Hmmm not sure Lauren on some of your advice. Especially about the printer. Mine sets for weeks. Because im out traveling, never has been a problem. It is the Epson F170. I think there are more than one way to do things that work.
I'm glad you said this also. I have the same printer. It's a self-cleaning printer. It clearly states that in its info and it will upkeep the heads for you, if you keep it plugged in and on. If you're using a converted printer.. sure... but also using cheapo off brand inks will also dry up and gum up your heads. So it's just familiarizing yourself with the device you're using and using quality ink.
I just got this the F170 but have watched two other RUclipsrs one who confirmed with epson that the printer did not do self maintenance like the sawgrass but you are saying it does? I hope so because that’s the reason I got it.
Is it ok to use brown butcher paper. I've just starting getting what I need to do sublimation and I got the brown, didn't know to get white. There is no coating or anything on it. Would it be ok to use it or do I need to get the white? Thank you for any help.
I think the biggest issue I've had and still have about going from DTF to subli is finding pastel colored shirts that are 65% poly. It's been a couple of years, and I still cannot find high quality tee shirts that don't need to be bleached or are see-through. I'd love some advice!
Question: why does my shrink wrap ALWAYS rip while in the convection oven? I am finding the print is lighter where the shrink wrap rips. Can I get away with NOT using it?

Thanks Lauren! What a great video for beginners and a reminder for those of us that have been sublimating for a while now. Never too good to learn😊

How do you set the ink colors with the paper? Is it on the sublimation classy? I’ve joined the classes but haven’t seen that video

What is the print driver?
I’ve been trying to watch this one all the way through for DAYS! FINALLY, the house is empty and (Hopefully) I can watch before anyone comes home! 😂
Thanks for watching!
