Becky, this was such a helpful tutorial. I followed you step by step and my printer was setup in no time. Thank you again for making this such a positive experience; very excited to start using my et 15000.
I have been searching for a printer that will print large images for sublimation. I just purchased the ET-15000. I was not sure who I would load the paper, and thought I purchased the wrong printer. Thank goodness I found your video. Thank you.

Hey Becky, I do agree with others about how you take the time to really make this process seem painless to set up😊. My question is, what is the third party ink company did you settle for your printer?
First of all I want to thank you for all the help and support you give us in your videos. I have a question related to the ink. Can I switch sublimation ink brands?
This is a very good set up video. I liked that you kept the information limited to the subject at hand and gave reasons for why you did what you did. I am technologically challenged and I was able to do this on my own (with my husband for moral support during the wifi set up). I actually want to use the printer as a regular printer not for sublimation. The only videos I could find were for sublimation...and I took a chance that the only difference was the type of ink installed. Thank you so much!

@@YumBonBon The SureColor F170 can print up to 8.5x14 size. It is smaller than 13x19, but the printer is cheaper and is designed for dye sublimation. I just got into sublimation with the base level Ecotank and its really great. While it only goes up to 8.5x14, it s a good way to start for ~$200. If anyone is thinking about it, its worth it. Hi, I am having a horrible time getting my Epson 15000 printing. I didn't set it up for wi-fi which I am wondering if that might have been a mistake. I am wondering would it be okay to uninstall the printer and reinstall it? Thanks vicky
Can you do this with any of the epson refillable ink printers??? From reading the comments it looks like you can. I have the 2760 printer ...And can you use the sublimation ink after putting the epson ink in that has been used until empty? Peeps...Becky has mentioned almost every comment what ink she is using..How frustrating for her to type the same answer...It is Cosmos ink! Thanks Becky for this video.
Hey JC! Yes, once an Epson printer is empty of the Epson ink, you can purchase the refillable cartridges and use sublimation ink, just make sure you perform a few print head cleanings to purge out the old ink. I don't know about using any Epson, but the ET-2760 seems to be a good choice. Since it's an EcoTank, I would caution letting the tanks run empty to replace with Sublimation Ink. I would look at disconnecting the tubes from the print head and manually extracting the ink. From what I understand it's quite the process and has a little risk involved, but letting the tanks run empty could be damaging to the printer. Hope this helps! ---Becky
This is great. I was just researching sublimation and happened to notice the north pole truck in the background, recognized it and the say your glowforge! You're in the same group I am on FB lol but thanks for the great info!
Hello. I am thinking of changing from an Epson Workforce printer to an Eco-tank printer. So, I was wondering if you could provide details about which sublimation inks you used in this video and where you can purchase them. Thank you.
The ET-15000 is next on my list to buy. I started sublimation with the ET-2760 and I like it, but the 8.5x11 is always small for Large and XL T-Shirts.
@@sonaturalc4132 the standard 8.5 x 11 print works for small and medium t-shirts using sublimation. For sublimation, I flip the image, print directly from photoshop or illustrator to the sublimation printer on sublimation paper, then press to the t-shirt using a heat press.
Hi, Thanks for the video!! Do you need to have those types of nozles on the ink bottles? I believe the ones I have now are just an open top. Thank you.
I have the ET- 2760 and I wish that I would’ve spent the extra money and got one that prints bigger images. I know that you can print several images and then tape them together with this printer I currently have but I don’t want to do that lol I need a printer that will print the image one and done. Is this one your favorite for that purpose? I don’t do tumblers, just shirts! ❤

Hello. I am thinking of changing from an Epson Workforce printer to an Eco-tank printer. So, I was wondering if you could provide details about which sublimation inks you used in this video and where you can purchase them. Thank you.
You can use any sublimation ink within your budget. The Hiiipoo sublimation ink from Amazon comes with great reviews and is budget friendly. - Dawn 🙂
Thinking of converting my Epson ET2800 to a sublimation printer. Once done, can I use the printer also as a regular printer?
Once you convert your printer into sublimation you can no longer use it as a regular printer since it will have sublimation ink in it.
Do you change the ink settings in preferences? For my 7720 I did change them. Thanks
It will depend on the printer, yes for your 7720 you will want to adjust your printer settings. - Brittany
Omg I want that printer so bad. I have to start saving money now. Your video was awesome!!
Thank you!! 😊 Happy to help!
Hey! Would you say an Epson photo printer wouls be better than a regular one?..looking at the ET 8550...
How many plain 11x17 sheets can you stack in that rear tray ya think?
when you have to clean prindhead or powercleaning to avoid ink provlems?? every month??
Hi, what brand ink did you use?
The ink I bought does not have that kind of spout....can you do a quick tutorial on filling with a syringe?
Hi there! Yes, we've been discussing an Epson video! - Dawn
Hello Epson eco tank ET-15000 can sublimation on dark shirt.please let me know
Hi, I just ordered mine. Wanted to ask you if you’re still happy with yours after 2 yrs?
We've since upgraded to the Sawgrass! - Dawn
Any suggestions on how to get your colors more vibrant? I have the epson 15000 as well and it’s printing dull.
It will print dull and become vibrant once pressed. If your still having issues try changing your print settings to best
The ET-15000 is next on my list to buy. I started sublimation with the ET-2760 and I like it, but the 8.5x11 is always small for Large and XL T-Shirts.
I'd you do not mind how are you printing shirts from the 8x11?
@@sonaturalc4132 the standard 8.5 x 11 print works for small and medium t-shirts using sublimation. For sublimation, I flip the image, print directly from photoshop or illustrator to the sublimation printer on sublimation paper, then press to the t-shirt using a heat press.
@@RCJackman thank you 🙏🏾
@@sonaturalc4132 did that answer your question?
@@RCJackman yes, thank you
You sublimated at standard print? Can you show your settings at RGB?
just followed you step by step and i can hear it sounding like its doing the set up print however when paper comes out it is blank, any ideas
If I used printer jack ink can I change to hippo without cleaning all the lines. Tku for your help and videos
You can however you'll want to make sure your ink is really close to being completely empty. - Brittany
Whats the best sublimation ink do you recommend 😊
I've read that sawgrass is truer to color of original design how do you feel in comparison with the cosmos ink and sawgrass
Thank you for this step by step video
Hi, Thanks for the video!! Do you need to have those types of nozles on the ink bottles? I believe the ones I have now are just an open top. Thank you.
Hi there! Depending on your printer, you may have a newer version than was featured in this video.
I just installed my printer by following your steps but my ink is printing really light. Did I miss any steps?
Thanks for this important information
I have a question can epson l3150 be used for sublimation
Do you recommend me to buy it?
I am not sure if you would be able to convert that to sublimation, my apologies.
Yes! If you are going to be working with larger prints this will work well for you! - Dawn
