I tried beating Dying Light With Only Throwables... this challenge WAS NOT what I expected at all. FINALLY Dying Light 2 has been announced to release in December and I couldn't be more excited. The Dying Light 2 trailer looked insane and I can't wait to get my hands on that game. So basically this challenge was me trying to get by using any throwables I could find in the game. If I can throw it, it's fine to use.

Dying Light has to be the best first person zombie game I've ever played. It's a huge upgrade from the Dead Island games (which is from the same people who made this game, Techland) in the way you can do parkour, how you defeat the zombies, and a multitude of other factors. I've been addicted to this game since the day it came out so I'm very happy Techland is sponsoring me for the second time.

I love dying light, it’s my favorite zombie game ever. Ever think about doing a run like this in Dead Island? There’s a character who focuses on throwing weapons.

D.L is a brilliant zombie game.Only 1 I've found that I can actually do and enjoy it.
I was late to it so by time I brought it they had added the following which is a awesome DLC, love the addition of the buggy.Currently on my 5th playthru. I remember getting thru the pit part easy the 1st time yet I seemed to struggle the 2nd time thru,idk why.And that 1st night time chase still freaks me the fk out every time.

I've played from the beginning a few times recently and I too was shocked to see Rahim disappear, I found several times in the story that if you're quick you can catch out the NPC's before their cue 👍🏻

Yes, I've been holding off on the knife only challenge because that one's really going to kill my soul, but I think I can finally start it now
@@DanteRavioli I've heard from numerous speedrunners that VoS knife only is nearly impossible. It might be better to start on hard rather than get to the end and not be able to finish.

At 6:30 ish when you find those bandits, if you open one of the boxes in there I believe you can get a bunch of really strong throwing weapons and grenades in there

Dying light was always a game me and my group reinstalled every 2 years or so, just to play through it again, and it was a blast every time. Im so excited for everything im seeing with 2, I hope its the new game like that for my group.

that would be impossible in Dying Light everything's gonna level you up
Survivor levels up when doing quests or helping citizens
Melee levels up even unarmed or kicking especially when you kill anyone
Agility levels up when you're running and climbing
and if he plays the DLC
Driver can be avoided if he doesn't use the buggy

at 24:29 we see dante running over a few zombies and we hear them yelling in pain a bit, while it may be little, dante definitely caused damage to them, we also see he got points for it which confirmed he caused damage, so doesn't that mean he failed there?
Considering that this damage was caused unintentionally, and hadn't used a weapon, I don't thing that'd be a failure.
@@TheBlueReverb intentional or not, he still caused damage with his body and not throwables, no exceptions. I'm not saying that he CANT beat the game with only throwables, it's just that his personal run had failed.
@@boyblue3485 but they were also agility points meaning the game could have possibly awarded him for a vault and going over and through the zeds
@@bustedthings7548 good point but it seems he definitely hurt some zombies in that instance, no matter how small, I mean he straight up used a zombie as a landing pad after he vaulted over another zombie, that's obvious damage right there.

@@chrisih881Dying Light 2 isn’t as good as the first game, it is slow and not as enjoyable. Worst of all is that the story makes absolutely no sense, although there are some cool new mechanics but the first game is better

I used my gauze exclusively for exploding throwing stars. i was always excited to find premium throwing stars in the boxes. they were my favorite weapons in the game.
