I am also very interested in this machine, but it has been confirmed to me several times that if you don't use it for a week the ink inside dries and clogs the printer. We couldn't use it anymore and we had to send it for repair. Do you have this problem? Or do you manage to use it every day? Thank you for this wonderful video!
I've used it every 3-5 days without issue so far. I do have (and have heard of) more problems with the epson workforce printers than the EcoTank versions. A commenter on the Premiere of the video said she's left hers off for weeks with no issue.

The real test on this printer will be maternity leave after baby is here! I love laser printers for regular printing, but for sublimation, Inkjet is currently best. Sawgrass has fewer maintenance issues because it preforms daily maintenance for you (but also uses the very costly ink to perform the maintenance). There is a new laser based sublimation printer available, but I'm curious to see how that technology works, I know very little about it!
@@AshleyMonograms Oui je n'ai vu aucun test d'impression laser en sublimation pour le moment ! Pourquoi votre choix s'est-il porter plus sur l'espon eco-tank plutôt que sur une imprimante sawgrass qui elle, est entièrement dédiée à la sublimation ? Je suis aussi très curieuse pour la sublimation.
@@AdamEtEve2012 Cost and print size. I have a Sawgrass SG400 (like the newer 500) that prints letter size paper. A full link refills costs hundreds of dollars. The bigger Sawgrass does print a larger size, but the initial printer cost and the ink cost are very high. I plan to use the EcoTank as a transition to see if I will use it enough for business to justify an upgrade to a true Epson sublimation printer like the Epson F570.

Why did you use premium presentation paper mat? doest it come with sublimation ICC profiles.
I was told you never do the firmware update.

Why won't it print 11x17, it clips it regardless of my settings
Can’t you use teflon sheets instead of paper?
You'll want a fresh sheet each time as you can get some bleed through that you would not want to transfer onto your press platen or the next item.

These are the exact same settings I still use. I print direct from photoshop.
