Every once in a while something decent is added to Star Wars that isn't some shoe-horn or retcon, at least not entirely. That cave being strong with the Dark Side was probably taken by people to mean it was deceptive illusions and corruption. Yoda needed to reconcile his soul and choices, before closing a chapter and taking on Luke as an apprentice. The weight of many bad decisions had to be balanced. The Force decided that this was the time.
I get why yoda blames himself. Anakin went to him for help and told him “let go, everything you fear to lose.” How is Anakin suppose to “let go” of his child(ren). But then again maybe if anaking was honest with him then yoda probably would’ve told him better advice.
But I mean, what else was Yoda supposed to tell him? Even if Yoda had known about Padme it's not like he has a cheat code to prevent death. I get why Yoda feels that way too but when it's all said and done, Anakin is responsible for his own actions. People's wives literally die every day and they don't go on murder sprees.
Yoda's advice was sound; It was Anakin clinging to one particular vision of the future (and in response, making uniformly terrible choices/giving up on true principles to prevent it) that, ironically sealed Padme's fate and his own. A mirror to Yoda's vision narrowing down to hubris/complacency/the belief he had nothing more to learn. Sidious could not have succeeded solely through planning and sorcery without Yoda clouding his own vision in these ways.
Anakin is just obsessed to gain power. Yoda knows more about suffering than anakin. The guy saw he's allies dying all over the century that's why, he want first for Anakin to overcome fear and accept what's the truth to not fall on dark side which is what they totally predict on Anakin.
to let go is the way of the Jedi, to not strive to control everything. everything Yoda told Anakin was true, that not letting go of your fears is a path to the dark side. for normal people they don't have to let go, but for force sensitives the dark side will consume you if you try to use your power to control your fears.

Am I the only one who finds it hilarious Yoda had a bad nightmare, essentially a bad trip, AND THEN GOES TO GATHER HERBS? After that, he should stay the fuck away from herbs for a while!
Like Qui Gon said, "Had he been born in the Republic, we would have identified him early." As in before forming an attachment to his mother. He would probably have been taken from her before he had solid memories of her. He was a child, yes, but one with issues that had he not been born where he was wouldn't have happened. Luke had the same issue. He started his Force training as an adult instead of as a child, when he would have been more open to learning. He has his "rules" for the galaxy, ones that using the Force would contradict and thus make it harder if not impossible to learn.
I believe the title of this video is misleading. The cave was not his undoing, it was his final test to be ready to teach Luke and become a ghost. Having to watch those demonic visions and letting go of his guilt and grief is an astonishing story.
The fact that he spent YEARS alone.. such a thing USUALLY alone by itself does that to most people an would assume most alien beings too. Would think all of this is LESS of the Nexus which supposedly he was so Lightside strong it DIDN'T EFFECT HIM. Allegedly. seems to me it's guilt over all that happened with the war an the OT WHILE he was trying to get his motivation an spirit back especially near the end. Just prior to meeting Luke An perhaps even Starkiller in Legends an helping to guide them both as the Master we know
Good for the cave tbh, Yoda fucked up a lot and really should have to deal with his mistakes; if he hadn't messed up so many times then the Jedi order wouldn't have fallen.
This is why I hate these kind of stories where you're looking at Yoda after the fact. They make it seem like Yoda is actually grown but you can see in the movies that he's just as dogmatic as he was in the prequels. He refused to accept responsibility for his part in the Sith schemes and only blame them. You can see that in the dialogue of The empire strikes back.
Not sure I like seeing Yoda get the Jake Skywalker treatment, but not a bad story. I would have left the High Republic character out because next to no one reads that crap.
A good story basically, but I think that when one is tormented with demons of darkness and guilt, only God can get you out. Of course in Star Wars world, that is the Force. A special grace has to be given, a salvation. You cannot do it yourself.
Yoda refused to make Anakin a Master but put his side piece Yaddle on the council. In any modern organization he would have been removed from power if not arrested.
Everything happens for a reason it would be different if they trusted dooku and qui gon but the past is gone the future is on its way , why dont we ever discuss rey?
.....and Dooku is reduced to a grizzly, crippled, zombie, just to haunt Yoda. Actually makes me feel sad for Dooku.

The problem is that he thought he's the main character. He was just as arrogant as the Jedi Council, and help create a war across the galaxy.
Star Wars has so much potential for great stories. It crazy how Disney fucked it up
Great Video
Thanks!
would be cool if you could link the comics
Thank you for this video.
My pleasure!
I am very happy for Yoda. He has overcome his guilt and now will train the new chosen one.
Those instruments exist there called “thumb pianos” simple metal keys with different weight & sizes making a music scale
Good job man
I thought it was because he was supposed to finish his training to manifest himself after his death as a force ghost.
Can we get a video on why the Jedi didn’t trust Anakin? I csnt remember if you’ve done that before but I’d love to hear why
It took this long for Yoda to finally acknowledge what happened to Yaddle.
That was amazing
Ladies & Gents, dont forget to give our hard-working boy his well-deserved 👍
6,000+ views with less than 800 Likes, doesnt seem quite right anyhow. 🤔
Appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Love Master Yoda. Lol.
This was super cool
This was a good one 👏🏻
Master Yoda went senile on Degobah. The song "Seagulls: Stop it Now" is proof.
Just prior to meeting Luke An perhaps even Starkiller in Legends an helping to guide them both as the Master we know
i've been spiritually attacked before
He should of went insane.
We need a Darth Yoda🔥
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Dagobah just there to break you and build u back up
i like clowning on yoda giving him the loser hat. but at times i pity him
so unfortunate >_
Interesting
yoda playing hos cute little instrument is heart warming ❤️
Good for the cave tbh, Yoda fucked up a lot and really should have to deal with his mistakes; if he hadn't messed up so many times then the Jedi order wouldn't have fallen.
Star wars rly has some weird dark shit sometimes
Yoda would be a great catalyst for fixing the sequel trilogy cannon
Как называется комикс?
This is why I hate these kind of stories where you're looking at Yoda after the fact. They make it seem like Yoda is actually grown but you can see in the movies that he's just as dogmatic as he was in the prequels. He refused to accept responsibility for his part in the Sith schemes and only blame them. You can see that in the dialogue of The empire strikes back.
Not sure I like seeing Yoda get the Jake Skywalker treatment, but not a bad story. I would have left the High Republic character out because next to no one reads that crap.
So the cave is the fear hole from Rick and Morty?
Hasn't the fandom agreed that Yoda and Yaddle had Grogu as those are the only two members that are male and female of Yoda's species.
Cool
the disney canon is a alternate reality not the main timeline
A good story basically, but I think that when one is tormented with demons of darkness and guilt, only God can get you out. Of course in Star Wars world, that is the Force. A special grace has to be given, a salvation. You cannot do it yourself.
Yoda refused to make Anakin a Master but put his side piece Yaddle on the council. In any modern organization he would have been removed from power if not arrested.
Too bad Disney can't get out of their own way and make this storyline into a miniseries....
Bro, can you put a link to all these books/comics to where I can buy them? I really wanna read them 😂
It’s the 2023 Marvel Yoda comics! I’m sure you can find them online somewhere 😊 Personally, I like Read Comics Online but there’s ads to fight through
Everything happens for a reason it would be different if they trusted dooku and qui gon but the past is gone the future is on its way , why dont we ever discuss rey?
Awww this is so sad
