      @@vidinho1210 Thanks for your question. I do not have a video on how to remove ink but I can tell you is to start with a syringe and pull out as much as you can. Once you get out as much as possible install the ink you want and do a good set of print head cleaning to get out the old ink.

      Hi and welcome to the sublimation world. All you need to do is make sure you drain the ink as much as possible then put in the correct ink and do the head clean, alignment etc. After print about 2-3 different images to get out any of the previous ink and you should be good to go.

    I left the ink in their original bottles and just used the tops. I took the sub ink and placed in the top and squeezed. When finished prewashed tops and put them back on the reg ink. So you won't ever mix the inks.

      Thanks for your question. I’ll say that I never done this before. However, I would advise draining as much ink as possible then install the new ink. After print a couple of full sheets to get out the old ink. This should allow the new ink to come out.
      This is the best advise I can give or this is what I would do. Just remember as I mentioned before I never had to change inks back.

    • @atprints
      @atprints  3 года назад +1

      @@keonipauole1828 thanks for your response. Let me go into some more detail to give you a greater understanding about easysubli and sublimation. With easysubli you have two processes you can use. 1. You can print directly onto the easysubli and by doing this you don’t have to mirror the image and you would peel off the back of the easysubli and press it onto the apparel. 2. You can press the easysubli onto a apparel first and then you can print an image from your computer, however, note that once you use this method then you must mirror the image first. Once your image has been printed then you can print that image onto the easysubli. So when using easysubli to sublimate there are two ways you can do it.
      But in general when you are looking to sublimate you normally have to mirror your images first. If it is easysubli then as I mentioned higher in my message there are act least 2 ways you can do it.
      Hope this helps 💪💪

    Session 2 totally missed!! You only showed after printing!! I’m in the middle of setting up help!!!!!!

    • @atprints
      @atprints  2 года назад +2

      No session was missed. Once you installed the ink and turn on the printer it will take you through various steps. You will need to go slow and follow all of those steps. When it comes to alignment of the printer it gives you the option to adjust now or later. In the video I recommend you adjusted it right away and once you select the adjust option you will follow the steps and it will print out the squares. Once the squares are printed you will follow the instructions on the printer screen which should be telling you to select the squares with no lines in them.
      Once that first alignment is completed then you will proceed onto the second alignment when comes right after the first. At this point the printer will then print out rectangles and you will have to choose those rectangles which does not have a line in the middle and once those steps are completed you can proceed forward.
      I hope this helps you and if you are still lost feel free to reach out to me on Facebook or Instagram @allan21thompson or all of my links to my Instagram and Facebook is in the description.

      @@pepghee-mendez395 i am truly happy to hear that my videos gave you the courage to open up the box and start the process. What I can tell you is that so many people get so many different response and experiences with different type of printers. When ever i am finish using the printer it is turn off and i never had any issues with clogging. I would say to you that a lot of people convert printers also myself included which was the best method at that time since there wasn’t a true smaller sublimation printer, but when Epson released the F170 i advised everyone to just purchase a true original sublimation printer and forget the converting.
      However all in all, I believe if its turned off you shouldn’t get any issues and i am speaking base on my experience with it not having any issues. However, at the end of the day you need to trust yourself with if you want to keep it on because you fear it might clogged or not. But if you ask me, ill say turn it off when you are finish printing and when you are ready turn it on and print your stuff.
      Another example i can give is i have an Epson WF7710 which I converted like 2-3 years ago and after i use it each time i turn it off, Sometimes for 1-2 months straight and when i turn it on it prints like a beauty and i have no issues.
      Also you can ask me more questions if you have any. It’s ok with me, thats what i am here for. So ask away. Also as i mention before you can also reach out to me on IG or Facebook and we can talk as i know when you talk its faster.
