Picking mine up tomorrow, can’t wait, first rifle and I spent the last month debating what my first would be. I was looking at the Tavor 7, Aug, PS90, SCAR, MCX, and the Bren 2.
Any of those would have been excellent except the PS90. With it being a smaller round it would be ideal for home defense. Not really for an do-all be-all type of rifle though.
Ahhhhh. Yeah, that's the downside to some of the IOP/PSP programs. We get shoved down the list. I believe IWI is the only one that prioritizes veteran/police purchases over dealers.

It's definitely a heck of a solid first rifle purchase.

Most IOP programs include veterans too. IWI definitely does veterans.
