Man what an exciting video. I felt it personally in my heart. Brand new quad!!! You all have the best of all worlds. Raptor 700, yfz 450, honda 400ex, suzuki 450, Plus the utility quads and the sxs. Riding for all terrains. Great video fellas
Congrats on the brand new quad. It’s a great feeling. I bought my 2020 raptor from the dealer back in feb. first quad I had was an 86 Suzuki 230 quad sport. Look forward to seeing you guys have fun with that 450 and the mods that it’ll see in the future.

i got the blue 2021 450r owned it for about 5 months now i love it i have a full hmf on it with a pc5 i got lucky with mine i called the dealer and in 2 weeks i had the atv i got lucky as hell but i wanted the white and black also but it looks nice bro welcome to the 450r family

Great looking quad! I picked up my white and black SE two weeks ago. Do yourself a favor and change out the clutch basket for a 09-10 clutch basket before it grenades.
Or just go aftermarket
@@pghdave420 2014 and up has a 3 rivet design holding the primary gear to the clutch basket. They have a high failure rate and have been known to take out the case. A recent thread on YFZ central has Yamaha replacing a failed 2018 basket with a 09-10 basket under warranty. Maybe Yamaha will go back to the 09-10, eight rivet design.
I might go with hinson clutch basket with my 2020
@@Bumpertrash1 I like Hinson. I bought the Hinson parts but I bought them for the 09 style clutch basket. The Hinson basket for the 2020 matches the 3 rivet design. I hear Hinson will tell you their 3 bolt design in not immune to blowing apart either. At least that is what some will tell you on the forums. I played it safe and went with the tried and true 8 rivet/bolt design.

I don't blame u for waiting for that color combo def best looking! It's so diffrent riding new, nothing wobbles,squeaking or flopping around, everything's nice and tight. This is 3 mo old so I hope she's still lookin good lol.

And lol man I want to especially being that I got so much money tied up in it with aftermarket performance mods, but man the rod went thru the case and did aloooot of damage, and As much as I'm thinking it would probably take to start over, I'd actually rather put that money into a new quad knowing I have something New and more reliable! But either way or, I need some cash first! Lol
You need to swap out the clutch basket to a 09-10 oem yfz450r clutch basket. These new yfzr’s have issues with the spring baskets blowing up and destroying the engine. The 09-10 basket is a cushion basket with no springs to explode. I’ve seen tons of guys do major damage with the new clutch baskets exploding. BNR Motorsports sells the complete clutch upgrade.

Your dealer prepped yours up nicer than my '21 Raptor 700R-SE. I mean was shinier /presentable. Btw, i pd msrp = $10,785 w/tax/freight. Yes they are all hard to find 450cc & 700cc . Yamaha #1

That is correct because of emission regulated stuff. But an AIS delete kit and and fuel programmer will clean that all up
What is the ais? Not too familiar with the newer ones mine is carburetor

Depends on condition and any after market parts that are on it, I’d say 5-9k

I really hate saying this because I'm a Yamaha owner and have owned several different Yamaha Quads but these new color schemes are horrible. Well maybe I'm not using the correct words because there not horribly ugly but they definitely look like Yamaha got lazy with the design/color schemes. This is just my opinion but I'd be getting a complete graphics kit ASAP. Anyways congratulations on your new quad, you never can go wrong buying new though. Save the Sport Quads 🤙🏻👍🏻
