I have always said CZ are without a doubt the BEST combat weapons made! I own several and prefer them over the popular brands on the market. I'd carry any of their products into combat and would not feel outgunned.

Hey the Czechs technically made the BREN gun arguably one of the best infantry support weapons ever made extremely reliable and accurate so it makes sense they would design a bad ass small arms platform and it sounds nice.

Yes, exactly; the Massoud was the 7.62 NATO rifle, not the Masada/ACR. Two different rifles. Magpul only sold Remington/Bushmaster the rights to the Masada, not the Massoud. The original designer of the Massoud retained the rights and brought it with him to KRG. KRG is getting close to releasing it as the FOX-42. They have already released the stock and handguard for it to be used on the ACR. The ACR can't fit a cartridge the size of 7.62 NATO/.308; it's an intermediate cartridge action size. Even if it could, Bushmaster can't make it in 7.62 NATO because they don't have the license to. And no, they did not "slump" on releasing the ACR in 6.8. The ACR is available from Bushmaster in 5.56 NATO, 6.8 SPC II, and .450 Bushmaster.
I just watched Military Arms Channels video on the Bren 2, and damn this is a rifle i want. Biggest things this has against the SCAR is no reciprocating charging handle and a built in bolt hold/release in the trigger guard

I own an 805 rifle and I must say, while some of the ergonomics are slightly off, I love the firearm and keep it as my weapon of choice for many situations. I can't wait to put my hands on the CZ BREN 2 BR and compare it to my HK417. Keep up the good work!

I picked up a 14" 76239 bren 2 and me and my buddies took it and my 14" 5.56 bren 2 out to the west desert and put 500 rounds through each one. All 500 rounds from the 762x39 were silver bear. I had 1 double feed out of all 500. Other than that 1 failure it is awesome! Super accurate with light recoil. The 5.56 Bren 2 was 210 rounds of xm193, 230 rounds of 62 gr silver bear soft points and 60 rounds of 62 gr fusion msr bonded soft points. 0 malfunctions and super accurate. 1 1/2" 5 shot groups with nikon m223 3-12 bdc scope. All i can say is wow!!!! Destroys my Scar 16's. Im selling all of them. No weird recoil or reciprocating charging handle and its balanced better and lighter. My only complaints is the wobble in the stock/brace adapter and I will fix that with a shim. No biggie. However I do have 1 big concern. Upon field stripping and cleaning I noticed an indentation on both trigger hammers where it is hitting the firing pin. Appears the firing pin metal is much harder than the steal in the trigger hammers. The indentation in the hammer of the 762x39 was quite a bit deeper than the 5.56. Man i love these better by far than my scars, m4a1, mk18, sig 556 xi, and so on. Soooooo Sweet Hope the triggers are not going to be an issue. Does anyone that has a bren 2 or an 805 have this issue?
Why are we just now hearing about this! The Bren 2 announcement came out at Shot 2017 and they talked about 556/7.62x39 (yawn) but the 7.62NATO is a whole different story!
Is it me, or is CZ turning into HK and FN with their hostility (or complete lack of regard) for commercial sales? They discontinued test targets for most firearms with no press release or dealer info last year. Dropped the first run of Bren 2’s the same way, no Bren 2M2 parts availability or info on conversions kits, and the buffer tube assembly is very lose fitting (absurd at the price point of close to $2000), and the Mlock is way too short on the pistols to do pretty much anything with them. Now they are saying at SHOT Show this year they are only releasing the .223/5.56 Bren 2 rifle this year, because they want to focus on LE sales for their BREN 2 BR. CZ needs to remember how much support the US has given there company over the last 30 plus years, that is all 🗽🇺🇸

I want CZ Bren 2 as the new ordnance rifle of the German armed forces. I like H&K and the new H&K 433 looks nice, but I doubt it will perform better than this nice one. I hope CZ participates in the public tender.

The Hungarian Gestamen arms company is developing several guns (rifles, pistols, LMGs, marksman rifles) for the military to replace the Bren.
Asi tím, že máme velké nároky, na to jak jsme malí. Bren 805 byl totální propadák a muselo se vyrobit tohle. Každopádně BREN 2 je opravdu pěkný a a dělá co má perfektně. Ale je úžasné jak takový malý stát dokáže patřit mezi nejlepší ve více ohledech. Ať je to sport,vynálezy, nebo výroba..... :)
Maybe sooner than we think since a lot of the BREN 2S's in 5.56 and 7.62x39 have already been bought up here in the states. I am still debating to get either 5.56 or 7.62 NATO... lol
Doesn't look like they have a folding brace yet, cz should make replacement barrel/piston available to aftermarket manufacters at a reasonable price so we can see new calibers quickly without being a huge cost to them

Polish have a nice rifle, but they have not fully adopted it and they are still using AKs/Beryls. Bren is an adopted military rifle in active service.

Bought a used 805 s1 in September, wish i had waited. Functions mostly fine and i do like it, but had some strange issues the last time i shot it.

The BR version only shoot .308 (7.62x51) obviously, the existing Pistol Bren 2 are modular that can shoot .223 and 7.62 AK round.
