You can’t lay on your bed because it’s full of jackets
And there's still a kid sleeping in there....
omfg so truueee lmaoo
Omg trueee and the purses hurt when you lay on them
KEN IV then under all the jackets there is a kid sleepping
Trueeee
"NOPE, CAUSE THERE'S A KID IN THERE SLEEPING!"
I laughed so hard at that because is relatable as hell!!
Sí, Dios mío, todas las vacaciones! Por lo general uno de mis primos.
I was that kid one holiday 😂
Unrelatable as hell
I was that baby taking the naps LOL😂
I was your 1K like 👍
btw this is to relatable lmao
"bECAUSE THERE'S A KID SLEEPING THERE" That's too real xD

Same imma start saying this lol
Is so typical in DR
@@JoseFerreira-cb3gc in Brazil too
I'm going to be using this A LOT😂
But with a Dominican style too 😂
Love it!
Where is the lie?!😂
I lol'd so hard when Maya was like "This is my cousin,we're not actually related but he's still my cousin." Lol we all have those "cousins" that we grew up with because our parents were friends and still are.
Or you cousin's cousin but u still claim them😂😂
Yoooo no lie!! My 'cousin' and I are very close. Her mum is my cousin...😂😂
Honestly family trees look like they're on drugs.
@@billyshakes1643 the best drugs ever though,am I right?!👉✨
And sometimes you have tios or tias who are your age or younger and you just call them your cousins.
Julissa : “Y thats a lot of money”
😂😂😂😂
That's my mom getting ready to go down south for Christmas. I've got 15 1st cousins on her side. The youngest is 8 and the oldest 40 or so, so lots of presents for them and their kids. It's crazy expensive.
But don’t forget that with all the chisme all the tias are gonna show off.
“Mira el Gucci vestido que le compré a Jaquelín”
“Ahhhh. Mira esta anilló que le compré a Juana”
LOL😂
@@faureamour My Mami the same way. On her side I have 36 1st cousins. Papi side l have 50 1st cousins. Every year they say why did we all have so many babies Ay Bendito😂
I use to be the kid sleeping in the bedroom lmao
Arty Llama same 😂😂
Honestly, if your a quiet kid you just want to get away from it all too. *Starts yawning but not even sleepy*
@@runawaymuffin that's so true I would do that all the time like it gets a bit to loud "granny can I take a nap." "Of course mijo go sleep!"
Arty Llama
Same!
Arty Llama I don’t even sleep I just chill on my phone
Someeone get Maya some tea and blankets and Vivaporu and Sancocho. Our little pocha concha needs to get better!
My family is Argentine and concha means something you don't wanna know XD
iTheGeek Not in Mexico. It's a pastry. Also some places it's a seashell.
Awsamazing Eden and it’s even a last name 🙇🏻♀️😅😯💁🏻♀️🙎🏻♀️
Dat sancocho gonna clear her up and that vicks she just need to rub on her chest a little in her nose amd a little in her mouth and she will ne all better
Even though I’m not Hispanic or a Latina my family is Caribbean so I can relate to this so much
Same 🇹🇹
Samee 🇭🇹
Girlll im both and Sameeee caribbean families be just as bad
Same 🇨🇼
So true 🇻🇮
Oh man, the typical question... ¿Ya tienes novio? ¿porque no tienes novio...? dreadful words.
😂
"Ese es tu novio?"
Nah for me es “como esta los estudios?” 😂 my family for some reason don’t like mentioning Boyfriend and relationships ... anyone else ?
True-
For me it's you're not meaty enough. You need to eat Nino🍜🍛🍲🍮
I can relate to this too much-
Omg I love your profile pic, v!!☺️💕
Linda Melendez Thank you and thank you for being an A.R.M.Y! I purple you! 💜💜💜💜 lmao.

Ok but can we appreciate Julissas T-shirt?
🔥YOU GO GIRL🔥
Right!!
I know right I want that shirt
Where to get that shirt
Ok gotto look, thanks
Noobie_mia I have the shirt also. You can choose your skin tone. It’s from House of Curls. Latina owned!
*I relate to this at a spiritual level*
I love this video so much!! The reality!! 🤦🏻♀️😂
Mafalda Teixeira Exactly
My mom and dad are always fighting during the holidays and my moms always stressing and asking DONDE ESTAN LOS TAMALES When she just put them on the table 6 minutes ago....
Your mom and your dad are myself and my husband lol. I get overly stressed during the holidays and I'm always forgetting where I put a plate or bowl of something 😄
I just woke up my siblings bc I laughed to loud
My grandma is always serving everybody and doesn't let anybody help her. We have to ask her a thousand times to sit down and eat with us, still she will always be the first to get up if someone seems to need smth
That "Pelo Malo Where?" shirt is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!
@Celeste En la Bahía "bad hair where?" i'm assuming since it's like a natural afro hair and some people love to hate on that natural hair type and call it "messy" or "bad"
So funny... when we feel some type of way we don't get invited somewhere....but we wouldn't go anyway 😂😂
this is so real for Latinos
especially with the songs that feliz navidad, burrito sabanero etc
I'm not latina, I'm catalan and it is so real for me as well.
That one little cousin with booger’s in his hair 😂
That's u 😂
Jo lmaoo
Jo i think that’s just you....
"I wouldn't want peace and quiet during the holidays, cuz I'm use to the loudness and fun and crazy it reminds me that it is the holidays "....1000%
Why don’t gadiel celebate with julissa they like brothers anyway
I don't think her family is in CA either. And he probably likes being with the friends that he doesn't see all the time
Hehe
My family on Christmas in a nutshell.
Mom: spilling the tea or helping In the kitchen
Madrina: making everyone laugh and lighting the mood
Tía: no más hablando puro chisme and being shady
Grandma: cooking, cooking , cooking and scolding kids
Los primos chiquitos: running around and disturbing everyone
The older cousins : just sitting around in one room and playing games on their console
Las niñas: in another room talking about gifts and gossiping over Jessicas new boyfriend
Tío: handling the fajita and in charge of playing music
Padrino: in charge of cervezas and taking everyone out to dance
And me : being socially awkward and eating all the food =))
Omg the 30 seconds of silence YES.
We always celebrate on the 24 th and the 25 th we would visit family and exchange gifts and eat leftovers. The struggles of buying the right gifts lol. The kid sleeping in the bedroom lmao. I don't have the family get togethers anymore. I miss it.
I always get the "y la novia?" "Y que estudias?" "Cuando terminas la escuela?"
My memories of family parties ......wine .....beer.....food.....gossip....crying....yelling....jokes.....dancing......more beer....and more of everything above but at this point you would catch my little 12 yr old cousin behind the xmas tree with a beer in hand drinking as if it was soda ......true story guys !!!!! All in all the best memories !!!! Love to all my latinos and latinas out there.
My struggle is when I want to hang out with just my cousins but then my aunt, momma, or uncle always say "the party is this way not here"
I love the family chisme, food, all the roasting 🤣🤣 Loooove loove looove 🇲🇽🇵🇷
Or having a Hispanic family and Italian family so on the 24th you have your one aunts house from 3-10 then drive to your tías house that’s like 11-3am then the 25th wake up to do Christmas presents then from 2-10 you have another huge Christmas so yeah it’s a lot
I brought my boyfriend to meet my family for the holidays...... we almost broke up the next day 😐😐😐😐 they scared the guy to death
2:20 omg happens every time
I don't have any struggles because I'm usually under the radar with my family. Ain't nobody talkin shit about me and if they are then it's probably like one week out of the year. Also because I've had nothing going on in my life for 19 years. 20 in about 6 months from now.
Hi! Where are you from? Cause I'm catalan and Xmas is a huge holiday for me, it goes from December 24th and ends in January 6th. You could check my comment if you are curious about it. Just like I'm curious about your holidays.
HeyItsStephie:D me tooooo.
Damn you a few months older than me
We're the same
There is always a kid sleeping in a room! 🤣🤣🤣 #latino #hugefamily
Christian Salas 😂
I love the loudness too Julissa 😆 it’s always been that way for me. Nothing but pure joy.
I felt that cousin thing too, even tho I’m Asian, lol. “This is my cousin, this is my cousin that’s not really my cousin but he pretty much is, this is my aunt but we call her mom because she’s basically our second mom that raised us” lol
I agree with you gadiel... on EVERYTHING
*Pretty much Julissa and Gadiel's Struggles. I'm dominican, so it is the same*
“We’re actually not related but like he’s still my cousin” the most relatable thing 😂😂 everyone’s your cousin and your cousin’s kids are your sobrin@s
omg the cousin thing is so true. Even today, I have to explain to my friends about how many cousins I have. Plus, Latinos celebrating on the 24th is so real. I've had a friend confused and saying to me "how did you already celebrate Christmas??? We are in the same city so the dates aren't different" then to explain how we celebrate it on the 24. It's just.... Yeah
Curlys haircut looks so good!
lol exactly the same thing for Filipinos everywhere 😂🇵🇭 #AsianLatinos
Drama, all the time.
Family’s is family 👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏽♥️🇲🇽
I’m dominican and the struggle is when you’re full and you want to eat more
lauren contreras or When u ate, but u serving that second plate and u thinking about taking the third plate home. Then u can’t sleep cause we thinking about that third Plate being in the fridge !! 😂😂
Wait, do most people not celebrate on the 24th???😲😲😲😲😲
hi goodbye no. Most Americans celebrate on the 25th
No "Noche Buena"..? 😕
Art Alvarez I am white I celebrate it on 24th because I am Hungarian
Christmas Eve is like New Years Eve. When the clock strikes twelve everyone wishes eachother a merry christmas. Then we open presents.
Most non-latino americans who celebrate Christmas celebrate mainly on the 25th.. the most I celebrate on the 24th was Midnight mass lmao.
"We are actually not related but like he s still my cousins " SO TRUE 😂💓
When I lived with my family we celebrated on the 24th. We filled up my aunt's two story house, you could barely squeeze by people, the kitchen was always packed with people cooking or getting drunk or both, kids running around upstairs or sleeping in a room, teens and young adults taking up the entire living room and part of the front lawn, adults in the kitchen and backyard, elders sitting at the table and being served whatever they want. You couldn't walk without stepping on someone, people get smacked when they try eating too many tostones or picking off the pig. Then after the battlefield of getting a plate (you have to throw elbows to get to the tamales) everyone starts opening gifts and then the kids are shooed back upstairs and everyone gets drunk. We're a family of over 30 and when family visits from out of town then it's not even worth it to count.
Now though, I'm the family member who lives across the country, staying at home with my man while we have a small meal together, and then I end up getting drunk calls from all the family individually calling me saying "oh, you're living like an American...you forgot your roots...be grateful your ancestors don't have graves to be rolling in...why don't you move back home? It's been 10 years, when are you going to stop trying to be American?"
Oh the holidays
4:04 😂 "boogers in there hair" . So then I take the kid to the wash room and wash it out. 😆😆
2:17 I felt that so much bruh
Ahhh the drama and chisme when the family gathers for the holidays😊. And everyone is your cousin or practically your cousin. Family asking about my nonexistent boyfriend. And the more CHISME! but I love it anyway!😍
If I gain weight don’t be alarmed it’s tamale season
Nowadays, there isn't a kid sleeping. It's a kid on the phone watching RUclips.
The only thing I'd change about my Honduran family, is if for that one day we get to be all together. They wouldn't fight, it isn't drama it's a HUGE fight.
I kind of miss this. My family stopped celebrating the holiday together because most of them go back to Mexico. I can't really afford to go all the way back to the pubelo every year. So this year it'll be just me and my parents. My other sisters are leaving to go be with their in-laws this year too. I hope one day we'll have a big family Christmas again.
Interesting about the 24th. I grew up with pretty much around the typical North American Santa morning 25th ritual, but my mother was born in Germany, and as we got older we actually did the bulk of the festivities on the 24th cause that's what she always did. This was because you were supposed to stay up till midnight when the 25th would roll over THEN you would open stuff up. This became more of the tradition as we got older, and is pretty much established now in my family, I dig it!
{ I love curly }
when he said
adios papitas fritas 🤣
"Why is she going to the club, she's 57?..." 😂 😂 😂
Very real true! I can't stand when you have to greet everyone of your family members (Tios and Tias) knowing damn well you saw them the other day and greeted them. Like how many times do I have to greet your ass when you already know me. 😂🤣😂😂😂🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
*the kids sleeping on your bed is so real LMAO*
I'm not Latino but I love,love,love pero like❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this video... true representation of our Hispanic culture...a lot of chaos but a lot of love, family and craziness...happy holidays...🎄🎄🎅🎅🎁🎁🎉🎉🎊🎊
Im 15 and i feel ya and also when u gotta greet every single one person😂😂
Gracias Pero Like!!! I love this channel and the people in it!!! 🎄😊 Dope, funny video, as always :). Happy Holidays 🎁
My struggle every freaking Christmas day is the drama of my grandma's or aunts wanting to cook or not wanting to cook
Julissa at 2:25 😂😂😂. She ain't never lied about that kid
Will Mya ever get her voice back? Let's find out on the next episode of Pero Like!
My husband and I live in Colorado for 10 yrs and we have no one here. I wish I had the struggle of the family drama during the holidays. I miss it so bad!
Omg the little kids begging and begging to open the presents before 12
I miss our loud holidays... after my grandma passed everything slowing got smaller and smaller and now everyone does their own thing... :-( but Curly is right ... thanks for the advice... Merry Christmas everyone! Make it your own day...
Omg all the time I’d lock myself in my room the Tia would come in my room and go on the phone
I remember the next day straight up gossip & chisme from my sisters & mom about everyone in the fiesta! For like hours
“Because there’s a kid sleeping in there” 😂 can relate there’s always a kid sleeping in my room or my mom and dads room.
explaining a family member when ur Latino be like: el es el primo de mi tío, que es el marido de mi tía que también es el padrino de mi tío, y el compadre de mi hermano y el yerno de mi abuelo
When you have a boyfriend but your fam is always asking “cuando vas a tener hijos?” “Tienes 23 años y sin niños, estas esperando mucho”...
thank you for bringing in Shila. She doesn't get enough screen time on this channel even though shes latino
I’ll take the day off and see Gadiel for the holidays in NYC!
*I was that kid sleeping in the room*
I've noticed caribbean families are quite the show, they tend to be a bit dramatic, and there is always drama, in my family and most families here are not like that, is a regular dinner with a bunch of family members no drama at all. I'm saying this because my best friend it's from cuba, another friend from dominican republic and there's always drama in their parties.
I am Puertorrican and I am thinking this is just embeded in our latino code. This is sooo reaaaaaaal!
The kids asleep all over rhe house is too real lmao.
Also "There's nothing in this..." 😂 Ty for that heads up!
It's the taking everything in the house apart to clean like a day before just to see it all get messed up when everyone comes for lunch or dinner.
I feel you, Maya! The whole trying to explain why the million cousins who aren’t actually related to you, that’s too much work. I just leave it at that and don’t try to explain anymore.
#1 holiday struggle: everyone asking if I have a boyfriend and not being able to tell them im gay or else id be crucified
Can we get one mil? 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
"We're not related... but he's still my cousin." Too fucking accurate.
"You know what's been going on in my timeline....nothing" lol
Same girl same 😂😂😂😂😂
Omg so true or that moment when ur mom is doing "la cena de navidad" and one little thing is wrong and she says "u think this is going to cook by itself?" "I have to change clothes and im still herenin the kitchen!!!"
I'm not Latino. I'm from the Philippines but I can pretty much relate. Here Christmas is our season for barrio parties: karaoke, dancing, and getting drunk. LOL.
I'm actually surprised how accurate this is.
I’m Ecuadorian and Portuguese soooooo the holidays get lit lmao 😂
I FEEL THEIR PAIN!!! I have a big ass latino family and every thing they talk about is sooo true.
I love that as a Hawaiian, we have a lot of the same holiday struggles as Latinos 😂 although a lot of us Hawaiians are some type of Latino, we got a lot of the same family stuggles 😂
I need Julissa's shirt "pelo malo? WHERE?" LOVED IT!!!!
My holiday struggle: hoping it will snow on Christmas, but you're not in control of the weather, so if it doesn't snow on Christmas, YOU HAVE TO WAIT NEXT YEAR!!!
Curly looks so good in this🥰 I mean he always has don’t get me wrong but somethings different and I love it 😂😂
''There's always gonna be a bunch of people in the house and THAT is a struggle within itself'' Julissa you are my spirit animal
“This is my cousin even thought we are not related” same lol
the celebrating christmas on the 24th is very true, we'll be all crazy at 12 am and the next day its just normal
My phone died after julissa said “ because there is a kid there my phone died and I didn’t care because I was dying 😂😂😂
I feel your pain Gadiel. When i go back to NYC its the same with my fam. Not a minute to spare for the one making the long trip back. I barely even go back to NY anymore.
For me the struggle is making enough pozole for the family. My grandmother and I do this every Christmas.
