Great to know Indian is listening and making the positive changes. The fact that you would consider this bike speaks volumes. Look forward to more FTR videos.
@Donrudeboy I agree completely. I'm 5'9" and never considered an FTR because I couldn't stand the bike comfortably. Indian Motorcycle are being reactive to consumer's opinions. That speaks strongly for the company. I guarentee these changes improve FTR sales.
Great video BlockHead, the editing game has stepped up as well. I like how you included a snapshot of the previous episode and the way you're transitioning the scenes produces more of a television feel. It's good.
Its so cool to see how much Doodle has changed from the Triumph event last year. All the work she did getting confident on her bike at the taller height really shows. Just totally chill popping from foot to foot.
Great video; nice to see Indian pulling out the best marketing ideas and recognizing that Vloggers with significant followings are true influencers in motorcycling (cough...cough Harley? Momoa?). And great swag too for all of you. Ride safe, stay vigilant.
Indian has really stepped up their game. As much as I love a Harley, the fact that I can get all the mods and upgrades right out the door without any extra cost is really speaking volumes. I'm going to have to test ride one again.
Definitely gonna be trading in my 19 for a fully equipped 22 later on with a Saddlemen seat of course. Addressed a lot of issues I have with the 19. Not worried about losing the "uniqueness" of the 18 and 19 inch wheels. It's already plenty unique with its looks and sound
Awesome to see you riding where I live. I started riding last year I bought a 2020 softail lowrider after watching a review with you and captain Ana. I haven’t brought myself to ride the canyons yet but hopefully soon. Thanks for doing what you do!
When you realize you saw them on your way to the gun range. Then they went through your neighborhood, and sit at the bridge where you got rear ended! Really helps connect to the video
Man, I'm super stoked you highlighted my hometown in such a great way. It's so f'ing rad to see you ride around downtown. 🤣 The visuals are 10/10. Excellent video and great information on the new model!
This is one of my favorite videos of you man. I am a Floridian myself and i've been locked in that state for nearly my entire life and its so cool to see you go to these far lands and just ride in them man. Just so damn cool. I hope in the future we see you in the west more!
Just finished watching DDFM's video and loved your video as well. Very much looking forward to the additional content. Great shot of that one guy at the stop, doing the WTF reaction to the rear cylinder deactivation.
All 3 videos were well done. Looked like an amazing event. Really cool to see some of my favorite Vloggers on there as well. Thanks for the great content!
I gotta say, Motovlogging is the lifeline/future of motorcycles. I got into riding because of these last year. I hope the big American brands realize this, and treat all of y’all well.
i grew up in Miami and been living out in phoenix for 8 years. these landscapes never get old. recently got my moto endorsement and i can't wait to go enjoy those twisties. we're also only about 2 hours ride to get out of the desert and into more wooded areas and more twisties. beautiful state.
I lived in mesa for majority of my life leading up to moving in the military life. I knew where just about every road in this video was. I will say the routes that were used for the test ride was terrific. Those are all roads I used to ride my bike on back home.
Awesome seeing you in my backyard! Hopefully you all stopped in Tortilla Flat along your ride! Photo shoot pics came out great. Gold looked good in that AZ Sun!
So crazy seeing you in my stomping grounds and riding the rodes I tear up all the time! Rode right past my neighborhood on your way to TTF. Sick shots!
Great Review!!! REALLY makes me want to go back and try an FTR again! I REALLY wanted one when they were pre-production but once the original was released it just seemed like an over-weight trail bike to me....lowering it and adding a better suspension and correcting some of that throttle response will be AWESOME! Glad that you are getting recognized as a leader in Motorcycle community...thats SWEET!!!!
This video was noice!! The video editing, the content - nice man. Also, I'm leaning towards the new Indian FTR than the previous year model. Carbon looks sick!
Hey Blockhead! Great video and review. Beautiful scenery...I’ve never wanted to be a RUclipsr w over a million subscribers more than now seeing you guys enjoying all this...congrats! Keep up the great work! Cheers! 🏍😎☀️👌🤜🤛
I love this! I have been following for years and this one hits close to home. Literally! I live in Mesa AZ and do both these rides to the Salt River/Saguaro lake and the ride up to Canyon lake all the time!
Thanks for the great and non stop content! Your editing has become soooo much better from when you started! First class channel!!! This version of the FTR is definitely the bike for me! I thought the first version was but after sitting on it ... i was not in love! I cannot wait to test ride one!
Dang Block, your video editing on that intro was freakin awesome!!! Love it when you flex your editing skillz. 😎👍🏼 Nice ride review. I smell an FTR in the future for the next Blockhead Bike Giveaway.
So good Block! awesome video... Indian peeps seem to be really cool. Not so much corporate like the other guys .... BIKE COMPANYS NEED TO TAKE NOTICE...INDIAN is doing big things!!! I like it !!!
Great video. I saw another review for the FTR Where the rider complained about the heat generated from the engine. Is this still the case with 2022 models? Thanks
The ride through Apache Junction to Tortilla Flat past Canyon Lake is a wonderful ride. Last time I was there was in 1990, and I was on a 1982 Yamaha Virago 750 at the time. It is a great cruise, looks like you had plenty of fun.
Great video and awesome pictures. After watching this I want to feel how it is to ride the new 2022 FTR. I might have to call my Indian dealer for a test ride.
Spent the night in jail in Payson a couple of decades ago! Nice and clean. lol. DPS clocked me at about 125 on my '92 Ducati 750 Supersport going northbound on the Beeline. Fun times.
I rode the 2022 FTR S for 3 days and the 2021 BMW RnineT for 3 days. Ended up not liking the FTR. Fun as hell bike but id never own one. Clutch and low RPMs are super annoying. and it gets HOT even with the cylinder deactivation. Also I 100% felt the throttle twitching on the 2022.
I feel like the rear cylinder deactivation may become an issue in the future just like it has been with newer vehicles unless theres an option in the settings to turn it off
Really wanting this bike I love the looks and uniqueness of it but still hard to justify the $15k+ compared against other naked bike offerings from the Japanese 4.
They really need to do a version with a bigger tank, that 3.4gal tank is a deal breaker for me. I'm used to getting 150+mi to a tank on my current bike.
I got my dyna from there last year around late April. My bike overheat light came on when I was leaving PHX. Had to pull over for awhile for it to cool down
Great to know Indian is listening and making the positive changes.
This is what I like about this channel. Your not just Harley. 😊
I remember when this was just a tiny channel with less than 5k subscribers. And now he's testriding the new FTR in Arizona!
This was great! I loved the carbon! As always, your videos are so thorough!
We gotta get him to pick one up so you two can do some adv adventures!
Gotta luv the FTR.
Amazing review. Learning a ton from you and I was there lol
:"D same!!
Great video BlockHead, the editing game has stepped up as well. I like how you included a snapshot of the previous episode and the way you're transitioning the scenes produces more of a television feel. It's good.
Production quality has gone way up.
Its so cool to see how much Doodle has changed from the Triumph event last year. All the work she did getting confident on her bike at the taller height really shows. Just totally chill popping from foot to foot.
:D :D :D :D
Sweet!!! I think we all want this bike now!! :'D
Great video; nice to see Indian pulling out the best marketing ideas and recognizing that Vloggers with significant followings are true influencers in motorcycling (cough...cough Harley? Momoa?). And great swag too for all of you. Ride safe, stay vigilant.

Why didn't they have you switch bikes so that you could get a feel for all of them?
I need the new FTR Rally Black Smoke in my life !!!
When you realize you saw them on your way to the gun range. Then they went through your neighborhood, and sit at the bridge where you got rear ended! Really helps connect to the video
I hate getting rear ended on the bridge.
Man, I'm super stoked you highlighted my hometown in such a great way. It's so f'ing rad to see you ride around downtown. 🤣 The visuals are 10/10. Excellent video and great information on the new model!
10:57 who needs pictures when you have all of that amazing video! Another great review
This is one of my favorite videos of you man. I am a Floridian myself and i've been locked in that state for nearly my entire life and its so cool to see you go to these far lands and just ride in them man. Just so damn cool. I hope in the future we see you in the west more!
Need to plan you a riding trip my man!
Just finished watching DDFM's video and loved your video as well. Very much looking forward to the additional content. Great shot of that one guy at the stop, doing the WTF reaction to the rear cylinder deactivation.
Came on over here from Bo's review at C2W's channel and was quite blown away by the production. Slick. Sweet.
All 3 videos were well done. Looked like an amazing event. Really cool to see some of my favorite Vloggers on there as well. Thanks for the great content!
I’m so glad you’re on the base bike, the one I want! I have a thing for an analog dash 😍
It looks so much better
I gotta say, Motovlogging is the lifeline/future of motorcycles. I got into riding because of these last year. I hope the big American brands realize this, and treat all of y’all well.

Best rides are in the desert! I live just outside of Lake Mead National Park and 90% of my rides are in the desert! Great video!
I lived in mesa for majority of my life leading up to moving in the military life. I knew where just about every road in this video was. I will say the routes that were used for the test ride was terrific. Those are all roads I used to ride my bike on back home.
New rider, but I think I can handle this beautiful bike.
that was such a cool event! you covered it so well! very cool! especially that rolling photoshoot!
Block, those photoshoot pics turned out amazing. This must have been a crazy awesome experience.
Welcome to Arizona! You arrived at our prime riding season.
Great review!! Makes me want to go and test ride one. Stay safe out there.
Really had me thinking you were gonna say "Making my way downtown, walking fast. Faces pass and I'm home bound"
Still short shifting the Indian HD-style I see Block 😬 you gotta free those revs dude 🤘
Bravo on the editing. Very well done and you sure have improved over the years, man.
Awesome seeing you in my backyard! Hopefully you all stopped in Tortilla Flat along your ride! Photo shoot pics came out great. Gold looked good in that AZ Sun!
That Acropovic exhaust is a nice addition! I really like the FTR. Great video Block!
Marketing this is way better then anything I seen with Harley. So happy to see
When told to "tone down" test rides, some people tone down their test rides, Blockhead just flat out leaves the state.
So crazy seeing you in my stomping grounds and riding the rodes I tear up all the time! Rode right past my neighborhood on your way to TTF. Sick shots!
Lived near phoenix for more than 2 years now, and I can say, the only part of it I recognized was the picture of the skyline lol
They rode Bush Hwy/Ellsworth Rd and 88 to Tortilla Flat. If you haven't ridden these, get on it! They're staples of riding in the Phx area lol
Awesome cinematography and editing mate, thanks.
Man, that is so awesome you got the Indian Experience! Great video! Now where we at on the Scout Build? Asking for a friend...lol
Great review Block. The scenery was awesome, and the FTR is a REALLY nice bike.
Great Review!!! REALLY makes me want to go back and try an FTR again! FTR for getting to work and Challenger for getting across country would be great :D
Don’t ever think your boring us with a ride video! If your on a bike we want to see it!!
That carbon is a must have!!! This is going to be my next bike
Indian has done a good job with 2022 FTR
This video was noice!! The video editing, the content - nice man. Also, I'm leaning towards the new Indian FTR than the previous year model. Carbon looks sick!
Hopefully some day Block can stay out here and do some kind of meet up! Right now is a perfect time to be riding out here!
Omg yeeees part 2 is here !!! 🖤🖤✌🏻
Paused the video to say excellent intro, Blockhead!
The FTR has to be one of the most pretty motorcycles ever.
Good on Indian for inviting RUclipsrs, definitely some real world opinions on this bike. Just came over from DDFM.
Arizona is so awesome, I moved here in 2017 from Pennsylvania, and will never go back east!
One of the most wicked all arounders you can find. I need one.
Crazy HD hasn't tried to compete with it (not that they even could)
Great video! The production and transitions were enjoyable to stay the least!
Great video! Love the photos from Jordan. Also would love to see more collaborations with other RUclipsrs, like Doodle and DanDantheForeverMan
Nice ride review. I smell an FTR in the future for the next Blockhead Bike Giveaway.
oooh the edit on that B-roll was 👌.
Editing is on point. People should be paying you to do videos for them
All my favorite riders on channel. Awesome! :)
So good Block! awesome video... Indian peeps seem to be really cool. Not so much corporate like the other guys .... BIKE COMPANYS NEED TO TAKE NOTICE...INDIAN is doing big things!!! I like it !!!
watching this while waiting for shadetree premiere XD
I could be wrong but i swear i saw you on the I-10 that day. Love the channel bro
daaaaaam those pics were legit. and the bike looks/sounds sweet as well.
Awesome interview. I was loving the backdrop Better. Looked like some good riding
As always @BLOCKHEAD, very freaking epic!!! 🔥🔥🔥👊🏾
Great ride review of the FTR! 👍🏼 Thanks!
So for an episode like this, what size memory cards are in your cameras?
Awesome video man!
Great video and awesome pictures. After watching this I want to feel how it is to ride the new 2022 FTR. I might have to call my Indian dealer for a test ride.
Photographer got some bad ass shots. Looks like it was a cool experience.
Makin my way out of town, ridin fast, Harleys pass and I'm fun bound. Doo doo doo do dooo
Damn, you beat me to it
it is a bummer the fueltank is soooo small
Awesome video man, very informative! Question… what editing program do you use for your video editing? Looks great, transitions are super smooth.
Now this is a motorcycle company. Harley is bangin out spaceships from 1960 still.
Lake Rosevelt... great ride. I like to make the loop from Show Low to Payson, pass through lake rosevelt, to Globe, up back to Show Low.
Spent the night in jail in Payson a couple of decades ago! Nice and clean. lol. DPS clocked me at about 125 on my '92 Ducati 750 Supersport going northbound on the Beeline. Fun times.
I have a '19. Would love to ride one of the new ones back to back in the twisties! Nice vid.
Awesome video! That ftr is something else 🤙🏽
So Block what did you think of the dry harsh heat versus the humid heat? Also that is a beautiful bike too bad my eyes are on the new Indian Chief.
What do you think the engine heat will be like in the Florida summer?
I feel like the rear cylinder deactivation may become an issue in the future just like it has been with newer vehicles unless theres an option in the settings to turn it off
Great video. Lots of great riding areas
Dan Dan the fireman at 16 minutes looks like an old Harley rider in a big trip lol
Knew exactly where you drove through. Next time hopefully a meetup, love phoenix and it's places of art and food
Hmm now I’m stuck…was almost set on Triumph Speed 1200RS but now this…I’ll have to try both out of course 🤙
What lake was that you passed after the one-way bridge?
cool action shots love your videos brother. I hope to learn to ride someday.
Hey Blockhead, what helmet are you running there? looks awesome and im searching for a new one.
I got my dyna from there last year around late April. My bike overheat light came on when I was leaving PHX. Had to pull over for awhile for it to cool down
There's more to your story...
@@SmittyAZ not much. It cooled down to around 80 when I got closer to Payson. Cruised back home to colder weather.
What road is this at 18:00 and after? New to PHX.
