    I would like to thank you for your good videos on how to run a grader. I just started working for my county district here in northeast Nebraska and I definitely needed some help on how to run it right. Thanks so much

    Will you come and grade my road? My grader man under cuts the shoulder all the way down the road and the water just runs down the road until it get to the low spots. Then it just pools in the road. Your roads look amazing! Thanks for sharing in your videos. Maybe he can watch them and see how you do it.

      A lot of it depends on how much is in the budget. This stuff is nowhere even close to affordable for a lot of townships across the country, they're only given so much. People don't want higher taxes, and inflation isn't helping things either.

      @@coolhanddruid haha our budget is very little and the gravel roads are junk.

    How wide are your county roads there? Actual drivable surface. Out here in NM they seem to measure from outside of bar ditch so the road surface is usually only wide enough for one car. If you have a 50' easement then the road should have at least a 20' surface one would think.

    • @graderman140m
      @graderman140m  Год назад +1

      We have a 66 feet right of way all of my roads are 22 to 24 feet wide in my opinion that’s the perfect width for a road

    • @joew2303
      @joew2303 Год назад +1

      Yes 22' is a good width. Wish the guys out here would do this.

      @@graderman140m do you use water or brine when compacting a road

      @@benlaubscher6371 this material here had read good moisture in it so didn’t need water any water I do have access to a water truck will use water if needed.

    • @benlaubscher6371
      @benlaubscher6371 11 месяцев назад

      Have you found that brine has better compaction when setting for paving..as far as how long it stays hard and doing it in layers 6 inches of compaction..
