Grand inquisitor before order 66: I'm gonna turn to the dark side and learn the secrets of Jedi. Grand inquisitor after order 66: Woah, just in time...
Five Shots No Kills he and the inquisitors had so much potential, but thanks to angry clone wars fans demanding for darth fucking maul they didn't have the chance!
I don't think we can blame Maul since he didn't come along in tell the finale of season 2. I just don't think they knew what to do with the Grand Inquisitor.
Edgard Flores even maul didn't make much appearances, in season 3 he appears only on 3 Episodes and gets killed miserably, while the inquisitors he killed lasted more time against him.
So basically Vader taught the inquisitors to spin their blade to be more effective? Which reminds me of lil Anni's quote "Try spinning thats a good trick" 😂😂😂
I really wish that they saved the grand inquisitor for later seasons, it would've been cooler to see one or two inquisitors fight and die in season one only to have the grand inquisitor come and really give kanan and Ezra a beating. A fight between the grand inquisitor and maul would've been way cooler.
Imperialx Warlord The Grand Inquisitor made one hell of an impression in Rebels season 1. While I liked Darth Maul appearing in the show and wrapping his story up, I'd have much preferred to see the Grand Inquisitor more.
Anthony Ortiz I feel like what we got with fifth brother and eighth sister wasn't as good as what we got with the grand inquisitor. They were a literal step down from the GI.
Imperialx Warlord Yeah, they killed him off way too early. Had they developed his character more, he could have been the "Darth Vader" for the Ghost Crew. It was nice when he made an appearance to Kanan in season 2, though. Maybe we'll get one more in season 4, perhaps detailing Ahsoka's fate.
Anthony Ortiz yeah having him as their Darth Vader would've been really cool, and more interaction between Vader and him would've been interesting as well, we never really got to see much interaction between darksiders.
Imperialx Warlord That's true. We also haven't seen much of Rebel's version of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Maybe I need to view season 3 again, but he was always softspoken and a good tactician... and that's it.
The Inquisitor with a helmet covering half of his face and showing only the mouth (the medium gray one, not the big one) is clearly the Sixth Brother, the one defeated by Ahsoka in her novel. I checked his appearance description as soon as saw him and it matches perfectly.
The Lol Cat use him as the ghost crews Vader, the other inquistors should have been killed off in season one and have him be the next step up, not much tension fighting two weaker minions all season after killing the most powerful one.
During season one; I would have laughed at this comment, but season two and three have truly redeemed this show in my book. I'm really excited for season four.
Im a huge legends fan but this backstory started to give me some hope now. I hated that he died in Season 1 that was bullshit I wanted to see him grow and become powerful
Star Wars Explained idea: "Was Ahsoka's vision Anakin's true feelings? " Do you think her vision while meditating in the temple of Anakin being upset saying she abandoned him was what the real Anakin felt beneath the Vader mask? Or was it just a personification of her own guilt? Me personally i believe it was his real feelings reaching out through the force.
I thought the inquisitors were more like Maul. Asassins trained for combat in the dark side, but not meant to be sith, thus not breaking the rule of 2. However, doesn't Sidious allowing the grand inquisitor to study the dark side in depth essentially lead to him becoming a sith and thus break the rule of 2?
It's really intersting that the judgement of Ashoka make him loose his faith in the jedi and then lead him to be a dark side user. I hope the movies will show too how the jedi are not just "the good guys" but an order who failed and something like the Bendu (or maybe Luke become a grey force user). I know a lot of people who only watch the movies but are like "jedi are the good guys and sith the bad guys" but it's more complicated right?
Episode 1 showed it very well. Instead of helping the Naboo, the Jedi Council sat there like the fat oafs they are. And they didn’t want to train Anakin.
Yes. Ahsoka did kill an Inquisitor and if you look at Maul's saber as "The Old Master" it looks like a broken ringed Inquisitor saber so Maul musta killed an Inquisitor also. The Grand Inquisitor fell to his death and 3 more die on Malacore. That would make 6 dead Inquisitors out of 8 so 2 remain going by the way they were named/numbered. Who are the missing 2? Maybe Barriss Offee will be shown in Rebels season 4 and promoted to the rank of the new Grand Inquisitor and Mara Jade is the other one and they plan to find/train new Inquisitors but then Vader will say no he wants the last 2 Inquisitors to find/kill Kanak and Ezra. There will be no more Inquisitors if Barriss fails.
Loke Lion It's the one beside the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister, his appearance matches perfectly with the Sixth Brother description on the novel.
Fun fact: The Grand Inquisitor survived in spirit after his suicide attempt and was still enslaved by Vader, tied down to guard a Jedi outpost at Tempes to kill those seeking knowledge. In fact between TESB and RoTJ, Luke dueled and defeated the Grand Inquisitor. That's really hard to imagine just going between the films and visualizing the Grand Inquisitor, but it happened.
I still think the Grand Inquisitor might have survived his fall into the fire and maybe return later in some way. I once thought the Grand Inquisitor became Snoke but after seeing more of Snoke I know they are not the same alien type so that ends my hope of that theory coming true but it woulda been awesome if Snoke was the Grand Inquisitor. I still think Snoke is a great new villain and most fans will like him in The Last Jedi more then they liked him in The Force Awakens. In TFA he was a 30-foot hologram and I was hoping he would pull a "Wizard Of Oz" stunt, the real man hiding behind someplace using the giant Snoke as an image to create fear and gain total control of the galaxy then be discovered by his enemies or reveal himself as the man behind it all later in episode 9. Snoke's Red Guards are a lot like the Knight Of Ren and the Ren Knights remind me of the Imperial Inquisitors. Maybe the Ren Knights are the new version of the Inquisitors? Maybe the Grand Inquisitor's real name was Ren? Maybe the Grand Inquisitor was saved by Snoke or found by Snoke later and recreated like Anakin was recreated into Vader, but then Ben became Kylo Ren and given command of the Knight Of Ren and the real Ren/Inquisitor is still by Snoke's side waiting to make his return as the original Master of the Ren Knights since Snoke will be training Kylo to be his Apprentice, the Knight Of Ren will need a new/returning leader? Wow, that's a lot to think over. Thanks for the video and thanks for giving me more to think about when it comes to these characters. You are awesome.
If you didn’t know this already, The Grand Inquisitor is one of the two guards that stands behind Bariss when she gives her speech, so he would hear what she had to say first hand, and there was some truth to what she said. That’s why he became conflicted with the Jedi order like you said #stupendouswave
The Inquisitor that's what happens when you cancel out the only advantage your spinning lightsaber has, holding it still begging your enemy to slice it apart
In the Ahsoka novel we are told that she fights an inquisitor on Rada. HE is described as having a large stature, grey skin and to look as though he came from an aquatic world. With this information (both new and old), we can infer that he is one of the two new inquisitors that dont make it to the Rebels series.
+The Stupendous Wave #Suggestion What if Han Solo never met Chewbacca? What if Gilad Pellaeon defected to the Rebel Alliance? What if Mace Windu killed Dooku in the Geonosis Arena?
I wouldn't mind if they brought the Grand Inquisitor back encased in a life support suit, somehow surviving the explosion he fell into (stranger things have happened in Star Wars). He shows up in the final episode(s) of Rebels, finally accomplishing his task of defeating Kanan Jarrus and turning Ezra Bridger to the dark side, who in a fit of rage kills the Grand Inquisitor once and for all.
Hey StupendousWave I've been seeing a great amount of your videos being shared on Facebook but all the links bring me to a Website that only posted your entire video with ads on the sides of the website. Do you have any involvement in this website?
I'm just wondering how they were allowed to get red crystals for their light sabers, unless due to the fact that they aren't sith, they don't get to perform the action of imbuing the dark side into stolen lightsaber crystals and the subsequent "bleeding" technique is only for sith to use
Could you do a video on "What if Darth Vader found baby luke and leia"? I think it would be interesting. It might have even prompted Vader to turn back to the light side quicker. Or maybe Palpatine would have ordered Vader to kill the children as a test of loyalty, which if he disobeyed he would surely die (and maybe train Luke and Leia in the dark side of the force their entire life). Vader could also have chosen to raise his children in the dark side of the force in order to one day kill Palpatine. I think it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the matter.
5:02 *Vader's about to kill the Grand Inquisitor* Palpatine: "Vader, stop!" Vader: *holds his position and looks at the Emperor* "what? I was just gonna kill him.."
Fun fact: The character Starkiller from the Force Unleashed video game was considered by the crew on Rebels to be made one of the inquisitors, but as we saw that didn’t happen. Good reason in my opinion.
I like how they were around before 66, and it kind of seems like then that ventress could’ve been one of the first ones, as she really wasn’t considered a sith by palpatine
I posted my ideas about that. in this video. The Grand Inquisitor reall coulda been more and they never showed us how he became what he was or show us him training the other Inquisitors. That woulda been so cool to see.
Because of my work schedule, I can't go and pick up my comics till the Saturday after they are released. I'm not going to watch the video yet so I'm not sure how much of the inquisitors story is told in the comic. But I would have really liked to have discovered he went to the dark side before order 66 by reading the comic, and not from your title...
Could you please do an explanation video about how the grand Inquisitor appeared again at the Jedi Temple on lothal as a temple guard after his death, and if it was really him redeemed in spirit? or just an image of a ancient memory? Etc
At one side it wasn’t smart to start of with strongest one and then follow up with the weakest two, but at the other side whenever he was present the power differnce did make you genuinly scared
Hello, I wanted to ask you a huge favor. I'd like to read the comics but when I look online to see what order is should read them I can only find the ones from marvel, i wanted to ask you want order i should read them in from the beginning, before Disney, but for now I'd like to know only the canon ones, think you could give me a hand? Thanks!
#sugestion When Obiwan fought anakin he said he had the high ground and the duel was decided because of that, yet when he fought Darth Maul in Episode 1, Darth Maul had the high ground when Obiwan hung from a ledge or pipe. We all know how that duel ended. Care to explain the reasons behind Obiwan's victory in Episode 1 from the low ground and Anakin's defeat from the low ground with him being more powerful and roughly the same age Obiwan had during Episode 1? Thanks love your videos
I'm confused about the grand inquisitor when he ranked canan to the knight was this at the start of rebels cuz some inquisitors later say grand inquisitor can someone tell me please
If it is a sith (thing) to bleed a crystal how did the inquisitors get the red blades?? And wich (if any) jedi did they kill to get the crystals. If they are not true bleed crystals then what are they???
Are there any Jedi or Sith that continued to use Force-imbued blades or katana even after the invention and use of the lightsabers? If so, who were they and how powerful or weak were they? #suggestion
Wasn't it said that he was the jedi guard that questioned yoda where he was going when anakin helped yoda escape the temple ..I think beginning of season 7 clone wars ..I think they did it on purpose to show the jedi guard hand is chalky white like the inquisitor
It sounds to me that the Inquisitor was just pissed off about not being in the archives just as Anakin was and going on that note kinda ruins the Head Inquisitor's story. It would be a little more interesting if he slowly lost it after order 66 and see how it affected him. Perhaps it could have been the death of a favored padwan or something that set him off. He tried to kill Vader and after recognizing the darkness Vader toyed with him to let him live and become part of the New Sith Empire
#suggestion In Episode V, Sidious and Vader discussed the presence of the offspring of Anakin Skywalker (aka Luke). Initially, Sidious ordered Vader to destroy Luke, but Vader suggest it will be better if Luke joined them. Then Sidious agree and consider Luke as a great asset. So what are the true intention for both Sidious and Vader to capture Luke? Since rule of two can't be broken, are they hunting Luke to join them as Inquisitor? Of course, both Sidious and Vader had their own agenda for Luke. But I would like to see your view and hope that you made a video for it.
I didn’t hate that he was killed off, however, it could have been done better. They could have either done a redemption arc, where the inquisitor returns to the light and becomes a undercover agent for the rebels, perhaps his turn to the rebels could have played Into Agent Kaluis’ switching sides, and he would be killed by Vader or the by other inquisitors. Or the better option, and kept him around longer has a regular thorn in the rebel’s side until either one of the two Jedi or both defeated him, and then do what the original death scene did. Referring back to him saying “There are things far more frightening than death.” Because that a pretty good line to send off a bad guy.
They're just the same species. I'd love to see what happened to Barriss. Barriss is very proper. 7th is crazy and dirty. I think she was taken very young. She looks like a young teen in this
Grand inquisitor before order 66:

He certainly changed at the right time

The Grand Inquisitor is great, shame he died so early on in Rebels.

Good fun seeing Vader slapping them around and how they are nothing comapred to the Sith.
Sith are powerful. But will never be the overall victors
The Grand Inquisitor should NOT have been killed off.
Jackson Weaver well what would they do with him
The Lol Cat use him as the ghost crews Vader, the other inquistors should have been killed off in season one and have him be the next step up, not much tension fighting two weaker minions all season after killing the most powerful one.

Yeah he is. He's not fat in this comic and about 15 years younger. He let himself go

No, he would learn Jedi arts mostly, for efficient killing. Sidious isn't stupid.

One thing that got me about to the grand inquisitor was the fact he lost to a Padawan.
A Jedi padawan filled with anger and revenge and who used his sorrow to strengthen him
I Dunoh that is true. But having raw power doesn't necessarily mean you can use it. I do see your point though.

I was thinking that very same thing. Someone ask Pablo for the answer.
How did the Inquisitors get red blades?
Most likely the Inquisitorius were just given red crystals rather than having to go out and bleed some crystals
grievous the bleeding thing is only 4 sith not inquistors
It's for all darksiders. Idk where some of you guys get information. Kylo Ren has a red blade. Not a sith.

Love his Temple Guard uniform over his inquisitor suit. Would've looked pretty nice if the Temple Guard uniform was toned black instead.
Now that I think about it, The Grand Inquisitor V.S Darth Maul would of been a good lightsaber fight 👀
Danny Garcia Darth Maul would win. Maul = Vulgar, yet true sith lord. Grand Inquisitor = former jedi
I'm guessing the new Inquisitor on the far left is the Sixth Brother that gets killed in Ahsoka
Hi I love your videos!
#sugestion
When Obiwan fought anakin he said he had the high ground and the duel was decided because of that, yet when he fought Darth Maul in Episode 1, Darth Maul had the high ground when Obiwan hung from a ledge or pipe. We all know how that duel ended. Care to explain the reasons behind Obiwan's victory in Episode 1 from the low ground and Anakin's defeat from the low ground with him being more powerful and roughly the same age Obiwan had during Episode 1?
Thanks love your videos
Maybe I missed the explanation but why did he turn good and how did he survive from season 1
They got free crystals from Palpatine that may or may not been pre-bent like Maul.
Stupendous, I'd love to ask if you could do a video on the Dark Sabers Mandalorian Jedi wielder please #suggestion
Tar Vizsla created the Dark Saber and was the first Mandalorian to join the Jedi. Seeing more about him would be so awesome.
I used to think the grand Inquisitor was Darth maul's other brother
It sounds to me that the Inquisitor was just pissed off about not being in the archives just as Anakin was and going on that note kinda ruins the Head Inquisitor's story. It would be a little more interesting if he slowly lost it after order 66 and see how it affected him. Perhaps it could have been the death of a favored padwan or something that set him off. He tried to kill Vader and after recognizing the darkness Vader toyed with him to let him live and become part of the New Sith Empire
That was amazing!!
Awesome video..
I'd like to hear a definite explanation as to why the temple guards' lightsabers are yellow.
Why not? Because yellow's cool.
I would like to know if the Bendu from Rebels intertwines with Snoke at all? /#suggestion.
Maybe one of the two unknown Inquisitors is the eigth brother, who was killed by ahsoka
Can u make a vid about xoxann and karnass murr and ajunta pall please
how does one become a Jedi Temple guard?
Who is the seventh sister, I thought maybe is was Barriss offee, do you think there was a chance it was her
They're just the same species. I'd love to see what happened to Barriss. Barriss is very proper. 7th is crazy and dirty. I think she was taken very young. She looks like a young teen in this
If the inquisitors were being trained this long, what was with those Dr Cylo experiments to replace Vader in the first series?
What do you think about what the emperor said about vader's suit
