I have been following your content for some time now. So when I came across this video when searching for help with having a clog, I instantly dived in! I might need to do a deep clean, so my question is, do I need to have extra ink on hand to refill? Most of my colors are about 75% full except my black this is around 50%.

I have a problem with my cyan too. I have been very good at printing at least once a week but suddenly after adding some ink into my tanks the cyan stopped working. It seems that often times people have problems with cyan. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence. Can I ask what finally helped your printer unclog? Did you end up having to do the power clean? I am on day 3 of doing head cleanings and multiple purge printings and nothing seems to be working but also afraid of doing to power clean. Any advice from your experience? How long did it take for your printer?
Wow..... Got it in 2021 about 6 months later it stopped printing because I did not use it as much. Called Epson, they said they can't help unless I have the receipt, which husband had lost. Years later here we are, February 2024 and got the printer to work again. Absolutely amazing and unbelievable, thank you for all your efforts!
I thought my printer was done after several nozzle cleanings which made it worse. But, I followed the instructions for the power cleaning and it worked! Thank you!!
Clogs occur in Eco Tank printers even if not converted for sublimation, for the same infrequent use reasons. I found your video several months ago, ran through the procedures, and cleared the clogs. Started having the same issues again - due to infrequent use. I was able to re-find your video, and was saved again by your purge files. Thank you for producing this video and files!
Awesome and very timely! Last time I had a bad clog I had to do the Power Clean and buy a kit to clean all the heads. I try to keep up with the printing but several weeks had gone by and i had a clog. Found this video and followed it, waited the 24 hours and my printer is churning again! Love all your videos as they are always detailed and very clear.

Huge Thank YOU! We don't do a lot of printing and when we do it's usually black ink. The blue was coming out ok but no magenta or yellow. I knew I could find an answer on RUclips and your video popped up. I had been putting off figuring this out, but you were making it so easy to walk through the steps with you. I downloaded you purge page....literally genius!!! I ran 2 more cleanings and a little color started coming out. Before I finished for the day, I decided to print the purge all color page....ALL THE COLORS PRINTED! It was magical. I was going to let the printer sit overnight....now I can continue my work tomorrow morning with all colors working. Angie, you are a life saver...great teacher as well.

I converted the 8550 to sublimation and had this problem over and over. I let it sit for literally a week and this morning I had success. Thank you so much. I feeling a little discouraged. I can not afford the F570 and needed this to work. I also watched your banding video and made the changes suggested by you. Thankfully all is great. my prints are beautiful and sublimating great. Thank you so much for the purge files. I'd done the nozzle check as well as the head cleaning several times. Printed quite a few cyan purge sheets which came out yellow at first, but eventually they came out blue! You were a life saver today!
Excellent video showing what’s normal and what to try when it’s not. After ~18 months with no issues the print quality abruptly went weak on the yellow and blue ink. I’m pretty sure my problem was a result of not printing that much (very little actually). I ran the “ink purge” print and that resolved the print quality. I’m sure the good thing to do is to run the printer and move the ink monthly. Glitches happen with all equipment and it’s when there’s a NO REMEDY that I become dissatisfied. This video runs the gamut of what to do. This is an EXCELLENT VIDEO! I had HP printers before this and don’t regret the switch to the Epson ET.
Best printer I’ve ever had, money saved on buying ink every time I turned around with various other brands is worth a lot, but to get good quality printing is a delight. I picked one up for my mother and told her to “print color and do it often!” She did not, she couldn’t believe the ink would really last and last, and now it’s clogged from non use. Thanks for the power cleaning directions and the purge files, which I didn’t even know was a thing. 🙂
I’ve been struggling to fix my printer for the last 3 months, and this was by far the best video I’ve seen. By chance my printer was alright from a full nozzle clean I did about 4 days ago when I did a test print just now, but the advice on this video was more comprehensive than other videos, and gave me hope that if I continued doing what I’d been doing it should eventually work. O my goodness! I have been struggling with this same printer since January!! It was working for our Christmas projects, then we didn't use it for a month, and when I went back to using it the Cyan color was not printing, nor was Magenta after running the Printer Purge. I did have to do a Power Clean, but it fixed my printer!! Thank you, thank you, Angie!! You are absolutely my GOTO for all of my crafting with vinyl, sublimation, etc.!!!
I had to stop by and drop a comment. I never comment on youtube vidoes but wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help. My sublimation printer been sitting for over a year and I was on the verge of throwing it out. Stumbled across your video and it's working like it did when I first bought it. These comments are almost as helpful as the video! My printer has been sitting since Christmas 2023 and I was feeling hopeless that this video would even help. I'm doing purge sheets right now but nothing is coming out at all. I'm hoping after more work and wait ill get the same result you did!

I haven't printed anything since the beginning of the year and she aaaannngry. Currently working on purging the black, I'm hoping for the best 😅just started my 3rd try to get SOMETHING out of the nozzle.
I stumbled upon your video by accident. My Epson printer hadn’t been used in a few months when I had last tried to get it to print correctly. I followed along with your video as a last resort before buying a new printer. After two days, I finally got it to work correctly. I printed your purge Page. The first day the cyan colour didn’t print, but after cleaning the printer head several times and waiting overnight and into the next day… it printed correctly!!! Thank you so much!
I can’t believe that it works now. It’s not printer for over a year! Those purge pages are great. I really like that printer, but was ready to buy a color laser printer for home use. So I’m very happy I found your video. Have a great day. 👍🏻

Thank you SO much for this video! I thought my Epson was doomed. All the colors printed perfectly except black. It printed a blank page. I printed about 12 black only purge file pages and still had zero ink on the page. I decided I had to move on and do a print head cleaning. Voila!! It worked! Printed the purge file again and everything looks beautiful. My printed design file has all the colors now. You are a life-saver!!

I just wanted to say thanks for this video. I've got an ET-2750, and my colour printing pretty much quit. Tried the cleaning and printer purge, but neither worked. I then did the deep cleaning, and, let the printer sit for 24 hours. Tried a test page, and it's working great again. Thanks Angie! 🙏
This was a super helpful video. I had a clog at the same time you were making this video! It is very frustrating, especially when you want to make something and your printer is acting up! Thankfully, I followed your recommendations and it finally worked after doing the Power Cleaning. I just set a reminder on my phone to do a couple of prints every Friday, if I haven't been printing! (I am worried because I will be gone for three weeks soon! I will cross my fingers and print right before I leave and as soon as I return!) Thanks for the great video. Clear and concise!

You saved my life!!!!!Thank you for a complete walkthrough. I would of never thought to do a purge page, after a head cleaning etc. etc. I also would have not let it sit for 24 hours. Thank you so much! I ran into a problem printing, and tried to use information from the Epson website, but could not find anything that worked, thinking I needed to fill the ink tank, since black ink was not working. Following the steps in your video worked perfectly and got me back on track!
this worked! I must've printed close to 200 pages, but the color came back. I think putting in the specific color is a great idea. I kept recycling used sheets instead of wasting tons of blank paper - no that this things working again, I'll have to remember not to let it sit idle for long periods
Thanks so much for this video. I was ready to scrap my printer and buy a new one. It was barely printing any colour and I had already run nozzle checks and head cleans. Followed your instructions and now it's printing just fine.
Thanks Angie! I had spent about three hours troubleshooting the problems with my printing (including lots of Google research) before I found your video. You explained everything so clearly and my problem is fixed! At first, I thought it was an issue with Microsoft - printing mainly pink from Word. I did a bunch of things in settings etc with no improvement. Then I tested it from Publisher - same problem and again no changes in settings etc made any difference. I tested PDF - same problem. Then a Google doc - same problem. Then I went through the maintenance on my printer. The way the nozzle check outcome displayed on my printer, I didn't pick up that my nozzle check was incorrect. Next, I uninstalled everything to do with my printer Epson ET-3700 and re-installed the driver. No improvement. After all of this, I found a video warning against power cleaning which was focused on purge printing only. Then your video came up. I had tried printing several purge files (Cyan and yellow being the problems) with no improvement. Your video helped me to realise that there are several other steps so I did a print head clean and at last, there was some colour showing up in the cyan and yellow when I did the nozzle check. Repeating the print head clean and printing one single purge file has fixed the problem. Thank you again.
Thank you Angie! This process (we went all the way through power cleaning) fixed both my ET-3760 and my parent's ET-3850 printer clog. Your clog prevention advice was great too! We don't use color printing very much and had no idea these printers clogged by not using it.
This was perfect and I want to thank you so much for this video. I have not used my printer that I put Sublimation ink in for about 2 years and thought I would have to through it out and buy all new...but this worked wonders. All ink colors were clogged and now they are working beautiful and I can use it again. I truly appreciate this more than you know!!! :)

This was awesome. I got my printer about a year ago and used it once. I'm so glad I found your video because nothing was coming out. My date and time even had to be reset. Now, I also have to redo my paper settings. I was prepared to take it back too. Office Depot was gonna be upset with me. 🤭

Actually it worked. As you said, I ran the power cleaning, actually waited not 12 but 20 hours, made the nozzle check and it printed perfectly. Before watching your video I was trying whole day head cleaning (like other people advised) and it barely printed anything. I was ready to buy the cleaning solution and wash the heads. But ow don't need it. Thank you for doing it.

I bought the printer in Dec 2021. Because it's installed on our 2nd floor that we barely air condition, summer temps get to about 84 degrees. We are low volume users, especially colors, so I have a monthly reminder go off to print something with all of the colors. Black ink never clogged, but all of the colors just clogged.....thank you for a great video..I had to do the power cleaning.....works fine! now I suppose I need to print more frequently, especially during summer months!
Wow. I have not been able to use my color EPSON 4800 for about 6 months because it was clogged. I have pulled up so many videos online and they were no help or way too long or full of sales pitches. But Angie, your video was simple and explained so well. My colors came back after 4 nozzle checks. The printer is a only a year old and I am so glad I watched your video. This is super helpful. I bought this printer brand new 3 weeks ago. It's not printed yellow from out of the box. I've tried everything. I am returning it to the store. A printer that costs $400 should never be this difficult. It's just not worth the effort to me. I want a printer that prints when it's full of ink and you click the print button.
@@AngieHolden Hi, mine is brand new (EPSON L3250) just got it yesterday and it won't even print the nozzle check its just blank. The ink in the tank doesn't seem to go to the tubes and the damper. I tried head cleaning, power cleaning but the ink just stays in the tank. Is this considered clogged?

THIS WORKS! After I did the second print head cleaning on day two, the nozzle check looked perfect, so I didn't have to do the power clean! I'm so happy. I'll follow your advice to use the printer at least once a week going forward, to help prevent clogs, because I've definitely been guilty of not using it often enough in the past. I also hadn't considered the impact of the environmental conditions. I now have my studio temperature and humidity carefully controlled, and cover the printer to keep out drafts. Printers log, it's been 27 days of cleaning the printer. Things are getting desperate. The printer refuses to print Yellow and Cyan. I fear we'll never fix the printer. I'm tempted to launch into an angry rage and break the printer.

9 years on my Cannon without any failures, 7 weeks with this horrible ET, to save money on ink??? my time & peace of mind is far too valuable to put up with the non stop headaches of such poor engineering, worst printer I've ever used. And it will receive the official AR send off it so richly deserves. I appreciate your time & willingness to help but it's just not worth it to me.
I’ve only had Canon printers, but got sick and tired of the wasteful cartridges and hassles. I will never buy a Canon again! I’m happy with this one so far, but I have a clogged nozzle.

OMGoodness!!! It was a three hour ordeal for me. So much crying and pleading and begging my printer to work. I'm so glad I found this video!!! I avoided a power clean- I wasn't really sure what that does but it sounded good to me- so glad I didn't do it. My yellow was clogged. After 11 cycles of printing purge files, nozzle checks, and head cleaning, refilling the ink tanks, I finally got it! A full purge file printed!! It was glorious! This fixed my issue! I had tried the head cleaning so many times without luck. I did all your steps once and waited 24 hrs. to check the Nozzle again and it worked! I was already thinking of buying another printer but hadn't had this one too long I just don't use it too often and that was for sure what clogged mine. I appreciate your help and detail on how to do it, that definitely made it way easier!
Thank you, Angie! Using this video I was able to unclog my regular Epson printer after a head cleaning, plenty of nozzle checks and 1 full purge page per color. My converted Epson sublimation printer took longer and I had to do the power cleaning as well to get that one working again. But, after 24 hours wait it is now up and running again. Thank you, thank you. I was printing a manual out in color and all of a sudden the colors changed. Yellow wasn't working. I followed your instructions and waited one day to rerun the print head clearning and voila I have YELLOW. Your videos are great. Appreciate you.

I tried the print head cleaning several times with no results. I was going to purchase a new printer but was feeling bad that I had destroyed my Father's Day gift. I thought that I would look on RUclips to see if there might be a fix and found your video. I downloaded your files and watched your video and decided to follow your directions to the Power Head Cleaning. Your directions were clear and easy. I just want to say tyvm for all the information my daughters printer was clogged and she was super worried it was junk she uses it for sublimation and i followed what you told us to do and it worked thank you very very :-)
Angies guidance worked for me on my epson 2760. I did improvise on her colored test sheets by using the largest font in bold 'times new roman" for columns of T's to save ink. Also my black was working fine so I reserved one pair of T's to verify black was ok . I used a double column of T's for each color, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow. On the magenta column I used black for the bottom two T's for my colored Test Print Sheets. On my 3rd nozzle test all colors were showing and the test sheets printed perfectly. This saved a lot of Ink. I only referenced black with 2 T's in the Magenta column as black wasn't a problem with this printer.
Thank you! This works and I can't stress the importance of weekly printing purge files. Weekly printing helps catch it sooner than later if you're not using your printer frequently.
Thanks for the tip, Angie! My Epson EcoTank had stopped printing magenta ink. I ran the Print Head cleaning and nothing happened the first time. But after running it multiple times more and more printed. After running it 7 times it was back to normal. We don't use our printer regularly, it's just for home use. But we'll start printing something weekly now per your advice and hopefully that will prevent future clogs.

Angie, thank goodness you made this video! After using my converted EcoTank for sublimation regularly for over 2 years, it got a clog. I print on it every 2 weeks to avoid this, but it finally happened. I followed your instructions and on Day 3 of the process it worked like a dream! The Power Clean did the trick. GOD BLESS YOU!!! As usual, I waited until the last minute to do a project for a friend. My Cyan would not print. I DID NOT have 12 nor 24 hours - -- - - after several nozzle checks I found YOU! I printed a couple of purge sheets, then 2 or 3 nozzle checks and 2 print head cleans in between. After 5 minutes I had a FULL page of Cyan!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I would have given up if not for this video and you encouraging us to go ahead and print several nozzle checks, several print head cleans (but print in between 3 of them!) AND print all the dang purge sheets you need! It will work!! Thank you! P.S. I imagine it was a clog as I print infrequently on my printer (it is normal ink, not subl.), my house is also incredibly humid. I had a trifecta of "don'ts".

We have the Epson ET-3850. Once the Epson EcoTank Maintenance Box is full, is the printer done? Or, can we replace the Maintenance Box ourselves? If so, how much does the Maintenance Box cost?
thank you for the reminder to just wait sometimes!! I was so frustrated with my printer and had tried everything. I waited the night and then when I tried some of the same steps again this morning, it is back to golden and printing well again!! I will make sure to remember to print weekly now and save myself hours of future frustration hopefully!!

Thank you so much! Epson ET-4750, went through your recommendations - nozzle check print, print head cleaning, multiple purge file prints, then back to nozzle check print. Cyan and magenta were back in the game first (after about 3 cycles), yellow took the longest but after about 4-5 rounds of above mentioned cycle all colors are back in play. Also did each alignment test and realignment. yellow still has some lines on the purge print but ill let it sit till tomorrow and do another head cleaning and I'm sure will be all good! For now its a night and day difference and the other colors are 100% fixed - thank you for this!

I have a problem with my cyan too. I have been very good at printing at least once a week but suddenly after adding some ink into my tanks the cyan stopped working. It seems that often times people have problems with cyan. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence. Can I ask what finally helped your printer unclog? Did you end up having to do the power clean? I am on day 3 of doing head cleanings and multiple purge printings and nothing seems to be working but also afraid of doing to power clean. Any advice from your experience? How long did it take for your printer?
Wow..... Got it in 2021 about 6 months later it stopped printing because I did not use it as much. Called Epson, they said they can't help unless I have the receipt, which husband had lost. Years later here we are, February 2024 and got the printer to work again. Absolutely amazing and unbelievable, thank you for all your efforts!

Clogs occur in Eco Tank printers even if not converted for sublimation, for the same infrequent use reasons. I found your video several months ago, ran through the procedures, and cleared the clogs. Started having the same issues again - due to infrequent use. I was able to re-find your video, and was saved again by your purge files. Thank you for producing this video and files!

Awesome and very timely! Last time I had a bad clog I had to do the Power Clean and buy a kit to clean all the heads. I try to keep up with the printing but several weeks had gone by and i had a clog. Found this video and followed it, waited the 24 hours and my printer is churning again! Love all your videos as they are always detailed and very clear.

Huge Thank YOU! We don't do a lot of printing and when we do it's usually black ink. The blue was coming out ok but no magenta or yellow. I knew I could find an answer on RUclips and your video popped up. I had been putting off figuring this out, but you were making it so easy to walk through the steps with you. I downloaded you purge page....literally genius!!! I ran 2 more cleanings and a little color started coming out. Before I finished for the day, I decided to print the purge all color page....ALL THE COLORS PRINTED! It was magical. I was going to let the printer sit overnight....now I can continue my work tomorrow morning with all colors working. Angie, you are a life saver...great teacher as well.

I converted the 8550 to sublimation and had this problem over and over. I let it sit for literally a week and this morning I had success. Thank you so much. I feeling a little discouraged. I can not afford the F570 and needed this to work. I also watched your banding video and made the changes suggested by you. Thankfully all is great. my prints are beautiful and sublimating great.

Thank you so much for the purge files. I'd done the nozzle check as well as the head cleaning several times. Printed quite a few cyan purge sheets which came out yellow at first, but eventually they came out blue! You were a life saver today!

Excellent video showing what’s normal and what to try when it’s not. After ~18 months with no issues the print quality abruptly went weak on the yellow and blue ink. I’m pretty sure my problem was a result of not printing that much (very little actually). I ran the “ink purge” print and that resolved the print quality. I’m sure the good thing to do is to run the printer and move the ink monthly. Glitches happen with all equipment and it’s when there’s a NO REMEDY that I become dissatisfied. This video runs the gamut of what to do. This is an EXCELLENT VIDEO! I had HP printers before this and don’t regret the switch to the Epson ET.
Best printer I’ve ever had, money saved on buying ink every time I turned around with various other brands is worth a lot, but to get good quality printing is a delight. I picked one up for my mother and told her to “print color and do it often!” She did not, she couldn’t believe the ink would really last and last, and now it’s clogged from non use. Thanks for the power cleaning directions and the purge files, which I didn’t even know was a thing. 🙂

I’ve been struggling to fix my printer for the last 3 months, and this was by far the best video I’ve seen. By chance my printer was alright from a full nozzle clean I did about 4 days ago when I did a test print just now, but the advice on this video was more comprehensive than other videos, and gave me hope that if I continued doing what I’d been doing it should eventually work. O my goodness! I have been struggling with this same printer since January!! It was working for our Christmas projects, then we didn't use it for a month, and when I went back to using it the Cyan color was not printing, nor was Magenta after running the Printer Purge. I did have to do a Power Clean, but it fixed my printer!! Thank you, thank you, Angie!! You are absolutely my GOTO for all of my crafting with vinyl, sublimation, etc.!!!

I stumbled upon your video by accident. My Epson printer hadn’t been used in a few months when I had last tried to get it to print correctly. I followed along with your video as a last resort before buying a new printer. After two days, I finally got it to work correctly. I printed your purge Page. The first day the cyan colour didn’t print, but after cleaning the printer head several times and waiting overnight and into the next day… it printed correctly!!! Thank you so much!

Thank you SO much for this video! I thought my Epson was doomed. All the colors printed perfectly except black. It printed a blank page. I printed about 12 black only purge file pages and still had zero ink on the page. I decided I had to move on and do a print head cleaning. Voila!! It worked! Printed the purge file again and everything looks beautiful. My printed design file has all the colors now. You are a life-saver!!

I just wanted to say thanks for this video. I've got an ET-2750, and my colour printing pretty much quit. Tried the cleaning and printer purge, but neither worked. I then did the deep cleaning, and, let the printer sit for 24 hours. Tried a test page, and it's working great again. Thanks Angie! 🙏

Thankfully, I followed your recommendations and it finally worked after doing the Power Cleaning. I just set a reminder on my phone to do a couple of prints every Friday, if I haven't been printing! this worked! I must've printed close to 200 pages, but the color came back. I think putting in the specific color is a great idea. I kept recycling used sheets instead of wasting tons of blank paper - no that this things working again, I'll have to remember not to let it sit idle for long periods

Thanks Angie! I had spent about three hours troubleshooting the problems with my printing (including lots of Google research) before I found your video. You explained everything so clearly and my problem is fixed!
At first, I thought it was an issue with Microsoft - printing mainly pink from Word. I did a bunch of things in settings etc with no improvement. Then I tested it from Publisher - same problem and again no changes in settings etc made any difference. I tested PDF - same problem. Then a Google doc - same problem. Then I went through the maintenance on my printer. The way the nozzle check outcome displayed on my printer, I didn't pick up that my nozzle check was incorrect. Next, I uninstalled everything to do with my printer Epson ET-3700 and re-installed the driver. No improvement. After all of this, I found a video warning against power cleaning which was focused on purge printing only.
Then your video came up. I had tried printing several purge files (Cyan and yellow being the problems) with no improvement. Your video helped me to realise that there are several other steps so I did a print head clean and at last, there was some colour showing up in the cyan and yellow when I did the nozzle check. Repeating the print head clean and printing one single purge file has fixed the problem. Thank you again.

Thank you Angie! This process (we went all the way through power cleaning) fixed both my ET-3760 and my parent's ET-3850 printer clog. Your clog prevention advice was great too! We don't use color printing very much and had no idea these printers clogged by not using it.
This was perfect and I want to thank you so much for this video. I have not used my printer that I put Sublimation ink in for about 2 years and thought I would have to through it out and buy all new...but this worked wonders. All ink colors were clogged and now they are working beautiful and I can use it again. I truly appreciate this more than you know!!! :)

Time is valuable. And after about halfway through this, I would have just bought a new one. It's frustrating that we even have to do this.
Some people would rather go the budget route and do this. There are other more expensive sublimation printers where this is not needed.
Actually it worked. As you said, I ran the power cleaning, actually waited not 12 but 20 hours, made the nozzle check and it printed perfectly. Before watching your video I was trying whole day head cleaning (like other people advised) and it barely printed anything. I was ready to buy the cleaning solution and wash the heads. But ow don't need it. Thank you for doing it.

I bought the printer in Dec 2021. Because it's installed on our 2nd floor that we barely air condition, summer temps get to about 84 degrees. We are low volume users, especially colors, so I have a monthly reminder go off to print something with all of the colors. Black ink never clogged, but all of the colors just clogged.....thank you for a great video..I had to do the power cleaning.....works fine! now I suppose I need to print more frequently, especially during summer months!

Wow. I have not been able to use my color EPSON 4800 for about 6 months because it was clogged. I have pulled up so many videos online and they were no help or way too long or full of sales pitches. But Angie, your video was simple and explained so well. My colors came back after 4 nozzle checks. The printer is a only a year old and I am so glad I watched your video. This is super helpful. I bought this printer brand new 3 weeks ago. It's not printed yellow from out of the box. I've tried everything. I am returning it to the store. A printer that costs $400 should never be this difficult. It's just not worth the effort to me. I want a printer that prints when it's full of ink and you click the print button.
It could be air in the lines and unfortunately that happens with these EcoTank printers.
@@AngieHolden Hi, mine is brand new (EPSON L3250) just got it yesterday and it won't even print the nozzle check its just blank. The ink in the tank doesn't seem to go to the tubes and the damper. I tried head cleaning, power cleaning but the ink just stays in the tank. Is this considered clogged?

THIS WORKS! After I did the second print head cleaning on day two, the nozzle check looked perfect, so I didn't have to do the power clean! I'm so happy. I'll follow your advice to use the printer at least once a week going forward, to help prevent clogs, because I've definitely been guilty of not using it often enough in the past. I also hadn't considered the impact of the environmental conditions. I now have my studio temperature and humidity carefully controlled, and cover the printer to keep out drafts. Thank you sooo much!!!

Printers log, it's been 27 days of cleaning the printer. Things are getting desperate. The printer refuses to print Yellow and Cyan. I fear we'll never fix the printer. I'm tempted to launch into an angry rage and break the printer.

9 years on my Cannon without any failures, 7 weeks with this horrible ET, to save money on ink??? my time & peace of mind is far too valuable to put up with the non stop headaches of such poor engineering, worst printer I've ever used. And it will receive the official AR send off it so richly deserves. I appreciate your time & willingness to help but it's just not worth it to me.

I’ve only had Canon printers, but got sick and tired of the wasteful cartridges and hassles. I will never buy a Canon again! I’m happy with this one so far, but I have a clogged nozzle.

I just print 1 sheet per day whether I have a job or not. That minimizes the chances of a print head clog for me
Do use have to use sublimation paper everyday or do you use copy paper?

OMGoodness!!! It was a three hour ordeal for me. So much crying and pleading and begging my printer to work. I'm so glad I found this video!!! I avoided a power clean- I wasn't really sure what that does but it sounded good to me- so glad I didn't do it. My yellow was clogged. After 11 cycles of printing purge files, nozzle checks, and head cleaning, refilling the ink tanks, I finally got it! A full purge file printed!! It was glorious! This fixed my issue! I had tried the head cleaning so many times without luck. I did all your steps once and waited 24 hrs. to check the Nozzle again and it worked! I was already thinking of buying another printer but hadn't had this one too long I just don't use it too often and that was for sure what clogged mine. My converted Epson sublimation printer took longer and I had to do the power cleaning as well to get that one working again. But, after 24 hours wait it is now up and running again. I just want to say tyvm for all the information my daughters printer was clogged and she was super worried it was junk she uses it for sublimation and i followed what you told us to do and it worked thank you very very :-)
Angies guidance worked for me on my epson 2760. I did improvise on her colored test sheets by using the largest font in bold 'times new roman" for columns of T's to save ink. Also my black was working fine so I reserved one pair of T's to verify black was ok . I used a double column of T's for each color, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow. On the magenta column I used black for the bottom two T's for my colored Test Print Sheets. On my 3rd nozzle test all colors were showing and the test sheets printed perfectly. This saved a lot of Ink. I only referenced black with 2 T's in the Magenta column as black wasn't a problem with this printer.
Thank you! This works and I can't stress the importance of weekly printing purge files. Weekly printing helps catch it sooner than later if you're not using your printer frequently.

Thanks for the tip, Angie! My Epson EcoTank had stopped printing magenta ink. I ran the Print Head cleaning and nothing happened the first time. But after running it multiple times more and more printed. After running it 7 times it was back to normal.
We don't use our printer regularly, it's just for home use. But we'll start printing something weekly now per your advice and hopefully that will prevent future clogs.

GOD BLESS YOU!!! As usual, I waited until the last minute to do a project for a friend. My Cyan would not print. I DID NOT have 12 nor 24 hours - -- - - after several nozzle checks I found YOU! I printed a couple of purge sheets, then 2 or 3 nozzle checks and 2 print head cleans in between. After 5 minutes I had a FULL page of Cyan!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I would have given up if not for this video and you encouraging us to go ahead and print several nozzle checks, several print head cleans (but print in between 3 of them!) AND print all the dang purge sheets you need! It will work!! Thank you!
P.S. I imagine it was a clog as I print infrequently on my printer (it is normal ink, not subl.), my house is also incredibly humid. I had a trifecta of "don'ts".

Thanks so much, figured I had a clog but you helped with how to clean it out. Yellow wasn't printing at all and after doing a few full color pages, checking the nozzle and cleaning it finally started printing yellow again.
Angie I finally have success after following this video. My ET 15000 went down and I had not used the 2720 and it had a bad clog no other video helped. THANK YOU SO MUCH!❤❤❤

We have the Epson ET-3850. Once the Epson EcoTank Maintenance Box is full, is the printer done? Or, can we replace the Maintenance Box ourselves? If so, how much does the Maintenance Box cost?
Each printer is different. Try googling that specific printer and see if there are instructions.

Thank you Angie for making this video. My Epson printer was not printing any yellow on the test sheet and now after a power cleaning all is well.
thank you for the reminder to just wait sometimes!! I was so frustrated with my printer and had tried everything. I waited the night and then when I tried some of the same steps again this morning, it is back to golden and printing well again!! I will make sure to remember to print weekly now and save myself hours of future frustration hopefully!!

Thank you so much! Epson ET-4750, went through your recommendations - nozzle check print, print head cleaning, multiple purge file prints, then back to nozzle check print. Cyan and magenta were back in the game first (after about 3 cycles), yellow took the longest but after about 4-5 rounds of above mentioned cycle all colors are back in play. Also did each alignment test and realignment. yellow still has some lines on the purge print but ill let it sit till tomorrow and do another head cleaning and I'm sure will be all good! For now its a night and day difference and the other colors are 100% fixed - thank you for this!
