@@jannesmith3874 Yep! Just added them to the description!
I would like to see more of your beautiful cake definitely ❤️
delivering cakes is an anxiety a baker can't explain to someone who don't do cakes lol I'm nervous with every delivery
Haha! Definitely. I’ve been doing it for years and still get nervous! 🙃
me too lol
Facts
Always so nervous
We agree thats why we made one for bakers like you!
I was so nervous watching this!! I definitely felt everything! Excellent!! So real!
Agh! It’s so nerve wrecking with big cakes like this! Thanks so much for watching 💛
Thank u for keeping it real I now know that is not just me being really stressful when i have to take cake to the venue thank you thank for sharing thank for the tips love love your works
I’m always stressed! Haha. Even when I take all precautions, you just never know with cakes and driving!
Thanks so much for watching! ♥️
Expertly done. In awe!
Aw thank you so much! Appreciate it!
What a beautiful cake ❤️
Thank you so much! 💛
This was super helpful, I recently did my second tiered cake for an event and had NO idea how to transport it properly. Thankfully, it turned out ok, but this info will definitely help me be more confident for the next one.
Congrats on your first two tier delivery! I’m sure you have many more under your belt by now (sorry for the late reply!) 😊 I’m glad you found this helpful! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment!
So much respect ✊
Thank you sooooo much! ❣️🙏🏽
Delivering tiered cakes is probably the most terrifying thing ever. I delivered my first 5 tiered wedding cake fully stacked and decorated in once peace an hour away thanks to my cakesafe. Best investment ever
That’s amazing! I don’t think I have delivered four tiers fully stacked, because of my anxiety haha! I have heard such great things about cakesafe. Maybe I’ll make the investment also! Thank you for watching!
Great job! I couldn't take the anxiety in delivering and putting a big, complex cake together.
Thank you for sharing your setup video! I noticed that you were able to touch the side of the small cake with SMBC and not make a finger print. Is the cake frozen? Do you ever have a problem with the cake sweating while you set it up? What do you do you deliver in the hot months of your area?
We like your solution as it has a lot of space, however we think our one is better, a actual Cake Fridge you can put in the car!
Do you wrap the fresh flowers and greenery before going into the cake?
This is so inspirational! Where did you purchase the mini cake smoother?
Love this cake. I have a 5 tier to deliver next weekend. What is the clear tool you are using to smooth the gaps in the cake?
Hi there! I hope the delivery went well! It’s actually a small acrylic scraper that broke! But I kept it because it’s the perfect size to fill and scrape the seams 😂
His eyes!!
Congratulations for your hard work! Do you think can you share with us how much was this cake? Or how much was the delivery?
Love your videos . Thank you. I have a question. Where do I get the delivery boxes.I need something like that big for my cakes. Thank you,
Thank you so much! Here is the one I have: www.sugarworks.com/collections/cake-porters/products/cake-porter-medium-pack?variant=8254678761575
can you plz make another video about the design and details about the cake bags, cooling ice pouch, box materials used ? i am looking for my cake shop, thanks in adv
Do the cake safe’s have cushioning on the bottom? Our road out here are falling apart and are bumpy. Would a cake safe keep them safe?
Did you make the delivery box or you bought it
OMG.. 😱.. it is too stressful part.
Good job
Wow amazing. How long do you drive to venue? And which type of buttercream did you use?
Thanks so much for watching! The drive was around 50 minutes! We use Swiss Meringue Buttercream! Luckily this cake was in the cooler part of the year and the Cake Porter was insulated to keep the cake cool!
That is beautiful!!! What buttercream do you use and do you stack with a central dowel? I would love to make a cake that big one day? I have my first 3 tier soon and I’m terrified!!!
Thanks so much!
I use Swiss Meringue Buttercream! When I initially started decorating cakes, I used American buttercream. Eventually I switched to SMBC! I love that is not gritty or overly sweet. Once you get the hang of working with it, it’s creamy, smooth, shiny and flawless!
I do use a center dowel. There’s a few ways to do it, but what’s worked best for me is adding the dowel after all of my tiers are stacked!
I hope your first three tier goes so well! 💕
This is beautiful.❤.
Is it possible to achieve the same design using fresh cream?
Hello. How can I find those transporting red bags / boxes. ??
Where did you get the cake transporter?
What are the reviews on the red cake covers, the video claims the cooler will stay cold at a 1:1 ratio . 1lb per hour. Has Anybody tried it?
I see a comment not answered…is it ok to not wrap fresh floral on the cake. I don’t do it on mine but some say it’s necessary.
Hi i have a question and id love some advise. Im new to wedding cakes and i would love to know how do you stack cakes at the wedding venue when the cakes are not cold due to the drive. I have an order this weekend and its stressing me to stack at rhe venue
Great questions! I have two questions- 1. Are you using Swiss meringue or American buttercream? If you’re using American, it should crust making it a little bit easier to stack when not cold! 2. Do you have access to even something small to keep the top tier chilled? The top tier is the smallest so even a little insulated box with an ice pack? For me, keeping the cake chilled is essential. It’s so difficult and stressful when the buttercream has become soft!
What is that cake smoother that you are using? Is is plexi? Love your work!
Thank you!
Okay so the small acrylic one was a regular size acrylic that I accidentally broke and it ended up being the perfect size for touching up seems when stacking! I also really like to use detail scrapers because they’re small and super thin!
did you go to school or self taught? TY loved this video
Where can I find this boxes for insolation
gorgeous cake! thank you for sharing real life! do you mind me aski ng what you charge for delivering a baby like this!?
Love the video! Are those tiers 4.25, 6.25, 8.25, etc.... or 4.50, 6.50, 8.50 and so forth?
Thank you for watching! The pans were 4” + 6” + 8” + 10” and 12”. With icing, I would say we ended up add 0.25”!
What about the layer of each cake
Bonsoir ou vous allez acheter ces boîtes svp merci de votre réponse cordialement
I've got a three tier wedding cake order for this Sunday. The bride is having someone come to pick up the cake but plans to have the cake placed onto a cake stand at the venue. Is this going to work? I've transferred cakes onto cake stands, but never a 3 tier one already stacked. Any recommendations for how to approach this one?
I see! So you usually assemble the cake on-site? With the exception of 5 tier cakes and some 4 tier cakes, I always assemble prior to delivering! Mainly because it’s too nerve wrecking and too hot in Arizona to travel with cakes that need to then be stacked.
I would just make sure the cake is very well supported and secure to the board. Straws or dowels in between each tier and then a center dowel. One method that helps with the cake being secure to the board is center doweling from the base of the cake. I did this when I first started with cakes but it’s just a bit too much work for me!
What are the sizes of your tiers?
hi tnx for nice vlog may i ask if the flower are all edible? tnx
Hi! The flowers are not edible. They are fresh floral so we wrapped the stems before going into the cake. Sometimes, we will use straws as a barrier.
You cant even see the cake with all the flowers lol
How much do you charge for a cake that size?
How many people it does serve
138 going off of the Wilton cutting guide for wedding cakes!
What are the diameters of each and how tall?
We did 4" + 6" + 8" + 10" + 12" with three layers of cake per tier. I didn't measure, sadly! But my guess is around 25" tall at minimum.
Where can we purchase a box liner like that ?
Here is a link to their medium size one- amzn.to/3SQyNy2. Their website should have the larger one (shown in the video).
