They have an aftermarket turbo upgrade kit for these with slick tires they have the boost guage cluster and turn signal mods as well you should check out videos rite here on RUclips yamaha 700r turbo, and also if anytime you blew the engine you can do a swap for the yamaha r1 engine which is a beast

put some wheel spacer on them for 100$ front and rear done its wide for cheap. and if you dont off road it put some low profile street tires on it.
but i do agree they heavy boys then 700
