    Looking to get the 14 inch version, add a pinned and welded flash hider, and put a stock on it. Going to get spare parts and a can for it. What bullet weight works best?

    I'll never understand people logic with charging handles.
    AK, reciprocating handle: THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SHTF FIGHTING RIFLE!
    Bren 805, scar 16/17: guns great except for this stupid reciprocating charging handle, do not recommend for this reason lol

      The nice thing is this gives you the best of both worlds.

      I have them all reciprocating and not. I have this rifle as well as the scar series never bothered me one bit. To each their own though as I like them all. I understand people who really really run these rifles not wanting the charging handle to reciprocate…but for most people shooting at the range just having fun it doesn’t matter. This is a nice rifle for what it is.

      Bren does not have a reciprocating ch
      The bren also has a forward assist if you pull back the charging handle to the stuck bolt position, it locks so you can force into battery...
      The movement you see in the bolt handle channel is the top of the bolt moving on recoil cycling not the charging handle... I have 2 I can confirm 100%

    Do you have more video about this rifle? Any 3 gun match video with it?I am debating to get this or the 14".

      I've got a suppressed follow up video coming. There's some notable changes between the 16" rifle and the 14" pistol.

      Haven't shot much 77gn through it, but I'll say it'll eat anything I've put into it.

      I don't know about otm but 77 hpbt usually gets me 1 inch groupings @ 100 yards with my 1 x 8 - 24 scope. Hope it helps.

    How's the accuracy compared to a scar 16?

      I have not had a scar 16 in my hands to compare. The accuracy testing is at the end of the video.

    I hear lots of people say the second gas setting is for suppressed shooting, but it says in the instruction manual page 35 that the second setting is for " Adverse Conditions" like mud, water, frost, extremely dirty rifle, or type of ammo used. It doesn't say anything in the manual anywhere about shooting suppressed. I tried the second setting with hopes of getting mine to eat steal ammo. No Luck ! I've heard someone say the "OFF" setting is for you to drill out for your particular suppresser needs. I've never shot suppressed so i don't know if that even make sense or not.

    • @Gruntreviews
      @Gruntreviews  2 года назад +1

      The carbine gas system is different from the pistol gas system. The pistols have the adverse setting instead of the suppressed setting.

    • @nathanouellette3920

      @@Gruntreviews makes sense, all the pictures in the manual are of the pistol. Wish they would make a note of that in the manual. Thanks for the clarification.

    • @Gruntreviews
      @Gruntreviews  2 года назад +1

      I agree there. They definitely should've put an addendum in the manual for the carbines.

      @@Gruntreviews I've looked at a few online manuals and can't find where it says that. Are you able to upload your manual somehow?

    • @Gruntreviews
      @Gruntreviews  2 года назад

      It doesn't say it in the manual as they don't include a separate carbine manual (at least I didn't get one). I had to email CZ.
