Aloha!... I too am experiencing the GREEN thing... For some reason only other than Black all else is green. This was all working fine for the longest time and just started doing this. I wonder if an EPSON update changed anything.. Was yours always printing Green? or did this just start happening? Mahalo (Thanks)
@@papamrk1343I was thinking the same if Epson messed with their software or something because all my colors are off. My pinks are now magenta red and my greens are like blue green. I thought I was the only one experiencing this issue. I’m frustrated at this point because I can’t seem to fix the issue till this day. This happened to me about a month or so ago where all of a sudden the colors are not printing correctly. Have you fixed your printer yet? Any tips if so. Thanks

Hi Melissa, I have a mac and the f170, love it. I have the sync option and the textile paper or regit option but the other options do not show up when you said more printer settings, I noticed that you didn't have the f170 on the screen to the right, you had the bigger printer so the settings are different and it has more options so some people may think that they have the added options but all printers don't have the exact options. Just my help tip with any confusion because I too said, wait I don't see that option but then I saw the bigger Epsom printer on the right of yr screen and I realized it why I didn't have the same options.

Hi Melissa, thank you for explaining about the colors, I have a new Printer Epson ET-1500 and its not giving me those options Rigid or Textile...I had an Epson 7720 and it has those options but unfortunately I stop using because I accidentally spilled the red ink inside the machine :( So I bought the Epson ET-1500 I love it but I can't not get the color correctly. The purple is printing out like a navy blue. Can you please explain what options sure I use instead??? AutomaticOR Epson SRGB IEC1966-2.1 OR EPSON IJ PRINTER 07. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
The 15000 is not a sublimation printer so it doen'st have the sublimation drivers and that's why you don't have the sublimation color profiles.
I got an epson 8550 and when I select print your options looks way more advance than mine. I reinstalled the software and just look basic. my prints come out very light not full and colorful. any ideas?

Hello. Great tips. I am wondering if you can help me with a issue I am having. I own a epson surecolor f170 that is printing in a odd way. Like about 1/4 of the beginning of the image prints with a ghosting effect. Double image. Afterwards the remainder of the image prints out perfectly fine. I did run the nozzles cleaning and alignment features on the epson and the results I get from running the quality print test come out perfectly fine. Zero issues. I just find it very odd that only about 1/4 of any image I pring is ghosted while the rest of the image is fine. Do you have any idea why this could be happening? Any advice will help. Thanks!

That's b/c that printer is not a purpose built sublimation printer (and is converted) so it does not have access to the same drivers / color profiles as the Epson F170 and F570 which are true sublimation printers

Thanks for this video. In the past I have used it to sublimate colours accurately but now the option for Epson-SC-F100 General/Textile and Epson-SC-F100 General/Rigid is now not available from the drop down or in the other profiles section. Do you have any advice? My colours are all jacked but now. Thanks in advance!
ME again. I have solved it. lol. So, I thought I would post this just in case it can help someone else. All I did was remove the printer from my laptop and re-installed it. Now, I have the original settings!

hi, i dont have these options, I'm on windows is this why or do i need to download smth for printer??
I really wish I could find these settings. I'm guessing it has something to do with Mac vs. PC or the printer I'm using. Epson 2800. My grays are brown and it's driving me crazy!
These settings are only for the true Epson sublimation printers. This is the printer manager for them. You would not have these settings if you are using a converted printer

My grey is printing grey, but when sublimated it's either brown or green 😢 I have an Epson 2720converted to sublimation.

I am using Business Edition of Silhouette Studio so I am not sure if that is why my print box does not seem to have the color sync option??? I can find and change everything else mentioned in this video and your other color fixing video.
Yes I am .. but that would not change anything in the Print Settings. Are you using an F570 or F170?

This video was very helpful. I have an apple computer and an Epson f570 printer. I recently updated the silhouette software and since then all my colors print wrong. I tried calling silhouette America, nobody responds and an email takes a week for someone to respond with no help. How do I fix the settings after the 2024 update?
The print manager looks different after the Mac update I am working on a tutorial/video for that. All the settings are still there though

I think I found the answer - possibly, that Color Sync is a mac thing. Windows is ICM or something like that.
I was hopeful that your video would help. Made no difference on my print. When I print from Windows, the colors come out correctly, but my Mac refuses to do anything but that deeper color of blue. Epson F170 with the newest drivers installed. Any ideas?

I have the same printer and the problem I have is the ribbon came loose and when I do the head cleaning the ribbon came loose and so I called Epson and they told me that it's not under warranty anymore and for me to ship it halfway across the country and so since it's not under warranty anymore do you think I should double tape it like it was

I have never been able to get these screens to pull up. I am using Business 4.5.152ssbe
If you don't have this screen available then you likely do not have the print drivers installed
I can print from every other software just not Silhouette Studio

I,ve been sitting the whole day in front of my screen. I have resorted to printing a color gamut? thingy with color hex codes It is showing me how the printer will print out a color vs how it looks and im now using it as a guide to print turqoise #99FFFF is the closest but dull.
Anyone know how to translate this to HP? My pinks are white and I am at a loss.

If you don't have those options and you're using an F570 or F170 you need to make sure you're printing through the print manager and make sure the drivers are installed.
Enjoyed your video. I did all these steps & my images when pressed are still coming out dark blues & pinks instead of aqua & light pink. What should I do next?
Have you been able to solve your problem? I have the same color issues after I updated the silhouette software. I tried calling silhouette America and nobody answers. I tried email and it takes them a week to respond with no help. This video was helpful at first but since the update all the settings changed and my colors are wrong.
@@goodfellas3240 I called Epson & was able to get this problem fixed. I think it was the last update I did on my Mac. It was hard for me to understand the tech as I having hearing loss.

I'm encountering an issue with the color transfer process. The print is supposed to consist of four colors, but when I use a heat press, only the blue color successfully transfers to the garment. I'm reaching out for assistance as I'm feeling quite frustrated.
I don't have any of these options from my pc. Any idea how to get the color sync on printing preferences ? My screen looks WAY different in my print settings then yours does :/

i am using the free verson in silhouette studio. and when i go to print it doesn't go to the screen you showed . not sure what to do . my black wont print black and i printed a pastel image and it printed rainbow. I have the surecolor f170.

I’m using a epson 15000 and I use silhouette as my go to for designing and printer Jack ink for 2 years no problems at all now all of a sudden my reds are orange and my pinks are peach. Please help I’m clueless as what to do next
That is not a purpose built sublimation printer or one that can use the Epson sublimation print manager so the troubleshooting would likely be different for you.

Hey there, I am sorry but that is because it is not a sublimation printer so it won't have those drivers.
Ok I might not be seeing it, but how do you get to the printing settings on silhouette? When I hit print, it goes to the print preview.
Click Print again and it will go to the Print settings (or turn off Print Preview)

That printer has a different print manager since it's not a purpose built / true sublimation printer.

I'm not sure what version I was using in this video, but it doesn't really matter about that. What you're seeing is the Epson print manager for the F570 and F170

I converted my epson to a sub printer and they all look so pretty and crisp until I print.. then it’s so dull & not sharp at all.

Sublimation prints are dull when they print, the colors will pop once pressed. With that said, with converted printers there could be several different things that are causing issues which is why I don't recommend to convert - it's difficult to troubleshoot.

Hey there! Thanks so much for the kind words. Unfortunately, I really don't recommend converting ink jets because they can be inconsistent and it voids your warranty.
Im not getting that print page for the settings and presets and im using silhouette studio, what is preventing me from seeing that setting layout?

Does the f570 come with an epson software to print from? If so is it compatible to printing with SS?
Yes the F570 comes with a layout software but it's PC compatible only. If you are using Silhouette Studio to design and layout you dont need it b/c the print manager is accessible from Silhouette Studio as well. That's what I use.
really liked your presentation. I have a major problem and I was wondering if you are able to help me or know how to fix my problem. I am using Silhouette Studio (free version 4.5) on my Apple iMac and I am have an EPSON SC f--570 sublimation printer. When printing from that printer,, some colors do not sync. I have a Mac desktop. and I also have an epson eco tank 4800, I am having trouble with all my tumbler sublimation prints with the color grey. how can I fix that.
That is not a sublimation printer nor does it use a sublimation color profiles so I am unable to really help you fix that issue. You'd have to do some trial and error.

Those settings are only in the print manager for the true Epson sublimation printers, not converted printers
I am find that my green's and purples are not pressing the correct color. What are the settings for a PC? I not seeing the same options. I have Textile or Rigid and under more options I see Automatic or Custom. If I choose custom, under advanced I can choose ICC or no color correction.

It's difficult to troubleshoot sublimation issues on converted printers b/c those printers were not intended to be used that way so it could be a print head issue or it could be a settings issue. Hard to say

Does anyone know why my sublimation prints with white or transparent background would come out a really light grey or off white color background? It only prints like this when I print with color not with black and white prints….

Is the background of the image transparent?
Is epson depend on the type of sublimation paper, because I used forever universal and it didn't work the ink come out from the paper!!! And there's no option for glossy paper

So, I don't have those color profiles. There aren't on my Mac nor are they available to download. I am really confused and don't know what to do. My images are coming out too dark/wrong colors.
If you don't have the color profiles then you don't have the correct drives installed. Re-install the printer

Hey there, are you talking about the options in the print screen? If so, that comes with connecting your sublimation printer to your computer.
HI, i know this video is kinda old, but i just bumped into it as im trying to find solution to my epson f100 series. I have the same problem. when i print, there's no cyan, so all turquoise comes out blue and gray, comes out brown. so frustrated! i tried doing this video, i am using illustrator to print my image. i followed everything you showed in the printed setting. but when I printed in the paper, the print out came out with turquoise being dark blue again. what could be wrong? is it my adobe illustrator? where else can i print my image? so that the the print out will show the real color from my computer?

What do you mean the paper type? You are using sublimation transfer paper, correct?

Hey there! Unfortunately it is hard to tell with printer conversions because there could be other things happening.
I, desperately need help printing accurate colors from F170 Epson printer. My greens keep showing up blue and I have already tried all possible color settings from the driver and even different programs including Silhouette. I am using Windows and like someone here has already mentioned, the driver for F170 does not give so many options. Please help me!
Make sure you're done a nozzle check to ensure you aren't missing any nozzles.

If you don't have those options then you are either not using the Epson Print Manager or you have not selected Color Sync in the Print Manager

I am beginning my sublimation journey. i got all my supplies and was so excited to start. much to my disappointment when my epson ST-4000 will not print teal. it always comes out blue. i have downloaded the driver and icc profiles. i stumbled across this video and installed silhouette studio. i tried to follow your steps in printer settings however my printer does not give me the same printer settings option as yours, like color synch! Hi there, I am not totally sure what you mean by printing double. If it is printing two of the same print on one page, I'd check that you don't have the pinter settings to have multiple 'copies'
What about for Ecotank 2800 converted to ecosolvant ink? Colors are so dark than on computer screen its horrible i tried everything in book praying to get this solved with bright colors and i have windows labtop
