Great video. One question I had was how are you applying color profiles in your computer? Cosmos and Edison provide downloadable profiles and I was wondering if you printed the tests using the correct profile for each? I have the f170 with epson ink and I’m looking to upgrade to the et15000. I would imagine all I would have to do would s make sure the settings are all the same and my colors would look perfect. I print customers photos on metal panels so I have to be as accurate as possible.

Thank you for the detail set up video...I just got my printer too!!! Question...what settings do you use for printing? I feel like I'm not getting the most out of my ink (might be the ink too)!
What program do you use for creating designs. I printed a design using Canva and it is very dull. Not sure how to change the settings to get the correct coloring for the image. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. This is the first time to open the box and use my new Epson EcoTank 15000.
If your using the same brand you can add ink at any time. If you’re adding a different brand you’ll want to print on regular paper until all the ink runs out and then put in the new ink.
Your videos help alot, I love watching! Is it true you have to use the sub printer everyday, or the ink will dry up? Also, do you leave your sub printers plugged in all time? I've had My 15000 printer for atleast 2 months, and it's still in the box. I'm so nervous to take it out and start using! Lol thank you for sharing, have a great weekend!
What are you afraid of? I can tell you that weeks go by and I don’t use mine and my ink has never dried up. I do leave it plugged in as well all the time where I have it set up.
I have heard that you need to leave the printer on so that the sublimation ink doesn't dry up. I have tried researching this but cannot find out if that is true or not. I do not print everyday, I only print maybe two or three times a week. But when I do print I'm printing multiple pages at a time. I agree with Retired Granny, don't be afraid!! When are u coming back Emma? I miss seeing your videos. I know this is an older video, but does this really print 13x19 ? I have been going back and forth on printers, i originally wanted this printer but currently its the same price as the epson ecotank 8550 and people say the biggest the 15000 does is 11x14 and the 8550 does borderless 13x19..... so i just ordered the 8550 after watching videos of people comparing them. Now im wondering if i did the right thing? Its supposed to be delivered tomorrow and i havent ordered the cosmos ink yet either, I currently use an epson ecotank 2760 and i just want a bigger or wider format.
It does print that big but it will have a slight border limitation. The biggest I usually print is 17x11 so I wasn’t to worried about it. I’ll be back soon!!
So, after the initial sublimation ink set up and after you run out of the sublimation ink, when you need to refill the sublimation ink... what it that process?
I just add more sublimation ink. I’m happy with the Cosmos ink in the one and the Epson ink in the other so I haven’t needed to switch brands. If you did want to switch brands, they say you should try and run it until it’s out before changing to another brand.
If you change from one brand of ink to another do you need to wait until it is completely empty or can you add the new ink to the printer when it is low?
To be safe, I have heard that you should wait until the current brand is out before you add in another brand. Some say if it is really close then purge the remaining ink by adding in cheap copy paper and printing over and over again until all the ink is out, then add the new ink.
I have the Epson workforce 7210. Do you know how to get my colors set on this printer? When I look at what I'm printing the color is correct on the computer but when I press it it's a grayish color.
I'm thinking I did. It prints it's just the colors don't come out correctly once they're pressed they look correct when they print on the paper. How can I check to find out if I've done the drivers correctly?
