I love how this game looks exactly how it looked to me when I first played the original 10 years ago
some developers actually remake the game instead of cutting out all the stuff they dont like and calling that a remake. This game remakes the game while adding to it.
Except the propaganda with the bathroom nonesense and the changed graffiti. Give the leftists the little finger and you will get a beating with your own arm...

Well, not exactly. A couple of the models are different. Like the wheezer and the corruption. Still a good remake although I actually prefer the classic necromorph appearance and sounds.
I actually met Dante in real life! He was so nice that he broke my kneecaps with a lead pipe, fed me mercury, sold my feet pics for an undisclosed price, and sold my organs on the deep web! The nicest person I've ever met and I would love to run into him again!

That cutscene with the captain being turned into a necromorph right on top of you is epic gold :D My favorite in the whole game.

It's always impressive when Dante completes a challenge, but I do miss his old-style of voice overs and edits more than these live commentary type videos. But that's just my opinion so either way, GG!

Ya a lot of RUclipsrs are switching to this, I just close the videos out now. There are still RUclipsrs like Nerbit who put that effort in though. Dante was my absolute favorite so it sucks extra bad for to see these become the norm :/ hopefully will get a banger from him soon tho imma have faith

I was just watching anything on YT one night and came across this channel. It was the most entertaining channel I've randomly came across and the videos are actually worth it when watching after a bad hangover. Keep the videos coming Dante and may the force be with you.

A challenge like this is paradoxically both easy and hard- things like stasis and flinch from weapons allow for a degree of leniency when dealing with the Necromorphs, but at the same time, the game knows this, which is why all the enemies are super fast and spawn literally everywhere (on purpose).

Loved the addition of the OG Hunter theme on the first Hunter encounter. One of my favourite OSTs in the OG Dead Space.
Not only does he do absurd challenges he tells a story with it🙏
When I did my first play through of the remake, I did the easiest difficulty just to kinda enjoy the game, the story, weapons, scenery, etc.., and then moved on to the higher levels of play after. I’m glad I did that. It was a lot of fun. What a great remaster.

Its funny that back in the days I wasn’t able to play this game on hard difficulty. And now with the remake it looks better, feels better and I’m going hard on permadeath! Up until the point my game froze and I died. 😢 but anyway its a great game! ❤

I liked the remake a lot, I'm a big DS fan.
I even finally beat DS2 on hardcore mode a few months back finally while waiting for this to come out.
I’m surprised you didn’t go for impossible mode. I recently just got the platinum trophy and impossible mode was my last trophy. Definitely enjoyed plaything through it.

At 6:48 I was in the middle of playing Nier Automata while listening to this video. I seriously thought there was something wrong with my game audio when Pascal's Village OST stared playing while I was in the ruined city. It dawned on me a few seconds later that it was coming from your video lol
ya know, i was gonna ask if that was nier music i heard in the background, and then i read your description and you put the music in a playlist. You didn't have to do that and I appreciate you for it.
The OG title of this series is one of the only games I feel I could do a no damage run of. I played DS1 and 2 so much when I was younger that I memorized the spawns for the necromorphs. The best I ever did was getting to disc 2 on the second game while playing zealot difficulty without dying. Couldn't get past that though.

For my hard mode run of the game where I used just the plasma cutter, for I wanna say the first 3/4's of the game with moments of exception, I almost exclusively used the stasis, backhand and stomp technique, it was amazing.
