    This is very timely, I am just about to press a 'photo blanket'. It does seem like a lot of work especially when I'll be doing over 20 pictures. But like you said after several I hope I will get the hang of it. I would never have thought to do photo edits in Power Point though. I definitely will give this a try. Thanks

    Your video, along with the other video on how to set up the printing settings were EXTREMELY helpful. Sublimation for mug press has been more than confusing and overwhelming. I have a question for you. I did as you did where I changed the brightness and color of photos but then I am trying to cut out faces for my mugs in design space and use their fun fonts. This is a alot of steps and I am finding it to be way more difficult. Is there a way to change the coloring of faces in design space the way you did in powerpoint? thanks so much

    • @QuickSPI
      @QuickSPI  2 года назад

      Glad your pics are coming out better! Unfortunately, I don't use design space. But most programs do have a way of correcting color of photos.

      @@QuickSPI thanks for your response! My mugs have never come out with the yellow/orange / red faces until recently. I have changed my printer to the settings for matte paper, slow, high quality,etc. I have messed with the temperatures like your video. They always print fine but once theyre pressed they come out red. Any suggestion? TYIA :)

    I’m sorry if I missed it but do you need to go through this process with every picture that has someone’s face in it.

    • @QuickSPI
      @QuickSPI  3 года назад

      At first, yes. But after years, I can usually predict what will happen just by looking at the changes on my computer. But still, on big orders, I only print one page and test press. I never print more than 1 page without knowing I've got the temperature right.

      Yes, any time a face is pressing red, orange etc., no matter the substrate.

    Hi can someone please help.
    I was using an
    Epson 15000
    Cosmos Ink
    A-Sub paper
    Premium Presentation Matte (paper settings)
    And I never had issues with colors.
    Printer broke after a paper jam.
    So after that printer first printer broke I went out and got lucky enough to find another Epson 15000. This time I decided to use Epson T49M Sublimation Ink.
    So now I’m using
    Epson 15000
    Epson T49M Dye Sublimation Ink
    A-Sub Paper
    Premium Presentation Matte (paper settings)
    And now I am having issues with the photographs printing out too vivid right off the printer then after pressing colors get even brighter and do not look good. They look over exposed. Especially the magenta is too bright. I never had this type of issue with Cosmos. I am not tech savvy and I just followed the same YT video step by step “setting up Epson 15000 for Sublimation” same video both times. And everything was working fine, colors looked great after subbing. Now that I switched inks I’m having issues. What’s going on? What can I do?

    • @QuickSPI
      @QuickSPI  2 года назад

      Not sure if you're using photoshop. But I've heard that printing in print preview mode can cast a magenta hue to all prints.
