Agreed. I feel like Brou purposefully took the PGs to spurn Nick, who didn't seem to notice he didn't have one. While Holiday has been inconsistent at times on the offensive side of the ball (more so earlier in his career), his two-way play value is undeniable.
I don't know how you can say point forward Scottie Pippen wouldn't work. It worked pretty well for the 6 time champion Bulls and he also played a decent amount of point for the Dream Team while Stockton was recovering from a broken leg.

But for all the years it was really always Scottie when it came to brining the ball up the court and initiating the offense. It was one of the first things Phil Jackson implemented to get Scottie more involved.

In the 91 finals mike averaged 11 assists per game. Later finals had pip doing most of the setup with Mike as the primary gunner.

He shot 45% from the field which was second worse on the team only ahead of Christian which Nick also has, 21% from 3 and like 68% free throws. Also had by far the most shot attempts but didn’t finish with the most points. So Brou #1 by far, Wildes #2 and Nick #3. Very poor showing from gambling carnival magician lookin guy.
