I had done several cycles of nozzle checks and printhead cleanings. The problem was getting progressively worse. It was frustrating. Then I came across your video and it worked perfectly! Thanks!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, I can not say it enough. I truly thought I was NOT going to be able to get my Magenta to work again. I tried everything, but THIS and it worked!!!! I thought maybe I had bought a faulty printer (which I paid a small fortune for) and I had no warranty, so I was really getting worried. So THANK YOU AGAIN, for making this video, you have no idea how relieved I am, to have my printer working properly again and it is all thanks to YOU!!!
Just an FYI to anyone watching this video who has an ecotank... make sure your print out quality is set to the highest settings and make sure any "quick print" options are turned off. Streaks happen often when the quality isn't set to high and it'll make it look like your printer is messing up. it's possible you still have a clog, but it's also possible you don't. I learned that the hard way with my ET 2760. I wasted so much ink doing print head cleanings before I noticed my default setting wasn't on high quality.
Well I’m glad it worked out for you. I have a Epson 2720 and been working it this week then yesterday I noticed lines. I will print that purge image and go from there. Thank you for sharing this video. Wish me luck
If this doesnt work for you, try what worked for me. - I'm trying to print a very detailed multi page Cross Stitch pattern. Getting those horizontal white lines through the print, making it good for only the trash. None of my printers built in functions for maintenance worked.(alignment, nozzle cleaning, etc) I went into the print advanced settings and unchecked the "preserve black ink" option .... for good measure i also set it to best quality. No more lining. Also note, i have an HP ENVY, but all printers suck the same.
I learned to remove the printhead completely and flush cleaning fluid at sink. It is quite easy when you have once done that. Just to remember to cover the wire connections with duck tape.
Thanks.. I finally took the syringe directly to it and it's now printing purge in full color!! Thanks and please continue to bring us more learning videos
Thank you for sharing. My sublimation printer dries up on me because I don't use it enough. Your video helped. I also saw another video that explains "do not do print head cleaning" - just print pages over and over to run ink through the print heads. When you do the print head cleaning that epson recommends then it will end up filling up your maintenance holding tank. By printing pages like your "cmy purge print page" then you run wet ink through your print heads and may eventually unclog them without filling up your maintenance tank. Along with filling up my cartridges to the max and using your recommendation to push some ink through to try and remove air bubbles and printing 6 pages I finally got my print heads unclogged! I will try hard to remember to print the purge page about once a week. Thanks again!
Thats a great method to fix it and also unclog. However you should try to limit the print head cleanings that you do from your printer because your maintenance box will be ful very soon and you wont be able to print again until you replace it. What you can do is to print a small pallete of all colors after you've already pushed air and thats it. Good luck ppl
you are correct, this is an air issue. if one prints normally, whether it be pigment or solvent (sublimation), it isn't likely to harden and cause the clog (blocked nozzles). one may do a head cleaning and see all the nozzles of magenta working correctly, but then suddenly blue is starting to have missing lines, then when you clean it again, it switches over to magenta again and blue is working. the culprit is the ink carts, mainly the part where the heads spikes plug into the carts. they are so cheaply made, air seeps in over time, especially during a head cleaning. there are high vacuum ink carts, they are low profile and don't hold a lot of ink, so you will be required to use CISS tanks on the outside of the printer for these. they are a bit more costly, but well worth it. you will almost never have this issue with high vac carts, but again, you then have to use tanks.
Sorry, but what's a "Sublimation" printer and why would I need it ? This is the first time I've ever heard this term for a printer, but now I must know. Thank you.
What if I still have little pieces missing in my black but not many but when I do a purge print, it shows that nothing is missing, but when I print all my images, my black has lines going down on it
none of my colors are working?? ive tried everything. I even bought new cartridges and have done over 7 print head cleanings and nothing. Any suggestions? My printer is almost new. ive printed maybe 5 sheets out and started having problems.??
Hi, any tip on why when I print something the edges kind of smear? Like the black keeps running so there's little black all along all the edges of whatever I print. Idk what else to do I've switched out the ink, done all of the alignments, everything comes out great but when I print an image..the edges aren't clear/sharp. Help pls?
Im having problems … after doing lots of maintenance on my et 2760 I keep getting lines with white or black dots idk what to do I only had this printer for a month !
So just fine the purge page on google print it and then it will show through the print out? If there is no line I’m good? I get pizza lines if that makes sense anything you can help me with on that?
I printed the purge page and mine came out perfect. But when I go to print some images 😔 it comes out all unaligned 🤦🏻♀️. I’ve printed so many print alignments. I’ve replaced my maintenance box, got new cartridges too.
@@MissKissKreations all fixed now, it's an error in my printer cause it's old but it doesn't really recognize the cartridges well, like yellow was full but it appeared as empty so my green would come out blue.
I think this is kinda annoying but common problem with Epson brand. I think it happens to my ecotank printer I tried testing without risking printing it. It’s not a jipped it’s just annoying that’s it.
Forgive me but this is not the smartest way of doing this. The principle is right but rather than pumping more air into the cartridge, remove the cartridge and then attach a pipe with your syringe attached to the other end and then force printer cleaning fluid through the nozzle where it will be forced into the printer head, it can be collected in your tissue as you show. This problem is not usually caused by air in the cartridge, but nearly always it's caused by the printer head, which is clogged totally, or partially. Doing this way saves on ink and you can buy printer fluid in bulk and its strong stuff designed to dissolve dried ink that is clogging the printer head or nozzle, or both. This problem is not caused by air in the cartridges, but if you think it is, then just remove the cartridge shake it a few times then sit it down for a while and shake it again and let it sit for an hour, remember to cover the nozzle outlet with a tissue, when you do so to save ink going everywhere. I assure you this problem is caused by a clogged head. Just trying to help you save on wasting ink.

If u had done it many times, probably soon you have the ink pad full warning ..
Mine is doing this on high but not ppm 🤔
Instructions unclear, got hotdog stuck in the paper feed. Just kidding, really helpful, thanks. Subbed :) 👍
🤣

On the 2720 the lines mainly come from high speed printing option being checked
Omg it worked! I was going to go out and get a new print nothing I did fixed the problem until I came across this video!! Thank you 😊

My black is printing like that! I hope I can do the same with my et2720! Thank you for this tutorial!
Did it work with your 2720??
.????
Did you resolve your printer issue? I am having the same problem
You saved me!! Bless your heart for making this video!!

Check out cosmos inks website and it lists the printers that can be converted.
Yea this confirmed my thought
Hey hun, I like your video! I just converted my epson workforce 7610 and the colour is not printing . So going to try this
is this ok for the epson Eco Tanks too?
Yes 😊
I have an ET-15000. I don’t see any air holes on this one. My black ink is printing with pinstripes in it. How would I do this ?
Did you fix this? Mine is doing that same
I'm having that problem now with the black.. SMH I got all my other colors working but the black is giving me problems..
hi can this be done with epson l5290?
Thanks so much, very very helpful👍
This works.. subbed
Replacing with new cartridges would work too?
You can give it a try!
Thank you thank you I have tried everything and this was it…..🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU so much. i appreciate you

U added something or is that just air
Mine is an Epson Et 15000. I can't remove the cartridges.
Have you fixed it?
@@gaiusodartey4642 yes I did
Ok so mine didn't do this til it sat for 1 month. Is that what caused it? Like can sublimation ink not sit for too long?
Does the ink need to be removed?
i dont print often. think i've bought wrong printer. thanks for video.
What do you do if this doesn’t fix the problem? I even replaced my cartridges.
Hello so this is Happening to my sawgrass Printer and recommendations?
Sorry. I have limited knowledge to this subject and only know what has worked for me.
Thank you so much!!
What about on a epson 4700
Check on cosmos ink website. They have a breakdown on which printers you can convert 😀
do you have to use a different syringe for every individual color?
you can clean it in between
What if your printer prints out the purge sheet just fine but then leaves vertical lines are reds and blues?
Thanks
Thank you
Where did you get your Cartrigaes
Cosmos ink.
none of my colors are working?? ive tried everything. I even bought new cartridges and have done over 7 print head cleanings and nothing. Any suggestions? My printer is almost new. ive printed maybe 5 sheets out and started having problems.??
Hmmm. I don’t have an answer to that. I’m sorry.

Check out Cosmos Ink on Facebook. There is a Q and A and there is a forum that people can better help with you this problem.
@@MissKissKreations appreciate it thanks !

Hello did you figure this out ?
Yes I did Thank you
How did you fix it? I’m having the same issue with pizza lines
My purge print is coming out blank with ink splatters from pulling air through what do I do to fix this
I’m sorry. I can’t help you 😞
Thanks!!!!!
I printed the purge page and mine came out perfect. But when I go to print some images 😔 it comes out all unaligned 🤦🏻♀️. I’ve printed so many print alignments. I’ve replaced my maintenance box, got new cartridges too.
Oh no. Did replacing your maintenance box work?
@@MissKissKreations yes it did. It was my mistake not changing the settings for Standard from High.
Hi, after doing this my black just stopped showing all together, any tip?
Try cleaning the head again.

how many pages does it take until it the lines clear up?
It all depends on the your printer.
problem of magenta inks ?
I printed out the purge page, and M and Y lines are Wavy instead of straight
Hmmm. I wouldn’t have an answer to that. I’m sorry.
How about Epson l3150?
check out cosmos ink website. he has a list of compatible printers
v v good
after i did that it still prints lines
and worst of all, the colors turned lighter
What do you find that purge page?
Google purge page
How do I do this with my et 2720 ? I didn’t notice any air holes by the ink
I am sorry. I am not familiar with that printer and cannot answer your question.
ok i followed your steps and print page got worse, why is that/
Mine is no closer to that page you printed
