkers to follow! :)
Yay! My favorite women-led podcast, AND Jordan Peterson. How great is this? Thank you, AEI!
You are forgetting, Dan D, that Dr. Peterson is literally Hitler:

Very good interview and interviewers.
I am always learning something new ....
Great great great interview
Wonderful talk !
They have a good humored podcast.
She said "Didn't I just get you one last year?" to which I replied "Yeah, and my brother broke it."
I've never, once, broken my own electronics, I've always had others break mine.
Best interview ever.
Great conversation, well managed and moved along. Nice job, CFH & DC!
"Intellectual dark web" and "man whisperer" damn🤣🤣 who came up with those they're genius
Great talk!
Christina Hoff tested, flirted and tried to sway JP. Hoff totally wanted to jump his bone. The invite to teach her pet was the best flirtatious inuendo of them all.. JP was both aware and careful in his words and body language. Good job man. Good job!
David Donaldson you are looking at things that are not there. Hoff acts like this on every debate/interview. Making silly remarks and questions.
I've been waiting for these 2 to get together!
