Suburban RV Water Heater Not Igniting

Addressing a common problem with Suburban RV liquid propane and LP/ electric water heaters not igniting on LP. If your Suburban water heater has LP but doesn't click, a bad auto-ignition control board is probably the cause.

Mate i have this exact problem...no im in western australia and rang the caravan service center and the cheeky buggers want $515 for said board i can order it from china or the usa way cheaper like usa is $150 au and china is $100 with free shipping crazy mark up....

The markup through dealers and service centers is crazy! Amazon is generally the cheapest option.

Mine lights 3 times on propane, but will not stay lit. Electric works fine

@@the-papaw that sounds like a problem with the thermocouple. When the thermo couple fails, the gas block will open the valve to ignite, but then close it again because it thinks the burner didn't ignite.
