Now waiting on a PAR 3 medical director review. 4 moths of torture. Have two different surgeons saying I need surgery/ two MRI’s .. went for steroid injections that didn’t work !insurance company is ok with getting the surgery but WC said No twice ??? Now seeing IME doctor end of month. Twice in hospital and Surgon said he couldn’t do surgery because it’s not an emergency! WC says definition of Emergency is life or death ???? WC sucks !
yeah they do. I too had two mri's. Doc wants three surgeries to repair my wrist. IME agrees, but wc says it's pre existing??? wtf, never had problem before and my medical history confirms. And my lawyer sits on her hands and does nothing. Get a GOOD lawyer.
Great video. Question… if I start getting lingering stomach issues from the medicine that I received for pain, is that considered a consequential injury? Thx
@@cutter8293 the insurance company has been great with me and my lawyer . It’s Workmens Comp that denied surgery twice . And now I’m seeing IME doc on the 28th . So hopefully your correct that they will finally approve surgery 15 days from the 28th my lawyers don’t think so
I called for a consultation but the front desk denied me due to not being located in NY. I have had a hard time getting a lawyer and I have an IME appointment next week
@@rindershow212 my neck I got surgery 2022. I got my chack yesterday aug 21 2024 I might have to pay it back am still waiting for my main lawsuit to come.

My lawyalso said there is no timeline to actually get to the PAR review! Could be months !
That's not true. The NY WCB puts a time limit on it. My treatment was automatically approved if 15 days if the insurance company didn't challenge it.
