This changed my life!! My wife almost threw out the printer haha. Thank you!! E Update 7 months later: Had to do it again, I used an extra syringe I had from pet meds, cut the tip off then used a screwdriver in the hole to stretch it enough so it could fit over the clogged part. No tube needed! Works like a charm.
Where did u find a syringe that can fit the tubing…?? My syringe is too big. I used the tubing from a DT spray bottle which is very small but fits the print head.
@@UniQu3Ly_QU33Ni3 doesn't have to fit perfectly, but snug. if some solution spills, make sure you have paper towel on hand to wipe up or to absorb excess. and remember you mite have to flush print heads several times for a thorough clean. hope this helps. /Bklyn👑
I had to do the cleaning twice. I couldn't believe how much gunk came out of the black print head. I actually found everything I needed at home. I nearly gave up but after the second clean I had to do another nozzle clean and that was it. Then I printed a purge sheet and it was nearly perfect. There were a couple of blank lines still on the black but I was literally getting no ink coming through at all previously. Thank you. I'd just bought new ink so I really don't want to get a new printer.
That aquarium tube usualy has 4mm ID, which is a bit wide. I found that a 2mm ID silicone tube works better, as it fits snuggly onto that printhead prong. I have the same problem with my black, and it doesn't seem to get unclogged. I've used pure alcohol and still nothing. Next I'm gonna use some vodca to see if that works, and if it doesn't, I'll try gasoline or carb cleaner. 👍👍👍
Aaaalmost worked. I think. My printer is one given to me that hasn't been used in years, so the ink is all dried up. This method worked in getting ink unclogged from the cartridge feeder holes (don't know technical term), but I don't know what else is going on that it's still not printing. I give up. Also, Extra TIP: instead of buying a whole bunch of tubing from a pet store, I just bought a water spray bottle from the beauty dept. of DOLLAR TREE! Thank you for this instructional video anyway. You were great at explaining this whole process!
Extra TIP: instead of buying a whole bunch of tubing from a pet store, I just bought a water spray bottle from the beauty dept. of DOLLAR TREE! (Not the bottles from the cleaning supply dept. -- their tubes are much smaller)
The method works, but you have to be careful you do not remove too muck ink, Otherwise when you put the cartridges in it will take a while before you will be able to print and you may have to push some ink through the noozle with the syringe to get the printer to print again.
I sure hope you see this. I did all of this and the the thin plastic piece covering the ink tubes keeps coming off and causing a "paper jam." What can I do about that? Can I tape it down? Thank you for this video.
Can you use this solution on sublimation ink? I have an Epson ET-2750 that I've converted to sublimation printer. I've been using it for several years. My magenta ink is clogged and numerous head cleanings and 2 power cleanings have not fixed the issue. I've printed several purge pages and nothing is helping. Your advice?
Question, my printer is only printing down the middle of the page. Do you know anything I can do to fix it? I’ve tried the head & power cleaning & still doing the same thing. When I do the nozzle check it prints everything correctly. So I’m not sure what’s the problem.
Well, when I started I only had the black & yellow so I cleaned the color jets with this method and now the black does not work either. I will try again but know that without touching the black it won't print after first cleaning.
OK, I tried a second time to flush the nozzles as directed and this time the error message is that it does not recognize any of the cartridges, try turning off the power and reinstalling. I did that twice. Still does not work.
The carriage should be slid to the right since it needs to be there to put the cover back on. Once the cover is back, close the lid, plug it in and power it back up. It should set itself automatically.
If after 10 cleaning cycles you are tired. Do a half windex ( glass cleaning solution, the blue stuff) and half isopropyl alcohol. Prime that piece of s.. equipment, let it sit overnight or 24 hrs and then give it a try. I'll let you know how it went on my brother mfc.

Me i just suck the printhead nozzle with my mouth until the ink is dripping fast, guaranteed results and does not even take 5 minutes. No chemicals, just suck and spit out the ink and wash your mouth.

I need to try this b/c my print head cleanings are not working, but mine is an ecotank, so I'll look into how to do this on an ecotank. TFS!
Best of luck, and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tips. Going to try this for my 7720;;;;; Subscribed and saved.

Followed 3 other videos on what to do if/when the printer does not recognize the cartridges and nothing works after I supposedly "unclogged" the jets.
"I don't have time to buy another printer" that's hilarious, he's just mucked around for quite some time!

glass cleaner with the amonia one ?
Where do I get the Purge sheets?
It does fill up and your printer will stop working but you can fix it
Thanks so much! I have heard about the maintenance tank filling up. It’s not he;penned to me…yet! Thanks for watching!
After cleaning I had to run the head clean function twice before it started printing properly
Thanks for watching!
Where did you get the refillable cartridge? I can’t find a good source

Do you have a link for the tubing you used?
I don’t. I think I got it from Walmart. I’d try Amazon as well!
Hi 👋 now that I cleaned the head where do I position it to restart the printer

I’m not sure, but quite honestly, I’m trying to figure out why you’re calling me an idiot. Only my closest friends usually do that.
Did you say use any glass cleaner? So it doesn’t need to contain ammonia? Because ammonia is restricted in my country
