So how much does the head cleaning and power cleaning shorten the life of the printer? And what happens exactly when the printer dies due to that?
To prevent future print problems is it enough to just print the test page (print head nozzle check) once a week or do we need to print the purge page with 4 colors? I hope that the test page is enough as the purge page is using quite a bit more ink.

Even after all the steps, plus a power cleaning... the black does not print. Seems it needs a flushing.

Epson 2800 printed 6 colorful prints then now looks like black isn’t working. Weird. I will try this purge page idea thank you.
