Sis...thanks for sharing. You inspire me to one day do the same. When you had the mishap, it did something to me. It helped to make me feel comfortable as a veteran to make mistakes. I feel that the printer deliberately messes up when it asks if we want to continue using the ink.

Thank you for this video. I spent weeks trying to figure out why my printer wouldn't print anything green. Doing this technique cleared the cartridge causing the blockage and now I'm back to printing.

Good explanation. And if you want to unlock the print head (and cartridges) from its position here is the tip. Turn on the printer and while it is in the middle of the print head cycle, remove the power cable and this will keep the print head unlocked, you can then freely move the print head with your hand.

Yeah normally I do but the ink was way too low in that first bottle. A mess everywhere. Lol.
I have an EpsoN WF 7720. You may know this by now, but when you switch over to sublimation ink, the printer won’t read the levels. So they may show full and they really aren’t. So you just have to check periodically on your own. Don’t rely on the ink levels. They aren’t accurate. I got this information from Angelo Bonaparte from Cosmos Ink. Hope that helps. This video was perfect for me. Thanks a lot for your knowledge. the only way you can move your ink cartidgre to put the paper tower is by unploglin your printer and then you can move it.

this happen to me yesterday with my ecotank et15000. I wasted 4 hours frustrated. To find out that the problem wasn’t the printer. The issue was the sillouhette software everytime an update happens. It glitches the print colors. Also instead of print head cleaning, purge a epson file it will clean lines without you having to then get a maintenance tank.
Love the video. What if that still doesn’t work?
You can move the ink box over easily but starting a print and stopping it mid way by opening the top. Since it is mid print, the ink box will be loose.

Hi Katrina! Is there a way to set the printer to only print from cassette 2 and not 1. For some odd reason every time I try to do a nozzle check cassette 1 jams it prints fine when I print regular but the nozzle check jams all the time. I want to set it to cassette 2 but idk how😢
Mine printed One picture amazing. I've cleaned the nozzle but not I'm doing everthing else to get it to work.
I have tried everything but my blue will not work any advice? I have tried everything all besides buying a new cartridge for blue do u have any idea what it could be because the blue is coming out of the cartridge but it will not print any blue even on nozzle cleaning and checks and priming

Did you mean cap press? That’s a 5 in 1 that I had for a while. I hate it. Heat press nation has a much better one for a great price that I showed in my video on what press to buy.
I feel your pain, I just went through the streaking, with me for some reason my red would just streak, and my black would print at all. come to find out with my black I had to prime the cartridge, and then it started to print, with my red, I had to run the head cleaner about fifty time...lol and it straightened out...

I JUST GOT A EPSON ECOTANK 2850 & I AM HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING SUBLIMATION INK FOR IT AS WELL AS TO WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUBLIMATION PAPER & SUBLIMATION TRANSFER PAPER. THERE ARE SO MANY & I HAVE NO CLUE TO WHICH PAPER I CAN USE FOR LIGHT, DARK T SHIRTS AS WELL AS MUGS & HARD SURFACES. IVE SPENT THE LAST 4DAYS LOOKING FROM SITE TO SITEVTRYING TO FIGURE OUT DO I NEED DIFFERENT SUBLIMATION PAPER & SUBLIMATION TRANSFER PAPER TO DO SHITRTS MUGS TUMBLERS OR CAN I USE JUST 1
You can use any sublimation paper just make sure you get the right size for your printer. And sublimation paper can be used on anything shirts and mugs. I use the same paper for both. Link to the paper I use is down below in my Amazon store or you can buy through heat transfer warehouse

So the ink comes out when I do it with the syringe but when I print something no color comes out only the black
I have a brand new epson ecotank 2850 & I just converted it using printers jack ink. Problem is. My images are comming out very faded. My ink lines are complete & no broken lines. Do u think if I clean the print heads my ink May print more vibrant? Thank u
Every printer is different. Definitely try cleaning the print heads but you might need to adjust your color settings as well.

I have done all this and my yellow still isn't going through. When I push air through the yellow it doesn't go through. Any tips on how to get that unclogged? I have a ccis system and all colors are fine but the dang yellow. :( it is soo frustrating!

No I have never reset my chips. I got them from Amazon
How do you keep it online and connected to your computer? Mine doesn't like to stay connected online and always says it's offline I have the Wf 7720 have had it for 2 years and have yet to get it to work 😭 so much $$ spent and no results
There may be something wrong with your internet. I never had that issues. Once it’s connected to my Wi-Fi that’s it.
How are you reusing the cartridge without replacing the chips
They are the refillable cat ridges

That has never happened to me. Not sure what ink or printer you are using but you may need to contact customer support for your brand. Maybe they can assist you.
I get this as well! You have to align your print head, you do it vertically and horizontally. Sometimes it doesn’t help tho and I hate it but usually it does help

No not any epson printer. I don’t know all the models but it has to have a tank where you can switch the ink and refillable ink cartridges.
Yeah when the original cartridges get replaced the printer won't read the amount of ink accurately

have the same printer and have merged and pushed air out and still this black ink is still printing out broken lines.... so ready to cry and throw this printer against the wall
We better get a continuous ink system to avoid running out of colors and having to refill

I didn't need to push the air through my ink wasn't blocked it just needed to be filled. I was just showing people how to do it because someone asked. Thank you
