I crown my fence lines up similar to a road with the fence line on top of the crown. I also leave a small wind row about 500mm from the fence when maintaining once the fence is built. The next year, I bring the window out from the fence towards the paddock 2 passes. Ming you I don’t have to contend with snow. I also put diversion banks under the fences.
I'm a little confused, you say backslope, but isn't that the road side? And you said your spreading into the feild but it looks like the road.. pardon my ignorance as it is early Saturday morning. I'm jist confused about what I am seeing. It looks like you pulled the whole shoulder and spread it into the road really well. To me the back slope it the opposite side of the ditch.. and that opposite side looks like a feild, not so much a road.. blah blah blah.. I'm just lost this morning...lol
No worries when I’m saying backslope I’m referring to the top of the ditch away from the road where the farmers fence would be at the edge of his field he took the fence out and naturally over the years blow dirt stops against the fence creating a ridge so I’m leveling that off putting excess dirt in the farmers field doing this allows snow to blow threw and not making a drift on the road hopefully that explains it thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

If you look closely you can see the road on the other side of where he’s working
It blends into the background pretty good color wise
