    Thanks for a wonderful introduction to the world of yoga. I'm 53 and after many years of painful stiff hips and lower back pain, many doctors visits and painkillers later, doing your yoga session everyday for 6 weeks has been like a miracle cure. I can't believe how much stronger, and more flexible and stable I feel and the pain has all but gone. And even more, the relaxation is a bonus at the end of a busy day at work. Many, many thanks. You have given me back my youth.

    Thank you for your quality video. I appreciate the time delay between when your voice over describes the upcoming move and when you do it in the video. It is just spot on for timing. I didn't ever feel like I had to rush to look up to see what was to come. It made for a great flow.

    This is my favourite yoga video on the internet, it is so relaxing and helps me release very tight hips. Thank you :) Just as an aside, can you recommend any stretches for me to improve my pigeon pose? When my front leg is bent and the back one is straight, my hips turn to the side. I am keen to work on keeping my hips facing forwards in this pose. Many thanks!

    Sure. On our site, if you go to the yoga classes section we have a class called Yoga Therapy for the Neck and Feet. That might help. It also helps sitting on your heals, or if you can't, sit on a folded blanket between your heals so the tops of your feet start stretching out.

    This is by far the best lower back stretch I'm come across on you tube. This is very gentle and the visualization at the end is miraculous. A lot of the videos out there which say they are for lower back are not always appropriate but this video this is perfect and David really understands the connection of the lower back and the pelvic floor. Thank you so much. David you know you really know your stuff. You are an amazing teacher and practitioner. Thank you for sharing this for everyone for free. It is no fun being in pain but this video really helps as one form of relief among others.

    This sequence is helping relieve my hip pain and stiffness in my thighs, though I've been taking it a little slower and holding some poses longer. Yeah, his arms are much longer than mine and he's of course more flexible, so I've been using straps and trying to be patient with myself. Great video--I definitely will check out his others!

    Thank you for this video! I love the sequence, it's full of poses I haven't seen in other hip opening videos on youtube. I have had hip pain for years and am always fighting to keep it in check. Your voice and instructions are great, but I wish there wasn't any music. I find it really distracting. Is there any chance you could upload a version without any background music?

    I'm glad I found your video. I've been to see bone specialist, therapist with hip pain and didn't get anywhere until I try your video. It helps release the pain from my back, hip and legs. Now I don't feel those pain but when I do I know where to go.

    this and your longer one is absolutley fantastic for me!! its just what i need to help loosen my hips and hamstrings......as a runner i now do these 3/4 days a week and have found everything improving....no pain in my hop flexors, and better form out on the road. i really appreciate you up loading this! wish i had of found them a year ago though!!!

    As many times as you like! If you feel sore at all the next day, you know you've done too much. But in general, the more often you do this class, the quicker you flexibility will improve.

    This was a power-packed 27 minutes in that the poses and stretches were realllllly effective and it felt like my body did a longer practice.     Was thinking about doing this to eliminate the butt wink in my deep squat. Will this work for that? I've been told the butt wink is likely a result of short hamstrings, so this seemed like a good place to start.

    Thank you for this. I've been having all sorts of problems in the right side of my body; knee pain, ball in the arch of my foot, stiff shoulder. Finally realizing my hips are very tight, especially the right hip. This exercise is a big help, thanks again.

    Bore Da David 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I did this practice this morning even though I have painful back pain between the hips at present! Do you recommend I do this whilst it’s so painful, I can’t imagine not doing daily yoga 🤕 with you but also don’t want further pain. 🙏

    Hi David,
    Great video as always!
    I have noticed an issue I have with shavasana at the end of yoga routines. I often feel quite an intense pain in the lower-middle back, where the arch of the back occurs. My rear thigh/glute muscles seem to exaggerate the arch and make it more painful. As such I usually lift my feet to touch the ground so that my lower back is flush, and shavasana becomes impossible for me. Any ideas/tips?
